"examination gloves" are the best though when doing fine work with oily stuff, normal gloves usually just get in your way [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] I used this kind of gloves at work They were pretty much skin tight but still got in to way even though the smallest bolt size on the machine I worked with was 30mm
I use these at school, best type of gloves: [t]http://www.forbesanddavies.co.nz/uploads/Products/product_2729/image1.jpg[/t]

Imagine a school with shop class...
I had like 20 pairs of the same type of gloves, except made by atlas. I still didn't like using them. :v:
My old job handed those out in inventory when you needed them. I had about 20 pairs and swapped em every time they got dirty. We used those when we had to climb the wooden rollercoaster and they sucked for grip, but were better than getting a pressure treated yellow pine splinter driven right into your hand.
getting a pressure treated yellow pine splinter driven right into your hand.
[sp]this is my fetish[/sp]
So my aforementioned job of changing a high pressure PS line on a 99 cougar and oil change on an 08 Grand Caravan has been completed today. 145 bux in pocket, and a few more things to come. plugs on the caravan and oil change on a GIANT toyota truck (Tundra), evidently the truck has no drain plug in the pan and it has to be dropped, but I'll have a look for myself. EDIT: He meant drop the SKID PLATE to get to the plug. I misheard him.

But if it's higher up on the block... can't do it.
Imagine a school with shop class...
As in mechanics? I went to a regular car mechanic class two years ago, got 5 and 6 on everything (Norwegian equivalent of B and A) and now I go to a car body repair and painting class. Both have their own workshops with car lifts and everything.
Imagine a school with shop class...
Norway has specialized high schools. So Ldesu is taking a course within car bodywork, to be able to get a job within that field, so his school has to offer him some practical work. In the same way, I've been taking a course within the electrician (actually a specialized field that's similar to electrician), so I worked on controlling electric motors, making robots, etc.
i just started on an electrician course yesterday, holyshitneckbeardseverywhere.
In my first year, there was not a single girl in my school. 36 students, and not a single girl. Staff was all men too.
I was studying to be a forest machine operator for 3 years, during that time there was no female students in the entire school (out of ~50-100 students) No wait I lied, there was some 50y+ for sometime, god knows for what reason. And one in the first year when logistics students still studied at the same place
i just started on an electrician course yesterday, holyshitneckbeardseverywhere.
At least you've finally come to terms with your impediment.
Replaced the coolant and inspected the old coolant and only saw very miniscule amounts of scale. Pulled off the duct between the fan and the heater core to inspect and found it full of leaves. I don't really know where the hell these cars intake their air from but you ALWAYS find or hear leaves and other shit caught between the blower and the core. Also tried to free up the vent mode switch which was always a two hand job to slide by greasing the plastic cam but that didn't work. It finally let up when I pulled apart the center console to reach inside the controls and run 3 in 1 oil down the control wire.
im not a neck beard :( or fat. also there's an asian chick, but she's not very attractive.
For my school we had a poorly managed mechanics class until we got a new teacher. So for the first year it was pretty much just cleaning the place up and organizing it, second year we got shit done, and third year its really started to kick off. I was only allowed to take grade 10/11 mechanics/fabrications because i had gotten 95/100 every semester and 7/5 credits (5 is the usual, 7 is if you do extra) in every semester save for one where I got 8/5 which is unheard of. So instead of having 20 credits I had 29 leaving no more credits available for me to get in the grade 12 class. Sucked because it was my favorite class save for sports performance which was basically lift weights and get credits.
I kept "losing" my gloves often enough that i got yelled at for taking too many gloves. :v:
We didn't get yelled at. We eventually got accused of taking multiple pairs in one sign out. You had to put your radio number, name, work order number, and date to check anything out. They didn't trust us after a while. Maybe it was because we pocketed 5 pairs for the worksite but only put "1" Who knows. I thought it was alright. Just me, some gay guy, and about 30 girls in a class. It was a very important skill to learn and I now know many important social skills for partying, and it's probably got me more chicks than weight training would've.
Well thats what works for you right! I was raised in an enviroment of macho, so getting big and manly was the only option I'd seen. I'd also had really bad self-esteem and confidence, among other problems I wont dwell on and it really helped me out a lot and continues to do so. My only regret is I didnt start sooner. Being the only guy in a class of 30 girls is major bonus, but your right in the dancing itself and social skills it would teach would without a doubt help a lot, I'd like to learn how to dance sometime, help to loosen up my personality at parties/bars, not knowing how to dance at bars kills my confidence. sub note, washed the jeep! Cleans up pretty well, tires are waaaay too small and the rims suck, new boots should be in on friday! I have been to a gym like 4 times in my entire life and I still manage to somehow be fitter than my a lot of my friends who do gym. Well not somehow, hard work gets hard results
Well not somehow, hard work gets hard results
That, and a lot of protein powder.
Nah, never done that shit, just ate regular food and worked hard
Got these a few years ago. Best gloves ever. I don't wear them when doing delicate things, but for actually turning wrenches and whatnot, they have cut down on hand fatigue and things like that tremendously.
I paid 20bux for my gloves, they were fucking reck'd after ~6 work days
I paid 20bux for my gloves, they were fucking reck'd after ~6 work days
You're obviously working too hard
I got some cheap leather gloves for like 5.99 at the parts store. Didn't get my hands near as dirty after that.
Did rear suspension on the Mazda today. I'll do the fronts next week when I have money for an alignment.

I swear I read something about swaybars and alignment.
