Well, it is in Baumholder, Germany. It is quite the drive.
But they have a lot of wheels there, hub included with the wheel. Mine had some type of bmw hub supposedly but I had to damage the hub to get the wheel off since the last idiot cross threaded the screw on one of them.
Maybe evilskydiver can help you out with shipping one over, or are you maybe interested in buying my old one?
Finally got my sound system B+! Only took a month to work around bad grounds, poor mounting locations, space constraints, etc. Here's what I ended up with:
4 Channel 400w SSL Amp pushing 2x 5.25" MB Quart Drivers with 1.5" tweeters, along with 2x Kicker 3.5" full range speakers.
Monoblock Planet Audio 1500w amp driving a 12" Infinity Reference 1262w DVC sub in a compact Sony enclosure. Mounted the amps, ran the wires, and even bracketed down the sub for once. Usually I just leave everything floating around in there.

I'm designing a window sticker for my car for my favorite place to drive. Not really the car itself but it is something for it.

This is my first pass on it, there's a lot of inconsistencies in width but I'll work on it more tomorrow. Too tired to focus enough to the fine details but I seem to have the basics down. I'll probably just update this post with the finished product.
I thought my draft in photoshop was alright, but thanks to adobe I can spot my errors, but I'm not that great with paths. Guess now's the time to get that worked out for both programs.
God damn I hate waiting for parts, I wanted this mustang gone last week so I can get the coronet, I even have a buyer lined up.
progress!

So my windshield wipers would work 24/7 with speed settings, no way to shut them off, so we pulled the fuse for them to be the last thing we even worried about. Took apart the switch and cleaned the selector contacts with some carb cleaner and WD-40, wiped it out with some paper towels. We followed the wires over from the switch on the turn signal switch and high beam selector to a box behind the glove box (now you can start getting an idea of how fucked up Ford's wiring ideas were: from that box the wires went back over in the dash to the steering column and out through that hole to the fuses under the hood after running through the in-cab fuses. Then up to the motor mounted in the center of the firewall. Talk about wasted wire)
Regardless. We tested the continuity of each of the wires going into that little box and there was NO power going through any of them at all at any time. Weird, whatever, that box is probably our issue my step dad says. Se he decided to take it out and see if there's any burn marks on the PCB in the box or blown caps. Nope, nothing like that. Put the box back together, plug it back in and suddenly my suddenly my windshield wipers work normal. I don't fucking understand what we did to that box to make it work but I'm not asking questions. It works, and my step dad is gonna weld my exhaust all together so it'll pass inspection. I'm doing my insurance tomorrow after work, DMV to register it on tuesday, then hopefully inspecting it by Friday for parties all weekend. I'm done with the truck finally.
Now come the mods to make it how I WANT IT.
Packed up everything needed, put my car in the shop, going back tomorrow early morning to begin the work.
Annnd then the GTP engine is coming out tomorrow. Time to get that lope down low.
Did brakes on a friend's car. Drums are a neat puzzle. And hitting the with a sledge to get the old drums off is neat too. Cheers.
We normally used that method, hit em four times moving in a circle and then used two flat heads to pry em off. Fuck rust.
Megasquirt installed and running
we got a pretty decent tune done
I need to fix the voltage drop at the fuel pump otherwise 85% duty cycle is achieved with wastegate spring pressure.

De-vacuum on the CRX

Still a lot of stuff to cap, I had to plug lines. Now I can probably get away with washing this thing since all the leaky vacuum hoses are gone, and no water will get in the engine. Also need to grab some carb cleaner and get after the intake and carb, they're sick nasty looking. That's what 270,000 miles does to a carb though.
bought a forester tarbo
Eh, I was still bored today since I have a couple of days off and none of my friends are off work.
Did some carb cleaning since I was using carb cleaner to find vac leaks anyways. Used up the rest of the can turning the dirty carb into a slightly less dirty one.

You'll have to forgive me for that check valve and cut vacuum line at the front, I flipped a check valve around to use as a temporary plug. Going to try and pick up some plugs tomorrow when I go to the salvage.

Decided to start my painting process. I undercoated from the plastic trim line on my truck down to try and stop as much rust as possible. Gonna pick up 3-5 more cans, do the other side of the truck, more coats, as well as the bumpers. Then after inspection I'm going to rattle can the entire truck flat black.
This is the goal, only with my electric mirrors instead. And I'm gonna do the chrome on the back of my mirrors in black.

I feel weird enough just seeing Subaru's and 73-79 Chevy trucks in the junkyards, im glad i wont be seeing any of my personal cars in a yard.
Though, it is nice when i look on the dash and see 250-300k+ miles on the Subaru's. I usually try to find something, even if its a small part, to take from them and add to my car
Very anxious to get my health back in order and start parts hunting again

Deeps, you ever hear of POR-15?
Its this rust sealant stuff, I used it when I restored my 72 Chevy C-20.
Pretty much you just take a wire wheel to it to knock the loose stuff off, then clean it with a water-based degreaser/cleaner, spray some metal etching stuff on it, and paint over it with a foam brush, then you can paint over that or whatever you want.
I used it on all the body rust, the rusted parts of the frame and cab mounts, and also the entire bed. I also painted the whole back half of the frame with a silver por-15 outer coat stuff, it looks really nice.
POR-15 is so lovely!
