laquer thinner? or is that basically the same thing as nailpolish remover.
I could try that, i dont have any at the moment though
Edit;
I tried keeping on going for a while, but i didnt notice any change except for it spreading out
I'm slightly sad. I was going to swap wheels and tires to my OEM Honeycombs, take the tires that are currently off them and slap some nice tires on it from another set. Well.... That's to damn expensive at a tire shop.
So I dug out the helo's and tried to mount them. CUNT FUCK WHERES THE HUB CENTERIC RINGS.
Went to Discount Tire. Wooooo Instock 5$ Later....

Finished this key ring light mod last night. I need to get a wire tester because I can't keep splicing every ignition wire lol. Wanted it to light up upon accessory-on, but just ended up having it turn on with the dash lighting. Twist-on wire connectors/wire nuts are your friend
Working pretty well for ten minutes then the cheap blue LED burned out. Welp :suicide:

what are the dimensions of those rims and tires anyhow?
what are the dimensions of those rims and tires anyhow?
Wheels are 16x8 ET23 BMW 1Pc style 5s off of an E38 7 series. I'm driving a BMW E30 (if you didn't know/could tell) and the car is 4x100 hub bolt pattern stock. I converted my hub by using 42 Draft Designs 18mm 4x100 -> 5x120 adapters and put the wheel on.
The Tire is a 215/45/16 Kumho Ecsta XS. It is an old set of tires from my buddy's track car, but it is going on in the mean time until Yokohama S drives go out of backorder nationally. Then I'll run 215/40/16 S drives.

They look meaty as hell from the front

Tried cleaning up the windshield more, this was with headlight restore on it.
Found that if i;
Use just enough fingernail polish remover to get the letters unbonded
Rub the smeared white stuff with a scotchbright steel wool soap pad
Rub it with tooth paste
Then do the headlight restore treatment,
itll come out alright. Eventually ill get some high grit sand paper and wet sand it
Were you trying to get decals off?
Were you trying to get decals off?
On the windshield, it had 'New Bright' painted on in fairly big letters.
Im also taking off the stickers that cover the body, but ive already got a good system for doing that
Ooooh, it's painted on. Was wondering why you were going through so much trouble if they were stickers. :v:
finished welding my intercooler piping, hot side.
Primed the turbo with oil, started the engine open downpipe.
No leaks, everything is fine.
Tomorrow: mid-pipe fabbin'

You might have the wrong resistor for the LED, use this along with the LEDs specs to find what'll work best. By my guess, it'd be a 560 ohm 1/2 watt resistor assuming your LED is 3.3v @ 20 mA.
Happy lighting.
Just to confirm I udnerstand what I'm looking at, thats rings around the ignition where you put the key yeah?
Like my Subaru Forester has?

Hell yeah, i love me some meaty fitment. I'm wishing i could fit 16x8 without coilovers and camber on my civic, but i'll probably go with some 16x7 in the end.

Thanks but that's too much work lol. Maybe I'll need that when I'm making my custom brake light boards. Plan to just pop a new bulb in there and call it a day
Wish I knew half the bulb sizes in my car, the ones I want to replace aren't commonly replaced. Would be nice having all LEDs in the interior

If you just put a new LED in there, it'll burn as quickly as the previous one, unless you get one that can handle the extra current.

see those wheels look fantastic on your car
they look shite on the e38
Discovered a few things:
-I'm having traction issue in 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears
-My 275/45/17 nt-05 aren't up to the task
-My ecu has been running in openloop since the caps leaked and we replaced them and fixed the board. Running no o2 sensor doesn't even throw a code OR put the tune off (monitoring with the safc II and my wideband).
Billet 6262 is amazing, full boost @ 3700rpm all the way to 8000.
Can,t wait for the weekend to install my megasquirt ms3

Well then here is your best bet.
Seriously looking at getting a track car.. Though I may give in to tracking the Passage... on one hand its too rare for track... on the other, its already too race car for the road..
Stripped a thread in the cylinder while fitting a new exhaust to my bike, meaning it's out of action for another week. Ughhhh
Yus
New wheel on the left.

Digging the new wheel, where'd you pick it up?
Digging the new wheel, where'd you pick it up?
Junkyard, 25 euro.
Looked online, $200
The leather took a bit of work to be nice again, saddle soap and shoe polish.
Some of the color has gone away so in the sunlight you see a bit of a brown hue in spots. Otherwise it is perfect.
The wheel itself is from 1988 anyway.
I was wondering if I shoud put the pad around the horn or just leave it exposed.
