But don't worry, the heaters work extremely well!
They should normally get hot inside quite quickly with the vents all the way open but mine somehow doesn't. I guess my hoses/tubes/whatever aren't very... solid. Mine starts to get hot inside after like 20 minutes.

Plus heat only blows out of under the back seat. Truly the only issue it has right now is the auto choke does not work. Hard as balls to keep running in the morning.

Today was a good day. I helped my dad with his rotors and pads since I had done mine last fall; I fixed my cigarette lighter finally, and then removed and cleaned my center console. Bringing it in tomorrow for an oil change (30k overdue) [t]http://i.imgur.com/0LWmALZ.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/bJYIBwt.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/OZYCpC6.jpg[/t] and I found out that I have a heater. [t]http://i.imgur.com/OJozaWo.jpg[/t] [editline]7th April 2013[/editline] BUT WAIT. Theres one more thing: I found a dollar underneath my seat after I had removed the console

Drilled a gorillion holes for plug welding floors.
I'm on borrowed time.
I just don't even understand how you can't spare 30 min to change the oil. I almost can't comprehend it, and you call yourself a car guy?
So I decided to paint my grill on my E46, instead of a complete black out look, I decided to go with black out with chrome inserts... I cannot be happier with the way it turned out.
It's a vr6 engine aswell and vr6 fender flares. and vr6 everything
Hot, i came close to buying a vr6 swapped Vento once, to bad the cuntflap that was selling it blew it up. Kinda want a vr6 lip, i have a mk3 gl or whatever lip on my E36 currently. Cleaned my engine bay and installed my filter that finally arrived after a month of waiting, still need to find a better way to route cold air towards it and build a box or something. BACK TO DIY ROOT. paid plate, 210$ for 6 months, ouch fuck you quebec. -Picked up some Mt90 -Picked up 6L of 10w30 syntech -Picked up a 4runner oil filter (fits the 1jz 2jz 5m 6m 7m) ALL ready for transmission installation and driving the car back home, it might be tonight or tomorrow.
I don't think you engine will be on this earth much longer.
Back when my brother got his license and was driving around my dads old Chevy Astro, I think it had to have gone a year and a half between oil changes. My dad didn't want to pay for oil and my brother didn't have a job at the time. Still runs like a champ to this day. [editline]8th April 2013[/editline]
A couple Ford filters fit on the suppy motors too. Can't remember the specific model, but I got a Purolator on mine. They're a bit bigger than stock size.
So after pouring over my mpg issues and being able to bounce them off an old buddy of mine for a couple hours I basically came to that since it's not any maintenance and I can't find any exhaust/intake/vacuum leaks it's either fuel, tps(doesn't seem right) or timing. After checking those I figured either look into cleaning up the whole intake manifold, sending the injectors to be cleaned and triple checking the header for exhaust leaks. During the conversation I came to the conclusion that it would have to be timing because the only thing which has changed on my car is the transmission and that only affects RPM which the only thing that I came up with is related to RPM is timing. I figured there's probably a specific change designed into the ECU for cruising at 2500-2800rpms(highway speed) and with highway being 3000-4000. With the fuel not burning as good as possible this would have also possibly triggered my P420's. I borrowed a timing gun from my girlfriend's dad and it ended up being 11 BTDC with 16(14-18)BTDC being spec.. I set it to 16-17BTDC, reset the ECU and filled the tank. So most likely the dumbasses at the shop who did my timing belt a few years ago can't operate a fucking timing light and it's been set there for 30k miles which could explain my car disliking plugs since then..
"why the fuck arent these bits FUCKING WORKING?" *use airhammer to make holes* *attempt drill again, slow it down while looking at the bit* >spinning the wrong way I had the fucking drill spinning backwards for about 2 hours and didn't realize it.
