Today when I get home I'm planning to disassemble the latching mechanism on my rear cargo door since it's so rusted it no longer latches properly. Afterward I am going to do a good inspection on my exhaust system. I've gotta go pass emissions next week and it seems that the previous owner had failed the NOx tests. Hopefully my changing the oil, oil filter, air filter, cleaning the air box, and fixing the valve cover leak will have solved my issues.
I originally thought that my Cat might be bad but my other emissions are perfectly under control. I'm thinking that retarding the timing and running the gas tank down to less than a quarter tank to get the Seafoam through the injectors should definitely help.

Anyway I enjoy High Performance summer tires. If I could get away with it I would use a completely bald tire, because every road I go down is a black top and those tires stick to that like orgasmistic.
I had thoughts about getting other tires, baby I just stick to my Federal SuperSteel 595's who knows, I have until August 2nd to decide. (That's when the wheels come in from back order)[/QUOTE]
yeah my bad and i was just wondering because i feel like you'll be lucky to get 10k out of them

Made $120 scrapping some shite.
Not working on anything today, but my dad's bringing down the trailer loaded with more of our things. Among them is tons of my computer things, childhood things, my Legacy wheels, etc.
So i'll be going threw all that, and once I'm done, I'll be cleaning up and painting the Legacy wheels.
Plans are pretty much the same I did with my steel wheels;
sand with 320 grit
spray with etching primer
spray with brilliant gold
spray with gloss clear
After that, they'll have the same color finish as my 5 spoke's do
bought $1032 worth of shit to fix the old benz
gunna be a fun couple of weekends
Ehhhh refitting door trims is probably my least favourite part of any work I've done on the interior of a car..
Yesterday the starter on my crown vic got stuck engaged and kind of fucked itself, so I replaced that today. I also replaced the resistor for the blower motor, because the a/c fan doesnt blow. All signs pointed to the resistor, and it even smelled a little fried, but it still wont blow. All the fuses are intact and the knob works fine, Ill start troubleshooting the motor itself tomorrow.

Is that what they're calling it these days... 'fun'. Hmm :P
Spent all day after work washing the car, degreasing the engine and bay. The worst part being that oil got to some of my plastidipped trim. That repaint job took a lot longer than I thought.
Also wd40 strips plastidip really well but makes a huge greasy mess.

its going to help me forget that i'm pouring money into the 7
Work in progress! Once the cement cures I'll take some pics without the tape. It already looks worlds better though, seriously transformed the car. Also, you can see my new sub/amplifiers for the interior speakers. It's going to be loud as shit.

oh ok
In the middle of properly painting the back center panel on the MR2. Sanded it down a good bit and applied 3 light coats. Once it's dry by tomorrow I'm going to go over with a few coats of clear. With enough luck all the orange peel should flow up into the clear coat, so when I wet sand it and polish it she should be mirror smooth and glossy like the rest of the car. I have to give myself enough time to make sure it's able to be put on my car by 9am at the latest, I have to be at the toyota meet at 11 in Denver. So if I wake up at 7 and work through it she should be all set, and then the fun begins!
Finally got my driver's license yesterday.
I don't like that the tiptronic transmission in the LS won't downshift into first unless you floor it in second. And I never thought I'd left-foot brake in a luxury sedan.
Girlfriend paid $80 for an alignment on the 13 today.
The steering wheel points straight now and the car handles pretty awesomely.
Changed sisters wheels from 235's to 285's
And then it rained today..

[url=http://puu.sh/3rCmm.jpg]Ford Falcon, AU XR6 VCT[/url]
Stock engine.. Aint much to brag about
Hills monster though
Coilovers
Only person at this house who doesnt have coilovers is dad.. who has a 2011 RX8.. probably best handling car in the drive lol
[editline]30th June 2013[/editline]
I'd say dollar for dollar her XR's probably fastest car in the state through the hills
Excluding kit cars and shit
[editline]30th June 2013[/editline]
This fucking drill charger
Mums changed her story to "I never touched it"
Well why isnt it still plugged in to the wall.
Why do we have a cordless drill when we use it like once a year anyway
The ugliest Falcon ever made, nice.
100% with you on AU's being ugly.
But stock, hers would be the least ugly of them all....
I agree its not pretty though lol
The rear in particular is foul
Well shit. Threw the new carb on the beetle afew days ago did not test it because dead batt.
Tested it today and she wont fire. Carb is dumping fuel but she wont fire.
My stepdad said that their is spark... Ohh well, fuck you beetle. I was planing on driving you around the lake and get all the bitches. I'm now thinking about selling it.
Sometime around July 4th I will get a compression tester and see if anything has changed their.
(Last time It ran was when the belt snaped as I was driving it, overheated a little and I had to take baby steps to get it back home.) It ran when I shut it off tho......
Finally fixed the fucking 4x4 in my Blazer... by coincidence. Happened to be fixing some burnt out lights (running, fog, and a daytime) and figured that I should finally consult my 4x4 by checking the vacuum line. Sure as shit, the vacuum line wasn't even connected.
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11823009/Blazer/2013-06-30%2020.12.24.jpg[/t]
Reconnected that, and stuck a clamp on it too so that it wont come off in the future!
Feels so good to have the 4x4 back.. and have actual lighting.
On the side, I cleaned the inside of all my windows today and the rear window was beyond disgusting, but I dont know why. It had a layer of crust on the inside. Thankfully it was easy to wipe off.
Blazers have it simple with their vacuum actuated transfer case. Most of the time when the 4x4 goes out, it's a vacuum hose.

I'm glad it was only the line. Blazers are notorious for that line coming off. If it was anything more serious it probably wouldnt have been fixed.
2nd day in a row it poured rain, have to do the brakes on the civic god dammit!
