Amazing. Now just to get her ac to go again....
Day before yesterday I got a killer deal on some parts, but heres where it starts;
Three days ago I decided to finally change the front rotors and bearings on the Accord, well I hadn't known that you had to remove the hub and CV axle to do the rotors as the rotor bolts to the back side of the hub. I was going to save the bearings for another day but said fuck it. :/ Well I damaged the splines on one of the hubs trying to knock it out of what I learned is a split type bearing... thingy.. what ever.
No where sells the hubs for my car, not even honda and I was not about to wait possibly a week for one offa eBay so I eventually went to a salvage yard and I happened to know the guy that runs it.
I made out like a bandit, I got a radiator, 2 head rests, an EGR pipe AND pretty much all the hardware for both left and right front steering and suspension. :v: All for 139 bux. It woulda been like 280.
So yeah, car is quieter, smoother and looks right again.
-replaced the iscv hardline with something smaller and shinier

-Replaced bunch of vacuum line and pcv hoses
-Went through the pre-roadtrip checklist.
It's just missing a alignment (friday) and I'm good
edit:
also this is the reason why gasketmaker>exhaust gasket (except for turbos to downpipe, you need a real quality gasket there) :

My supra coughed a exhaust gasket lol

I like how Toyota during the 80's and most of the 90's left the engine hoist "hooks" on the engines instead of unbolting them at the factory after assembly was done.
Both my corolla's had them.

well, gives you a mean to pull the engine heh

Newer ones sometimes left the back hook, but not the front (radiator side). My 2004 Vibe had the rear hook. It helped keep the engine cover in place.
Wrapped my cold AC line in 1/8" thick double sided foam tape and then wrapped it in foil tape.
Hoping itll help my AC a tad on the hotter days and when im in stop/go traffic.
It worked good before, still the best AC ive ever felt, but itd be nice to improve it if i can

Will say one word. Audi.
Dear god on its slowest speed on the hottest day it will freeze your nuts off and in the winter your put it on heat and wonder if the vents are going to melt.
Jeep got a new bumper and winch. Took a few days and a lot of work to get it looking nice.
Here's what I started out with, used Rugged Ridge XHD and Superwinch lp 10000 -

Ontario rust, scratched, needs some love. Nothing some sandpaper and a whole lot of bedliner can't fix -

Previous owner tried to paint the fairlead... with the rollers still attached. Polish that rod! -

Stuff's pretty cool lol
Pulled the trans out of the piece of shit (one hour and next to no spills, personal best), if you think this side is bad the other is 10x as bad. There is even moss growing on the back!
[thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/null_zpsecd6d39b.jpg?t=1371089872[/thumb]
But god damn would this ever make a wicked sleeper car
The trans looks pretty good from it, minimal play (the past trans had a lot), clean, shifts smooth. Have to order an adaptor pilot bearing, might buy a Hurst Billet Pro shifter.

I tried this and it still doesn't help. :( Good thing I am dumping the car before it gets worse.

What line did you wrap?
I noticed many wrap them all, but youre only supposed to wrap the low pressure/cold line. They then complain about it not working, when they made their cold line colder and hot line hotter.
Still not sure if it helped mine, havent drove with it yet
Mounted the lip on the BMW today!

Hurrah!
And now that that's out of the way.. on to a Civic hatch for bodywork and paint. The good news it it's my friend's car, and he's helping, PLUS like two or three other of our friends! We started last night and like 80% of the car is sanded. There's not much rust.. but I cut out what's rusty anywho. Not shabby. Gonna be white with blue ice pearl over it.. just like my JDprizM, but blue sparklies instead of red

I'm sorry man, but those red CCFL's look awful.
Ahhh fuck you Opera Mini and Opera.
Page 26 errors out Mini. I got to view it for a sec on regular Opera before it made my phone freeze and reboot.
Anyways, since i cant quote;
I hope mine turns out better than yours did. Ive got some driving to do today and its pretty hot, so we will see
Anyone knows where i can buy something just like this:
http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=BK_7011577_0361129344
Except in Northern Europe.
Seems like such thing is non-existent in these parts.
Fuck it, found a small list of fixed VAG pressure switches and their pressure ranges.
Next best thing.

Got the compressor in, dryer in, funfgzfdgn tube in, new windshield pump, new windshield blades, new windshield, new mirror, along with to mobil 1 oil and a mann filter.
AC WORKS! Only downside is now my valve cover gaskets need replacing because synthetic oil slips by so easily... :suicide:
NEXT TO DO : Control Arms, Valve Cover Gaskets , genuine a6 floormats along with a genuine audi rear hatch mat, new front and rear bumper (front a 99 and a 02 rear) Exhaust tips out the bumpa babby.
I put new front shocks in the vette, now i see why people lower them because it sits 3 inches higher than it used to. the old ones were blown.

It looks okay from afar, but the can ran out after the third coat and instead of running into town to grab another one I started pulling it off... Now I want to just redo the whole thing because its all messed up in some parts.
Sucks because that was like 4-5 hours of work :suicide:

I still can't tell what you dipped. Was it bumper plastics?
The window trim and mirrors
I still can't tell what you dipped. Was it bumper plastics?
chrome trim around the windows
-damn double ninja'd-
Also, my car is now throwing an all cylinder misfire code, some p1300 code or something like that i dunno it's 1:06 am atm. I'll confirm tomorrow what it is.
FYI it's the v6 and theres no other codes. Other forums I read say head gasket issues and dizzy issues, I think its the coil.
