Your steam link doesn't work. It goes to steamcommunity.com/id/Serj22 I tried putting an extra 2 at the end. It still doesn't work. I found you by searching serj222 on the steam community page.

I don't remember. Right now it won't let me connect to steam for some reason.

Pretty sure I goofed somewhere. Tried wiring a second 12v socket in parallel today. Just used some wire taps corresponding to the positive/negative and everything seemed ok, 12v output from the new socket. Plugged a usb charger in which has an LED to test and the fuse popped and it began smoking. Tried another cheap charger with LED and it did the same. Should there be another fuse somewhere? [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/QM0cgSO.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Here's where I tapped the original 12v socket. [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/jzJSm1K.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Where it goes.
Brown is obv your ground on the fact outlet. Verify that the wire you're tapping in there is the wire that is also the ground on your new socket (it'll meter out as continuous with the outter metal on the new socket). The black w/ white stripe is PROBABLY positive.. so it's most likely wired backwards. No need for a fuse, since the factory socket is fused. Also if you want to appeal to my OCD, instead of scotch locks use military splices;
I like it. It has an exaggerated muscle car look to it.
They're meant to resemble 80's/90's style particularly from Porche 911. Trying to make my car close to Nagano Koubou/shakotan/bosozoku style as much as I can. Too many S13's today trying to look fat and ugly. [t]http://i.imgur.com/TvDIZPu.jpg[/t]
That's seriously sweet. Have any other pics of the process? If your car looks like that in the end shiban, it's going to be gorgeous. Ya know.
I don't have any other ones here; I'll check my work computer when I'm in tomorrow.
Aww yee. Here's my car project. Decided against a full-rewrap of the wheel for now. I was experimenting with just the 2 heating pads and didn't like that, wanted full wheel heat. So I ordered a heated wheel cover. This thing pulls around 4-5 amps, so I amp worried about longevity of the clock spring. I ran it on bench power through my factory clock spring for about 45 mins and the clockspring casing got warm to the touch. If it fails I'll regroup from there, lol. Although the cover is a little bulky it looks sort of like fake alcantara, which is what I wanted to begin with. Gets warm fast.. nice on cold mornings. Here's the finished (for now) product in the car And I've got the fiber optics done in the door panels.. I'm not diggin how bright they are.. I think I'm going to hook them directly to the dash lights circuit (they come on with parking lights now, but at full sys voltage.) Then for the fancy color change kit I have I'll probably just put that on a switch so it's not flashing every time I lock/unlock my car.
UPS brought me something for my civic, how nice. [t]http://oi61.tinypic.com/2hfkgfd.jpg[/t] Carbon Synchro's and MFactory helical LSD, remanufactured by Synchrotech. Soon
Did some CV axles on a friends sisters civic. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Vnjra0q.jpg[/thumb] Boots were split and droppin the grease like skrillex trys to drop the bass. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DeLiNLl.jpg[/thumb] Not alot but clickin' like a mamajama. Then got blamed for the speedo not working and got no apologies when I found it was a fuse that blew. Ungrateful cunts.
i finished this up.. And this amp that freaked out was kinda neat.

Yep! Engines are cheap, and easy to work on. There's not as much aftermarket support, but I want to change that. Plus boost fixes anything anyways. Now I'll have the drivetrain to put some power down when the time comes (again). Im excited for round 2.
Dashcam is now fully wired in, thanks to the advice of clutch2. Thanks man.
... Plus boost fixes anything anyways. ...
Truth. Fixed my car real good.
i finished this up..
Wow, how much did that cost the customer at the end?
Next time you need to switch all the plug wires around for them till you get an apology
I would have just taken the dizzy except they were all standing right there, and I got terse with my buddy over it. Made sure he knew it was not my fault aside from that fact that the car doesn't care if it has cv axles with or with out abs rings and that the speed sensor runs on a spline (worm) gear not even close to where the axles fit to. I knew the problem and shrugged off all he had to say about it.
Wow, how much did that cost the customer at the end?
A flippin lot. I shudder to think.. 3 pairs of HIDs from Xenon Depot, no idea how much those tail lights cost, $20 x 3 for the PAC TR7 modules, $100 FLCAN bypass module, $500 Viper 5901, $150 SmartStart module, $350 Advanced keys setup, $30 window roll up module, a slew of relays, then some labor for the PTS, HIDs, window/sunroof automation, taillight and headlight install... It was in a 3 different sittings, total of probably like 24 hours into the car total for everything. There was no info on automating the sunroof/driver's window and those took me a long time to figure out how to make work properly. Today I finally had a day off.. so it was time to dig into the headliner project. By dig into I guess I mean plot out and poke 465 holes, then feed in and glue all 465 little light strands, then trim them. That was a chore. But it's so sweet so far! My cat helped a bit

You could probably end up with a hell of a little torquey motor. I'm not sure what I think of the redline on that motor being so high at the same as the B18B/D15B7 though.
It's limited to 6850rpm stock. Everywhere says 7200 and the tacho goes up to that when you hit the limiter, but my afc says otherwise, and I believe that more.
Need a lightweight amp that doesnt need much power but takes 2 inputs for my Z. Any suggestions? [editline]3rd December 2014[/editline] itll be driving stock speakers and at most one small amp

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-LmTwlFQLkRJ/p_500KTP445U/Alpine-KTP-445U-Power-Pack.html Cute, tiny, can drive 4 speakers off of the front 2 channels then bridge the rear 2 to drive a sub.
Something like that would be great, only thing is having two inputs is a must, trying to integrate a secondary audio source so that I don't need to rid myself of the stock stereo
You could just splice together the two input cables though, combining two into one, which you can then plug into any amp. Only issue would be if both sources are playing at the same time. The stock stereo will most likely not have the connectors that would plug into an amp though, so you'd have to use the amplified signal (as opposed to the pre-out signal aftermarket units use) going from that unit, through an adapter, and into your amplifier.
Something like that would be great, only thing is having two inputs is a must, trying to integrate a secondary audio source so that I don't need to rid myself of the stock stereo
OOohhh!! Use 3 relays to build a switching setup; You turn the RCAs into an aux cord, basically, which is 3 wires, ground, Audio L, and Audio R. Cut that, pump them into 3 relays. Those 3 relays will swap between your aux input source, and your LOC'd source from your factory headunit. The PAC LC-1 goes in line with your aux input for a volume control. You could also get a wired FM modulator; That'll pump audio into your antenna jack on 87.9fm, and but it's generally only 'pretty good' quality.. but significantly simpler.
heard wired fm gives shit quality though, is that true?
