So I pulled my carpet out yesterday. [t] And here is what it looked like: [t]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y150/Takie_Kaio/CAM00404_zps69173a47.jpg~original[/t] And here is what came out of it: [t] It's SOOOO much cleaner now, still stained but doesn't retain the (assumed) smell of the crotches of half the planets population of animals. Right fucking scumbag the PO was too, the fuck did she do? Spill coffee and puke all over just for fun? She had kids too, bet they were dirty motherfuckers also... And I got a new Toy! [t]
Dye the carpet! As long as the fibers are still decent, dye it a darker cleaner black and it'll look brand new.
I'd rather bleach it white and dye it at least near the original color. That's also a before, it is no where near that anymore, just a light stain or two. It also no longer has any kind of smell too.

Just sayin' cuz I noticed them all loose and stuff, the pic is prolly before you were all done anyway.
Finally got a day off after 9 days of work. Had time to re-do my exhaust tips, from single to duals back again. [t]http://i.imgur.com/nQ3r7PR.jpg?1[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/KiZK4e8.jpg?1[/t]

Yesterday at a job interview: "Do you have reliable transportation?" "Yes." I get home, leave my car (95 Jeep Cherokee w/ straight six) and hear a loud hissing noise coming from the engine. I wait for it to cool down and then pop the hood, and find that my engine has had bright orange diarrhea all over the block. Found that one of the old heating hoses had blown out near its fitting and needed to be replaced. I refill the radiator with antifreeze and then ride with my dad to Autozone. Bought two hoses (replaced the other one for good measure) and drive home, only to realize that the two heater hoses were plugged into a bypass and didn't connect to the heater manifold at all, and the latter was completely rotted out. Turns out I've owned this car for three years and never realized my heater was broken. Another trip to Autozone, another part. Replaced the manifold, plugged in both hoses and clamped it all down. Then I noticed that a CCV hose was disconnected from its fitting at the rear of the block. Tried to plug it back in and realized that it was also rotted. Called Autozone- they don't even carry that thing. I figure since it was obviously broken beforehand and hadn't caused a problem, I could get away with just taping it up with electrical tape for now.
God, driving an old car is so scary, every new sound or vibration could either be due to age, road condition or something else entirely. But it might all just as well be a serious issue. I'm hoping that it lives till after next inspection, if so I'll be ok with my investment.
Well, replaced control arms last night with a new set that had poly bushings installed, night and day difference considering one was ripped and the other 3 were old and crusty. They lasted 25 long years but now some serious bushings are in their place. Got an alignment done and they got it spot on now since my control arm bushings are new unlike before. Also my neighbor is really nice, for a little project i'm working on. I am such a happy dragon right now [sp]I mean person...[/sp]
Went to install my pilot bushing and everything went great and well. [sp]it was the wrong fucking size and i didnt think to measure the hole with calipers about a month ago so now its waiting time again fuck fuck fuck[/sp] Oh well. Brought it upon myself. Installed the new clutch master/slave combo. Still not sure how I feel about it being entirely made of plastic, line and all. Probably will last about 2 runs offroad ;_;
So I decided to figure out what my exhaust leak was on my Civic this morning, jacked it up and looked underneath and figured it was the end of the header/exhaust manifold where it goes into the cat with a donut gasket. Started tightening it up and heard a clunking metal noise when tightening it to the cat. Paid a little more attention and the whole lower piece was completely loose at both ends and free to rattle/wiggle around..... Well that explains why I was getting blue oil exhaust smoke out of the hood when I rev limitered it.... I roll over sightly and inspect the underside to find my alternator belt has completely flipped over and been running on the edge/wall of the alternator pulley and crank pully wanting to completely come off...... So I pop the hood, fix that and while going to shut the hood I notice the radiator fan has completely came off the radiator and the bolts that held it in place had fallen off at some point. The fucking fan was just chilling there trying to explode on various metal bits and fall under the car. :v: Not only that but I decided to tighten the valve cover nuts since it's been leaking up it's self and it turns out they were pretty loose. This car is like vibrating it's self to death because I honestly remember tightening a lot of these things down pretty tight short of the fan which I didn't want to crack the radiator since that's how it appeared the P.O did. Jesus fuck I was so close to exploding the radiator fan and throwing an alternator belt even though I haven't noticed anything odd at all in the last 2 days since I checked the oil...

Found it! The part on the right is the end of my passenger side header. The part on the left is the cat. I'm guessing the clamp got caught on something I was passing over and bent it into the cat.
That looks bent up at the rear completely, I'm not really a fan of all the silly clamps and stuff that a lot of exhausts use. Hondas all use these kinda ball/donut/cone style connector at points that might flex slightly and generally a 3 bolt flat flange with a o-ring style gasket for the cat-mid pipe. The stock D15 mani is this. I should have just picked up a good fitting one from a buddy with newer 4 wire o2 sensors for $25...
Changed my wheel bearing.. and i'm exhausted. Car doesn't go womp womp womp anymore, but now i need an alignment REALLY bad.
The cloth on the door panels was coming off on both passenger side doors, forgot to take a picture of the front door. Before [T]http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m598/Awike1991/Mobile%20Uploads/20140607_140334_zpsg2vkmn8y.jpg[/t] After [T]http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m598/Awike1991/Mobile%20Uploads/20140607_140946_zpsoyq3okss.jpg[/t] pulled the stereo out of my old car and got the stereo in my new car half out before I realized I dont have a soldering iron. That'll have to wait till payday. :\
Didn't it come with an adapter? All the ones I've bought have come with (the same) adapter.
Gotta splice the harnesses together, turns out my brother has everything I need in the back of his car so I'll take care of that on my day off.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/9CmMCeO.jpg[/t] I got 6 oem nissan steelies for $30 im going to use as "drift spares". in the process of painting them white.
Not car related but it's another hobby of mine besides computers and cars. Fish tanks! What other hobbies do people in here have? [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/2014-06-11%2022.38.51.jpg[/t] [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/2014-06-11%2023.44.18.jpg[/t] Bought a 29 gallon to replace my garage sale special 10 gal. tank which has a seal that I'm not overly comfortable with along with a shitty light that blows 1 out of 2 $15 bulbs at least every year causing me to replace both. Repurposed my 30 gallon filter from my 10 gallon and got it setup and cycling. Decided the $330 setup at the local fish store was bullshit, found a stand online at Petco twice as good for $80 instead of $140. Picked up a 29 gallon tank from them for $70, ordered a really badass LED light from a smaller time company named Fennex for $80 which would probably be $180 for something comparable locally. Then got a nice glass top and a heater from another site for what a 150 watt heater is locally. Came out to about $275 for top quality stuff instead of "just enough" and "easy". I got a tank from Petco for $50 but it was all chewed up from idiots and had a shelf sitting on it, didn't see any of the damage until I got it home and noticed it was constructed like shit so I returned it.. I like to support local stores when I can afford to. Everything else is in the mail along with some new 9005 highbeam bulbs since one of my headlights I modded in my Civic out of a container that has been thrown about for the last 3 years has a broken contact to the base. $16 for new bulbs with like 175% stock output is a fucking steal in my book, I'll also mod up some old HID harnesses for plug and play after a 5 second mod to the top tab. They're also Hella Long Life bulbs so they should last a bit longer than OEM used bulbs made in 90's.
What other hobbies do people in here have?
I ride bikes casually though I would like to get into racing. I have two Diamondback bikes: a 1997 Sorento mountain bike, and a 2013 Trace Sport road and light trail bike. I put an average of 100 miles on the bikes per week from April to November. And I get my road and trail bike back this weekend from the shop since I put 2k miles on it and shot all of the bearings, snapped the chain, and stripped the gears to the point that 8th gear was just a toothless disc.
If I had more money I'd have alot of hobbies. I can afford gaming, which is about it right now, but I like hiking, biking, 4 wheelin, photography, buildin stuff, fixing stuff like electronics, cars or anything really with an engine, appliances... I can fix most of what I get my hands on, and if I can't I'll work at it till I do. Which tends to work but takes a long time. Haiku time: My words a jumbled mess, Head spins and stomach hurts, Hangover.
What other hobbies do people in here have?
Mountain biking (if you can call it that when you have no mountains), fishing, shooting, chinese cartoons and chinese cartoon merchandise, drinking beer and sleeping.
What other hobbies do people in here have?
Bodybuilding (competing in octobre), biking casually for 4-6 hours in the city, knives, guns, cars (ofc), engines, sorta games/gaming but now its just occassional, football, scrap hauling, refurbishing odd things and cars, fabrication, and guitar but not so much anymore. I've always liked hobbies, the more the better but you gotta balance them out, you cant have 5 expensive super time consuming hobbies, at the most I think 1 main one to dedicate towards (cars/refurbishing) and a sub one thats not as expensive but easy to do in the shadow of the main one (bodybuilding and biking).
once again working on that sebring Chrysler in their infinite wisdom made it so you have to pull the upper intake manifold to get to the back bank of plugs grrrr...
What other hobbies do people in here have?
Hunting and deer management. We work our asses off and spend thousands to get food plots to properly grow and planting food that they can eat during the coldest times of the year when all of the underbrush is dead. Of course we also kill and eat them, but we improve their quality of life and make sure they have everything they need. It keeps them healthy and gives us more meat in return. Some camera pics from my plot: A bunch of does eating on the clover (Imperial Whitetail Clover) I planted. This is after the rut (sexytime of the year for deer), so they are trying to get nutrients for their pregnancies. Some bucks on my plot trying to recuperate from the rut. Bucks spend weeks during the rut running around looking for a doe to mate with, and seldom eat during the rut. They lose a lot of body mass and build it back once the rut is over. Can you imagine running around for weeks, not eating, just chasing pussy???? This one is my plot a few weeks ago. Once spring time comes around, they eat on underbrush, flowers, and berries instead of going to food plots. As you can see, the clover is finally able to grow without being eaten immediately. Gotta love the sight of crimson clover when it flowers.....
What other hobbies do people in here have?
Mostly my time and money goes into the bike, but I also have an interest in computers and electronics in general (right now I have a 4 monitor/2 computer set up with about 6 drives in the desktop), and movie making (therefore all the drives, raw material takes up space!) and I play the guitar from time to time. I haven't been able to afford any of my hobbies lately, though (except the bike, which is partly the reason why I don't have money) because I'm saving up for my license and a car.
What other hobbies do people in here have?
Women and art. One in the other, the other in the one. I used to be a major urbex dude and graffiti artist. Mainly because I never had money for a car so I walked with my Converse shoes everywhere. I would have crates of spray paint and backpacks full of them. This lifestyle interested lots of girls so they followed me around and helped me, etc. Until I wised up and got a car, much classier women, more fun on dates. I gotta get back into spray paint again soon.

My hobbies are racing + cars, football, weightlifting, tinkering with random shit, I do art from time to time but its mainly photography these days even though I have a shit camera, since I don't have much time to draw and paint, although I am good at both. [editline]13th June 2014[/editline] I've also been getting into weaponry, I have an Ithaca Model 37 12 gauge, a compound bow, some kewl knives, and an air rifle.
Cars, guns(Plinking, Skeet shooting, display.) , cooking, photography(Shitty equipment, but I do enjoy.), hunting, building random shit out of scrap or whatever. Those would have to be my hobbies, otherwise I'd say I'm rather boring.
