It was almost 80F at 2:30AM. [editline]1st July 2013[/editline] Need to go buy more spray adhesive. The can I bought turned out to not be for headliners. Guess I should read the directions before I buy that kind of stuff, as the heat bakes the glue and the headliner sags within a half hour of gluing it.
Cleaned up all the connectors/sensors I could easily get to on the GTI and it seems to have solved my lack of power problem. MAF sensor was especially dirty so I think that may have had a lot to do with it.

I'm going to work on my interior today if the rain permits. I've got to reattach the overhead console; the good news is that I plugged it in and all of the instrumentation work. It just needs a nice heavy duty deep cleaning first. The carpets on the inside of my Jeep are in a bit of terrible condition, but I think a few passes with a carpet cleaner should have it looking somewhat better.

It's 105f out today and my car's ac can't seem to keep up with it... I think I undercharged it when I put it back together last so I hooked up the manifold, realized I don't know what the pressures are supposed to be when it's so hot out (55psi low 260psi high almost sounds too high... anyone?), then said fuck this it's too hot to mess with this shit right now and went inside.

Friends dropping an LS1 in his RX7 (LS1 goodies from USA are both heaps cheaper and arrive faster than getting ones from my country... fuckin Australia) Helped him do a bunch of shit on that, mainly some interior work, installed a short throw shift kit, mounted radiator, and took diff out so he can put in a minispool sometime soon
Started work on my Legacy GT wheels. Doing a pre-sanding cleaning, so i dont use as much sand paper to do them. The left two are cleaned, havent touched the right two yet; [t]http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff136/fcfordlord/C360_2013-07-02-19-31-15-454_zps133151c1.jpg[/t]

Not a fan of rotarys personally Dad - "The best and worst parts of driving the RX8 are because its a rotary" So I dont think he's a huge fan of them either.
Good reasons to kill yourself: Bust ass at work all day.. get out with juuuust enough time to paint some motorcycle parts before the sun sets.. all is well. Parts drying on their stands, lookin pretty good and all. Night time comes, time to move parts inside.. Thinking "ok, very careful.. don't drop them, they're still tacky." Carefully putting last one down and bump the little side panel off of it. It hits the ground.. gets scratched and full of dust. FUCK >:{
It took me weeks to install the water pump on the timing cover and clean the mating surfaces. I can hear the skiddzz already
tried to bleed the brakes on the 245. Took it for a spin afteward :v: I think it ran a little hot :v:

I think I need better rad fans to pull more air through the condenser because it doesn't cool for shit unless I'm actually moving.
Went to the scrapyard and bought a Jap exhaust + muffler which im gonna slap onto that shitty 245 so hard the paint will come off. Also found a wing (it's a station wagon :v: ) This car will be everything that is wrong with the Swedish Volvo Culture.
better cut the springs so it sits way too low
good idea. Gotta make some air holes in the hood too.
don't forget to buy an air filter from biltema, gives you at least 30+ hp
Already put in an open air filter from sparco. I cut the airbox out with a machete. Gonna put on the parts we got today later and take a few pictures of the rolling trashcan :D Edit: Speaking of biltema, they are building one literally right outside my office. Edit: Here we go:
I like :p How rusty is it?
Hm only like totally rusted underneath I'm pretty sure we'll be able to break the car in half :v:
That's awesome.
So yeah I needed to change the oil and filter on the rolling coffin so I jacked it up and fuck me the oil plug probably haven't been touched by a tool this side of year 2000. So I did what any decent ordinary human would do. I removed the oil filter by piercing it with a screw driver I then proceeded to overfill the engine with about one liter of oil. I put a hose on where the oilfilter goes and led it to a bucket. I then fired it up a few times for maybe 10-15 seconds at a time. It worked :v: so the volvo gets to live another day.
Now turbo it already.
Some old dude in a Prado reversed straight in to me in a car park, few scrapes (not too deep) and a reasonable dent... Guess I'll fix that on Sunday or something.
Grill inserts arrived old new
