10 liters of oil, damn
did the third oil change and 6th tire rotation this year on the 3, bought july 30th last year 22,700 miles so far.
4.5quarts of oil 0w-20 synthetic.
It only needs about 7.5 to 8 liters but it comes in 5L bottles so... they really get you there.
Hell Strike, I hate starters so much now, I'm paranoid about them, specially after what happened to my last one. Any time the car needs to be cranked a bit too much (like to build fuel pressure etc after some work) I'm shit scared it's going to chuck a wobbly and blow up or something hahaha
Ha.... ha..

Crap voted wrong.
refresh page, re rate.
I learned the hard way on my old car not to buy a remanufactured/aftermarket starter... the gear would stay partially engaged after starting it and make this nasty chattering sound until I guess it got pushed back far enough to not hit the flywheel... the teeth were all rounded off when I finally got around to replacing it lol
Finnished a 3 week "project". Pulled a Hemi from a dodge ram 1500 and let the machiner dudes (see: deaf old guys who somehow know their shit) And put that sum bitch back in today. Started first crank as expected, but not before forgetting to plug in the harness that runs all the injectors. Heh... my bad...
What ever, that fucking eyesore is outta there too, along side that god forsaken eddie bauer expedition...
Next, which I hope will be a fairly smooth sail is the timing belt for a sneaker car. (see: PT Cruiser)
Then my car and it's about damn time too.

And let the machiner dudes... do what? I think you skipped part of the story there!!
Removed my rear muffler since it was about to fall down because of a very frayed rubber thingy holding it up. Car sounds like a rally car now, which is great and all but it's not that fast so it just sounds good and goes slow.
Got halfway into radiator replacement this afternoon. It sucks not having a backup daily driver to kill to death when your main is down
Added oil to the air compressor, it started right up. Im glad it had a low oil shutoff
Adjusted my tires again, 38 front 36 rear. I think now ive got it set right, my tires were cold, my slime gauge seems to be really accurate. Ill be keeping an eye on my tires now and see if any leak

lol Yup, it would seem I did, I was supar tired when I typed that. I meant to add "Do their thing" after the parenthesis.
I was at a friend's house today, and his roommate was *super* excited about a microsquirt PCM he got in for his old Camaro that he's swapping an LS engine into. He told me he had a big surprise on it, too.. I had no idea.
This crazy dude got his hands on TWO gm 3800 super chargers and rigged up brackets to mount them, feed them into an intercooler, then run it all into a big single throttle body going into the LS engine. The super chargers were setup to pull air straight into them through airfilters he mounted in plastic mailbox scoops that come through holes in the hood. The hood's also cut to accommodate the very fronts of the superchargers.. so the pulleys stick out. The best part is the body itself it just beat to hell. This car is such an awesome piece of garage DIY that I can't get over it. I wish I had taken pics. All I know is I can't wait to see what happens.
Found this online, looks pretty similar to what he's got set up:

possibly one of the coolest DIY's Ive seen.
Started sanding off the paint from my bug. Going to fix all cracks and repaint everything that looks worn. Gonna redo the wiring too and make it a bit more clean. I started by giving my brakes some love.
This is from standing still for like a year:

And this is after 30 minutes of polishing

This is gonna take forever.
You aint seen shit until you have seen my coronet, so rusty.

The beedal is nearly finished, tomorrow I shall put the icing on the cake.

My oil will be cool, fuck that water/oil warmer cooler
Installed the new fan, put the new relay in, not sure if the fan works on the temp switch or not yet, since it was too cold for it to hit 210*, but it comes on when you hit the AC.

Chinabay oil relocation kit...
Not sure what year it is, but an Intergra with a B16B1 came in today, needs a timing belt and it'll run, if the valves are not bent. Best thing is it appears to have had some work done to it so it might be a speedster.
Also, Willys Jeep project yard truck inbound.

Are you sure it's a B16B1? I've never heard of that, are you sure it's not a B18B1? Unless it's boosted or has a vtec head it won't make more than like 155hp(10-15hp more) ever. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty solid motor but it's definitely not anything special.
Most likely the valves are bent but another P75 head is worth like $150-200 complete or you could drop a B20B/Z in to replace it for a decent upgrade. Used 81mm pistons for a B series motor are dirt cheap unless they are desirable for a high comp build.

more like setrab oil cooler and a Driftmotion relocation.
Go back to you swapping ecu
There is a B16B, but it's like a late 90's Civic SI motor. Probably not in a teggy though. :v: What year was it?

The B16B is the Civic Type-R motor, it's not as related to the B16A motors(in comparison to overall series excluding the B20A) as it has the same deck height as the rest of the B series motors but has the same bore and stroke of a B16A while having a way better rod/stroke ratio which allowed Honda to give it a redline of 9000rpms. It's a hell of a motor, sure it doesn't make the 200hp that the ITR motors can but with some work you can get 200hp and make a screamer worthy of a S2K AP1 cluster.
Changed the brake rotor, bracket, caliper, pads, shoes and drum, it was about time.

Coming from the guy who has been through like 3 transmissions in the past year.
I know the cooler is setrab but the relocator looks like it is a hong kong special.
