It literally does what you did without cutting :v:
I used to do it on my truck before I put in a new neck around my TB, now the rod holding the lid down is too short...I'll have to see about getting a longer one.

Tranny is out of car
Next up is front fenders and bumpers, then the front suspension, then the glass, then I finish stripping the interior and send it to get blasted(or do it myself)[/QUOTE]
727? Know that all too well.
Replaced the master cylinder in the Chrysler today and thoroughly bled everything. Last time I was out autocrossing the brake went all squishy and a bunch of cones met their demise. Master cylinders are cheap and I figured it was time to replace it. The brake action is much better now, but the travel is still a little random. Sometimes a bit squishy, sometimes just perfect. I'm starting to suspect it might be a vacuum issue. With the cam I'm running I have noticed that the vacuum assist tends to go away if I'm sitting in traffic or after I brake a lot. I think I may buy a vacuum reservoir to put between the booster and the manifold, so hopefully the booster will have a steadier supply of vacuum.
I hate squishy pedals, and I hate excessive travel. If I'm gonna keep autocrossing with this thing I can't have that shit happening.

Maybe the booster is leaking?

I cleaned up the B16A and took all the pictures I hopefully need to get it sold. It cleaned up pretty good for being caked with pure shit, it appears that a previous owner cared for it a decent bit and maybe repainted the block or something. Didn't bother to clean the transmission though, it's a dirty old cable transmission and I don't really care to lol.

yay for exposed air filters.
Yesterday my friend got squirly into a curb in his focus, and bent his front left LCA. It was bent to where the wheel was shoved all the way back into the fender. Today, he got a new LCA, and we successfully repaired it! I feel so proud, i've never had the chance to really fix a broken car. He's gonna have to get a new wheel because it got bent as well, but other than that it's all jesus. I got a new breaker bar, socket set, and $40 out of the deal too, so all in all, it was a good day.

So me and Bradley and my other friend Stephen, lifted the car off the Sub-frame and the Motor. Now we can get to the motor and clean it up and also we can clean up the engine bay.
Fixed my tire leak, it was at the bead. Just broke the bead, sanded a tiny bit, and reseated it.
I noticed my tire has a bulge in it, but im not sure if its from sitting a little low or from hitting a turtle.
Either way, ill be watching it. Really not wanting to replace these tires, theyre pretty much new

Commies, that's who.
I will get them tomorrow when I slack off at work and it is light outside.
Put a couple inches of drop on my daily this weekend.. then adjusted toe jussst slightly to account for a cocked steering wheel this evening. Rusty POS tie rod adjustments made me mad.

Use some headlight renewer/cleaner/buffing stuff on your phone's camera lense, it'll clean up how bad it looks.
I'll get some pics of a sweet ass stang' tomorrow that boasts 500 HP.
Maybe a video if I'm feeling jaunty, agree if you wanna hear the sexy sound. Thats if I can get the owner to start the damn thing, dude hangs around there every so often and hes a pretty chill dude so he might.
Tore apart and repaired a friend's instrument cluster from his E38. No mean feat, hell of a job and his was a nightmare - brittle plastic and some tough as guts holes needed drilling in some places to access torx screws. Never really want to do this again, but having done it now I'd be confident enough to do so for the right price :P

not on my kadett! I don't have a single digital display in the car.
Changed my discs last night. If this doesn't end my brake woes, I'm gonna kill someone.
Don't know if I posted it earlier, but I had already changed the calipers and that didn't do jack. Now that my front brakes are just about new, and that includes another new pair of pads, I should be able to stop worrying about veering off the road if I slam the brakes on the highway.
Got two new rear tires and a battery today. I am going to change out the oil, plugs, air filter, trans fluid, and coolant soon.
[editline]1st May 2013[/editline]
Shocks
Control Arm Bushings
AC Fixed
Parking Brake Cables
Airbox
Door Panel
Weatherstripping
Rear Seal Leak Fix
Power Locks Fixed
Coolant
Oil
Spark Plugs
Air Filter
Trans Fluid
all on my laundry list.

God no I don't think I could handle the emotional turmoil. On a bad display like this one, with how brittle and stuck everything was, every single action felt like it could have been the death of this cluster. The relief I felt of seeing it work was nothing compared to the total horror of plugging it in and wondering what was going to greet me. The car must have been in the sun for a lot of its life or something, never see those plastic bits crumble so bad...
Thankfully the cluster in my 730 is 100% even after 17 years, and I do hope it stays that way for a long time to come!

Most of the issue is that I use my phone for pics, and my phone is this:

Did this today... radio went where the climate controls were, and climate controls went where the radio was. Why? Why not.

Also, nice work, Sobek. Clusters are nightmares sometimes.. done so many bulbs on GM ones that it makes me sick, and those are cake compared to dealing with crumbly Euro bits!
swapped my bucket seats for a nice comfy bench seat that doesn't try to through me into the back seat when a press on the gas.
Edit: pics added
