I think all of my friends who own a jeep have had to replace their radiator. Must be a jeep thing lol
It's been a long week of dragging a scratchy block over catalyzed plastic hardened goop. My master cylinder comes in tomorrow but we put the new shocks in and bled the brakes, it killed the old master cylinder because of all the shit in the system.

I'll give some a shot. I've been putting it off telling myself I'll buy a real camera (this is on my old W810i camera phone).. but I still haven't bought a camera yet, so yea. heh
My plan today was to put on some stiffer torsion bars on the front, but it turned out to be a little bit to much work for a day. So i thought i might as well see how low it can go while i'm at it :v: before: after:
Putting my new master cylinder tonight.
Went down the the car audio shop I normally go today. had my alarm looked at since in the 3 years I've owned the car I've kicked the alarm brain and wires that hang down above the clutch every so often. I guess the lock wires were a little loose causing my car not to lock when it felt like it. Decided to finish cleaning up my amp/alarm wiring where it goes to the battery, got it all done and decided to cut off the ring terminal for the alarm power wire since it wasn't very solid. Grabbed the nice new terminal I've been saving for it then dropped it somewhere around the fucking subframe where I can't find it. Wonderfully that was the only one that I had which was big enough to fit over the auxiliary post on the battery terminal.. Ugh, having problems with such little things annoy me so much that it really makes me not want to do anything big.
I like HAI much better than CAI or FWI, it's cleaner, safer from water and the blower is hot in all cases anyways, so FWI or CAI changes nothing on such set up. The air gets compressed and heated right ontop of the engine. Dyno sheets shows that on these engines, the cheapest of the HAI performs better than any overpriced CAI there is. May not be true for all engines, but for this one it is. The only gain from such a mod is to hear the blower whine out loud! And to me, that's the best mod.
Just run an intercooler, I have a hot air intake and it doesn't matter. Then again I am upgrading to a better cooling intercooler from the stock one.
Poor S13; undergoing surgery. It pains me to see my friend just try and shove the shit out of the tranny into the motor and try to line it up. So thankful and lucky that I get perks with the job now like being able to use the lifts at the Subaru dealership; airtools are your best buds Turns out the clutch and pressure plate were the parts store special as well as the throwout bearing. Explains why the parts are extremely worn and almost failing. The flywheel was flat lol. In goes Exedy Japan

I am starting to hate parts for my car now Got a 95 acura integra, I had to get a whole new exhaust for it which was super cheap (It's straight piped but hey, I didn't have any money to get a real nice one.) I figured parts for my car were going to be really cheap (some are.) But the SMALLEST fucking things are so god damn much, like my IACV is going out (Or so I think, haven't tested it yet, I cleaned it but every now and then it fluxuates rpm's.) So I checked at a few auto parts store, for a IACV for my car is 170$, and then my Relay Coolant fan fuse went out, check it and it's 45 dollars. I just grabbed a 12 dollar Relay fuse full wire kit and set it up that way. It's just crazy how much money it cost for some parts.

Changed the oil and oil filter on my Kadett yesterday. Took maybe 15-20 minutes. I love dads car lift and all his tools.

Generally you don't replace the IACV if cleaning it doesn't work then you start troubleshooting. Warm up the car, take the intake arm off and place your finger over the hole/holes in the throttlebody before the throttle plate. This should reduce your idle to the base idle of 500, if it's not 500 then you either some idiot adjusted the throttle plate or you have a vac leak. It's also possible since you're a 95 that it's your FITV, look up how to adjust/clean the FITV since you'll most likely need to do it since they suck. If it goes down to 500 and everything seems right then go grab a used one and make sure you get a nice seal since sometimes they go bad. That sounds more like a wiring issue, the wires towards the front of cars tend to get hacked up by P.O's who are retarded. That's also something you should really get/acquire from a salvage yard.

I haven't worked on anything yet; however when I get home I'm going to try and hunt down the source of a mysterious leak on my passenger side that's been allowing water to come in during the rain. Luckily I've got a few good ideas as to what it could be; and luckily, unlike in my previous car, it's only happening on that passenger side. From what I understand the drain in the firewall could be plugged up with gunk. Hopefully that's the only problem because I am so anal retentive about things like this. I always want my carpets nice and clean, not smelling of mildew and stagnant water. I've been there before in my Cavalier; no mater how much air freshener I used I could never get that pungent odor to go away.

If it isn't rubbery and "springy", but rather feels like a piece of soft plastic that is about to disintegrate, then you know it's the culprit.
Replaced the master cylinder last night, new one works amazingly. Also got my alignment done today, Butler tire is the only place in Atlanta to get my alignment done. 210 for alignment and 2 tire plugs (2 nails in one tire, fuck construction zones). My camber was off by 2 or 3 degrees on all tires and my toe was out as far as .20 inches on some. My new shocks that I put in raised the car up that much. (leafs and springs on independent suspension).

The only reason I didn't suspect that right away is because it's almost as if the puddle is forming directly in the center of the floorboard. If water were getting in through the windshield or door seals you would think there would be some trail of water that leads to the culprit. I'll probably replace the weather stripping regardless though; if I plan to take it out into any rough terrain and muddy environments I want the inside sealed off completely. This is why I abandoned my original idea of putting in a simple popup sunroof. There's just way too many issues that can arise from that from what I understand.

Didn't close completely, and it also rusted around the seam between the sunroof and the roof of the car from the inside & out. Sunroofs (ESPECIALLY aftermarket) are not worth the hassle if you live in a area where rust quickly can become a problem.

Went to the garage, i was right. Left front caliper was sticking. Just opened the caliper all the way, hopefully it doesnt stick again
Ordering some parts from Rockauto. Here's my 5% code again, it's good til 6/30. 1462459711985506
