Incredibly expensive, I looked at it for my coronet and was like 'lol fuck that I'll just paint it well'
Drilled, tapped and helicoiled the cylinder on my bike for my "new" exhaust, it's so much smoother now. It used to stutter at low revs with 1/8th throttle.

If you treat large portions of the body its pretty expensive, but if you just treat already rusted areas and rust vulnerable areas (fucking bottoms of fenders), its worth it.
I used the $20 'starter kit' to take care of a decent amount of rusted spots on two cars.. and that's like the size of a baby food jar.
I would say like a half gallon could probably do the whole undercarriage of most vehicles.. maybe not huge ones, but midsize.

I liked chassis saver better 2 layers

This is my first pass on it, there's a lot of inconsistencies in width but I'll work on it more tomorrow. Too tired to focus enough to the fine details but I seem to have the basics down. I'll probably just update this post with the finished product.
I thought my draft in photoshop was alright, but thanks to adobe I can spot my errors, but I'm not that great with paths. Guess now's the time to get that worked out for both programs.[/QUOTE]
Take it into illustrator and make it a consistent stroke of line! it'd look better.
4 puddle lights was the job of the day, today!

Today's great happenings.
Found out none of my brakelights worked, again....
This happened even though that my running lights and turn signals worked fine, which threw me off.
Found a blown fuse, well alright they are 24 years old anyway. Replace it and it blows again.
Great...
So far traced it to my drivers side taillight, don't know why it is doing that though, may be the circuit board.

How. The flying fuck.
That is awsome. Did you put the filter on the outside of the reflector?
They're little LED projectors with different filters you put on top of them!

Cheap as heck on ebay!
On the Jetta the door trigger ground was in the door, and a strong enough ground to act as a switch for the lights to turn on and off, and there was a constant 12v wire at the window motor that provides power for them. Nice and simple. Cars without door courtesy lights, or without a legit ground door trigger in the door require pulling wiring into the car and tapping the courtesy lamp circuit. Not as fun, hehe
Went to Borellus' house, went to salvage yard, found the filler panel off of an '87 CRX and slapped it on the '85 since it's debadged and didn't have any brand/model writing, and I'm not a big fan of debadging so... eh. Went in well, there's a small chip out of the R but I think I can remedy that with a paint marker for now.

Then me, Jap, and Borellus took a three hour round trip to pick me up another toy, since I had some spare cash.
This is all I have to show at the moment.

Shelby? Tell me it's a Shelby.
$500 doesn't buy you a Shelby Daytona, unfortunately.
Machined the 50oz section off our flywheel for the mustang, took 3 hours but its a lot better now, didnt have to wait 3 weeks or pay $300 for a new flywheel this way. Should have it running and have burnout vids tonight.

I attempted to reroute the antenna on my crawler. Stock position was back right, and where it was put it inside the bed. The way it was pushed the bed up 1/4" on that side and i really didnt want to cut a hole in the bed.
The Raptor body originally had an antenna on the front right, like on a real truck. I started rerouting it, but the antenna is made out of a very stiff, brittle wire. It snapped.
So, I took some sort of flexible wire i had. I routed it back to the stock position, but got rid of the part that made the body lift up.
Now it has a hidden antenna;

Works about as good as the original, as far as i can tell. Though, my 9v in my controller is about 3 years old and barely powers the remote so i cant test how good it truly is.
Rear shot, showing the body in its new spot;

So last night my friend called me.. his 95' Impreza alt/ PS belt broke 3 hours from home, in Milwaukee.
Today when I got off of work at 5 he STILL didn't have it fixed.. so I drove down, put his new belt on, and then freaking drove back home.
6 hours of driving, for 10 minutes of putting a belt on his car.

People keep telling me I should get some rims, but I actually kind of like the black steelies.
The OEM/Steelies on it look great imo; maybe polish them or clean them up a bit. Don't let anyone tell you to turn that into a ghetto/gangsta mobile.
[editline]25th July 2013[/editline]
Also, just for shits and giggles you ought to get a brush guard to make it look like an undercover. :v:
Make erryone around you paranoid.
>internet tells me shops will charge ~10-20 $ to press my bearings on
