Girlfriend's S13 no longer looks like a cute sleepy car. It now has that tense snake glare; kinda unnerving. Maybe with a different H4 reflector
and thats where I am now. I might go at it again in a bit but right now god damn my hands hurt
edit: Also learned today that the nut that holds my shifter stabilizer on was completely gone. my car is literally falling apart :v:
Ahah, I did that with tension rods. Lots of hammering and a heavy iron chisel. Such a big pain, but with enough lube it was possible.
You put it off to the side to allow for more stuff to carry and not touch it. I did mine that way to get a bicycle in there, but symettrical does look better.
The first one I ever made: In a Cr-v:

Version 2.0 with sub in the middle: The hole up top is a fan that cooled the small amplifier underneath

Version 3.0, and then 3.2 which never had pictures when completed.

That particular build was 3/4" MDF. perfect for speaker boxes. I also use fiberglass to do similar installs, but it takes a lot of glass for enclosures that big. depends on the client.

You know most people who steal wheels have like every lug key on them right?
No because I don't live in a shithole
No because I don't live in a shithole
terrible argument, shitheads from shitholes go to the nice areas to steal nice shit.
In all, it's all shitty shit happening to shit even if its good shit or bad shit.
shit.
oi going to get a gitter for the bass soon
I cleaned my car's IAT sensor after replacing the air filter, also did a quick ECU reset. Feels a lot more responsive.
Having a GF with an S13 is pretty badass!
Got the prothanes in and my car all put back together

The extra vibration was not anywhere near as bad as what I was expecting, it's a bit more harsh and it's more noisy above 3k but overall it's an improvement, and a pretty cheap mod.
I got my car taken in for an alignment, while it does seem that the tyres have better contact with the road, the steering wheel is no longer straight and the original problem of no steering wheel return is still present. Taking it back on tuesday.
...The only thing that was keeping it on was gravity...
he was only in for an oil change he had no idea lmao
Holy crap!
Was it a Sebring? They are ultra prone to that kinda thing. The whole steering system on the Sebring and it's Dodge sister car, the Intrepid, is utter garbage.
Every time I've ever worked on one of those cars I've found a bad (see: Hyper-Worn) joints of some sort.
My mom has a Concorde, and it's terrible. :\
That looks perfectly in spec to me, grease it up and tell them it's close to the service limit :v:
[editline]13th May 2013[/editline]
Make sure you let them know if it comes off of there to stop and put it back on
[editline]13th May 2013[/editline]
Actually, I don't think you'll have to tell them to stop

Going to paint the timing cover soon maybe to match the block
Yesterday i gave my dad a hand upping the fuel pressure in the powerstroke (putting a BB at the end of the spring in the fuel pressure regulator) today he noticed the fuel filter leaking, so we changed that
You know most people who steal wheels have like every lug key on them right?
They may have every lug key but it is easier and faster to steal from someone who doesnt have security locks than it is from someone who does. That extra time could be the difference between getting caught.
I just bought myself a little present :)
