So I bought this Nifty tool. Any ideas what I should do with it besides the obvious?
Could have gotten it with bluetooth for Torque pro, if you've got an android phone :v:

I do, the MS770 Motion. The only reason I didn't get the BT one was because I didn't want to rely on my phone to tune ECUs. My dual-core laptop is sill faster then my dual-core phone.
I don't have that software yet, I need to get it so it'll just be reading/erasing codes for now.
You can't tune your ECU with a ELM327, it's just a reader.
Torque is great, less space taking than a laptop, and you can hook it up on your windshield/vents with the appropriated phone holder.
I use it always to monitor for knock retard under boost, mainly.

What ones can you then? I had a hard time finding any info on the subject.
To tune your ECU/PCM you need the tool for it.
IE, for GM's and Ford, the best is the HPTuner MPVI Pro suit, but it costs 650$ and only gives you 8 credits to begin with, which is either 4 or 2 cars that you can link to it, credits costs 50$ ea.
There was DHP And Powertuner, but they're discontinued.
Note that I'm sure none of these tools apply to you, since I have no ideas what kinda ride you drive and that I only got the lecture done for my platforms, but to modify your ecu you need the right tool(One that allows you to flash new bins in the car's computer.). Which a ELM327 is not, it's a diagnosis/reader tool.
Damn, it looked and read out to be the best choice for what I was looking for. Everything else I find only does Euro cars. (audi, Skoda ect.)
This is nearly the only thing I could find that would work with a 95 Accord v6.
ELM327 reads all cars equipped with OBD2.
But it doesn't write on any of them, just read. To write, most tools are very well in the 400-1000$ range.
Twist, with any OBD2 Honda, you are better off swapping in an aftermarket ECU or using an OBD2a to OBD1 jumper and going full chippable/tuneable OBD1. Seeing as you have a V6, you're pretty fucked any way you go. You may be able to match up pinouts and use a Legend ECU to go OBD1, but that's not an easily chippable ECU, so you're really doing a downgrade.
What you can do if you want to tweak and tune your V6 is get an Apexi piggyback for cheap, second hand, off of ebay. The SAFC, VAFC, and the Neo are all great piggybacks and have their upsides and downsides. It's not as good as reflashing an ECU but you'll be able to actually tune (half-assed) instead of having to pay HUNDREDS of dollars for one tune. Much better if you plan on doing a number of small upgrades, taking baby steps up in power.

Honda Guru to the rescue, yeah I was reading about those piggybacks. I'm a bit lost on them though, are they a permanent installation?
Also, I learned that if I wanted to make my car a 4cyl, all I'd have to do is swap out the K-frame, main wire harness and of course the ECU. I have like 4 cars I could potentially choose from for that. I'll have to double check tomorrow.
Just got an auto x-ray code reader for my 85 vette. It turns out a lot of connections are old and slightly disconnected. when it rains they bridge and all kinds of hell breaks loose. My blinker dash lights work again and my CEL comes on. I am going to get to the bottom of this, check all my wiring that I can see, and use the shit out of this code reader.
Installed my coilies, meyle HD rsm's and Z3 reinforcement plates, now i just gotta wait for the rear to settle.
Took this one pic in the dark.

If you farted in that car the weight of your expelled gas would drag it on the ground...

If you're going to go 4 pot, you may as well go 4 Cylinder conversion -> OBD2a to OBD1 conversion and be done with it, you can use an automatic Integra OBD1 ECU with some work (I'll link you a good writeup if you're interested).
Piggybacks can be uninstalled, you just splice it into your harness. You can also buy a jumper harness to plug into the ECU and then the harness that bridges to the piggyback unit so you don't have to cut anything. But clipping like 4 wires is easy, so I wouldn't even bother paying so much for a plug and play jumper. If they even make them for the OBD2 Accord, anyways. I'm sure someone does...
Cleaned out an old mouse nest from the caddy.

I want this.
VAG specialist Mechanic Reporting in.
was an EGR code (has been removed but not tuned out of my Electronic Control Module) and a MAF burnoff relay code. Need to check my burn-off relay, but no major CEL's.

Be glad you don't have to dismantle old computers. They love CPU cases.

Ohhh god. How do they even get in? Geezus when I imagine a computer case all I can see them getting threw is empty PCI bracket holes.
Cleaned my MAF sensor and the code went away.
Sprayed the pie tin on the air cleaner red, then mixed some rustoleum red, pure white 1shot enamel, and some Japan Dry together, and brushed it over the left side of the block (most visible part). I tested this mixture on the air intake manifold, and part of the right side of the block to see if it would stay. After 3 weeks, it was holding up just fine even with oil shooting off the drool tubes onto it (some seals I need to replace).
Brushed on thick - imagine painting something with peanut butter - well, not that bad, but it's pretty durable.

If I rebuild it, I'll take it back to metal and shoot it Race me Orange, or neon green.
The head is still blue, and still ugly. I'll probably paint it when I pull it off later.
Replaced the rubber seals around both doors in the Beetle.
Now the doors are actually sealed tight when closed. Much less wind noise and washing it won't cause the interior to float away
