It's buried in the sands of time, but CrownVicTosh will come stuff a fedora down your throat if you put them in or something like that IIRC.
I will too unless you put the proper housings in.
I''ll only come if you do somthing like 12k or green, yellow, or pink lights.
I won't hurt you. I will only duck tape a pink dildio to your hood.
Apparently the bolt that holds my torsion mount to the engine came loose somewhere. Thats an interesting one to feel. Release clutch, engine tries to do a 180 in the bay...
At least the local VW has the bolt. Guess I'm gonna pick up some threadlock along the way as well.
I plan on getting some HIDs too in the future. For these:

I've only had complements.
Please don't. You're better off finding some Acura TL or some other car's Bixenon projectors and retrofitting them to your lamps. Don't buy some Chinese "HID" kit and just bolt it on, won't work. Do it for less money like the Nissan guys do and get a proper lighting cut-off so you don't blind people and actually light up the road:

I'd love to do the crazy awesome "proper" projector thing, but I'm no good at retrofitting stuff like that. Besides, That accord IS in fact mine and I made DAMN sure that it has the cut off and actual projector housings, right now it only has stock bulbs in it.
If and or when I get an HID kit I'll pull these lights out and inspect the projectors to make sure they are going to work right, I did almost two weeks worth straight of research to make sure I was getting the right stuff and going to set it up right as to not blind anyone.
Have a look:

No worries, I don't like to much more then 5k or 6k, anything more then that is just flabbergasting and dumb.
just put these in my truck, 6k but seem a little more blue to me.

6k does have a bluish tinge to it. I went with 5k on mine.

A temp fix (maybe a permanent solution) to the GF's 1989 motor mounts. I got flak because its more of a DIY solution. Mainly from this one dude who thinks he's the shit. People find the need to hate on anything these days.
These work and fit just fine; soft hockey pucks
It looks great but what are the torque specs
It looks great but what are the torque specs
Hockey puck is really hard and hurts to get hit by
So today's DIY consisted of fitting my xenon DRL/Side and Main lights:
DRL/Side:

Main:

The mains don't took too bright due to my camera. Though they light up a fair chunk of the road.
It doesn't look like you retrofitted projectors or put different reflectors in.

I'm not that good at car DIY - Though all I did was change the bulbs. Should I have done anything else?
This is what my front light looks like:

If you had halogens and put xenon bulbs in you need to swap the entire housing with your type of headlights.
Xenons in halogen housings blind other drivers because xenon lights output light in a different pattern and scatter all over the place.

Ugh, it really needs to be a legal requirement that these kits have warnings on the packaging telling you to get projector housings.
Woops. Fried the radio in the civic. Before doing so I knew I'd probably fuck up and do that, and then I did.
plugged it in with the cover off and put a cassette in, then watched the autoflip shit itself (plays 5s one side then flips to other side for 5s and then etc etc) so I went to poke it with a plastic thing, then im like nah I'll use this metal screwdriver.
You know what happened next when I may or may not of shorted the circuit board to ground and made a big spark.

Dude, I know the feeling. I do a fair deal of night driving and have a bit of light sensitivity, I want to beat these people it hurts so bad. I really want to get a dash cam just to show how many dumb-shits there are doing this kinda thing. Good thing DCs are around 20 to 40 bux on ebay.

I hope my girlfriend drives the shit out of this thing until it dies.

Halogen housing on the left, proper HID housing on the right

Put a spot on the roof of your car, give 'em a good flash when you see someone with improper Xenons.

That's encouraging road rage....
It wasn't serious. But improper Xenons do encourage it too.

Now if only you could do without any other parts in there, you'd still be able to tell it was a bluegreen block.

Tore down the Civic and got to the exhaust manifold, stupid piece of shit wouldn't come off. Had to cut into the downpipe because it wouldn't clear the oil pan and the nuts were seized. Tired undoing the head to pop it all off at the same time and that ended even worse. Top dizzy bolt took 45 minutes of desperate struggle, hammers, punches, screwdrivers and vicegrips.
FINALLY THOUGH. Got the stupid head off.

Dropped it off at the machine shop to have it hot tanked and surfaced.

Installed a strut bar. Please don't pay attention to the dirty engine bay, I am getting my dad's power washer to clean it.
