[editline]25th August 2013[/editline]

I started laughing because the distortion at the end reminded me of space invaders sounds.
Haha. Yeah. I need to invest in a GoPro. I told myself I'll buy one in a couple of weeks maybe. If I don't blow the money on Megasquirt instead.
Cleaning up wiring and whatnot in preparation to get the engine out of the GSi. Got all the important bits gathered around the engine so it SHOULD start without being in the car. Hoping to have it out and running tomorrow.
Changed the O2 sensor had super scary panic moment when the old one broke in half before i Removed it and i thought I'd have it stuck in there 4ever. Was going to clean my IAC, took a '1 hour nap' at 4, woke up now with my alarm turned off next to me in the bed..

Lately I've been having weird sleeping patterns after I've cut back on my Dr.Pepper killing.
More work on my wheels. Woke up late today and note feeling the best, so i didnt get much done, but atleast its progress. Left is done, right is the one i just started sanding; [t]http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/7817/i7m5.jpg[/t]
What did I do today? NOT MUCH Got news my mom was being admitted to the ER due to a heart attack wile at sixflags with me. (5 days ago) [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/Img%20Dump/2013-08-22%2013.06.27.jpg[/t] I got the beetle in the shop using the 4 wheeler, and poked around in their. Couldn't make her cough. Said fuck it. I went to O'Rallys to pick up shit. Fuel Line, Fuel Filter, Sparkplugs and a Throttle Cable. Went to Chilli's afterwards but noticed a slight ticking noise. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/Audi/2013-08-27%2020.21.41.jpg[/t] w.e first puncher in ANY tire I've ever owned. Ill just get it patched. Got home started to eat my order of Boneless Buffalo Wings and half order of Texas Cheese Fry's. NOMNOMNOM *ohfuck I dropped a wing* slid the tray away from me and I store my dip in the top so when I pushed it, it went over my knee's and dumped into the floor and on me. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/Audi/2013-08-27%2021.16.34.jpg[/t] Yep. Fuck you day. Fuck you. Ima go sit under a rock for a few days until I can not make a mess eating.
Went and finally transferred ownership of the Supra to my brother today, on the way home we stopped at Autozone. We'd both been meaning to change the oil in our cars, and I needed new headlight bulbs and wipers too. Bought all that shit, and some more MMO, and when I left the store some guy pulled up in an FC rex and started asking me about the Soup. I guess he used to have one too, I told him I had just sold it to my brother. We chatted for about 10 minutes and then he went inside, and my brother and I left. Took care of all that and noticed the back tire on the Sentra is low, again. I filled it up maybe 3 weeks ago. Put a tire gauge on it and I thought the gauge was broken. Checked another tire and it read 30psi. Looks like I gotta go get the tire checked, it's a brand new tire too. It replaced a tire that went flat. My brother and I were going camping for our birthday tomorrow, but it rained last night on our way home from work, and the weather was iffy today, and it's forecasted to be iffy tomorrow too. :\ [editline]27th August 2013[/editline] Oh, and the real estate agent from the bank is visiting tomorrow. Oh boy I can't wait.
I sticky taped (clear kind so I can see things) the right mirror back on my Elantra. Also figured out how to adjust the position of the back seats (there was a button UNDER the seat, can you believe it!?) so uh yeah I'd call that a pretty successful day. [editline]28th August 2013[/editline] Seriously though, that button eluded me for months. Glad I can put the seats down now.
Had my head shaved and resurfaced due to a burned out valve, and naturally had a valve job done. They painted it black and made it all pretty, cleaned the rocker arm assembly, and gave me a set of push rods and lifters and all for $275. I got a $60 gasket set, and I put the head back on with my dad in about an hour, put the rocker assembly in and all the new rods and lifters and then adjusted the valves to stock settings, set the timing to 8a, and bought all new vacuum lines and a new pcv valve for $4.00. I put my valve cover on that I painted and made a weird breather with part of an old breather and a new one, and some hose - it's temporary till I find a breather that is open element to match my custom made air cleaner. Then I rebuilt the carb and set it back on. I'm averaging about 18-19 mpg now as well. Well, it's built like a truck. :v:
Dump that leaning tower of power and throw a big brock in that dort!
Sixes are cool.
If i ever swapped it, id put a 318 in it. Its not a race car and it gets an awful lot of attention already. If anything ill build the six up, 4bbl it, and drive it till ot hits 1million miles. It ran with 5 cylinders and a fuel leak for 5k miles and drove on 4 cylinders for a good 30 miles to get it home. Its reliable and i like that.

"washed' the jeep (Sprayed it with the hose up close to get the layer of loose dirt off of it.) Cleaned the inside of the wheel wells/fenders/bed panels real good though.
what
whoops I mean car, or whatever he has.
whoops I mean car, or whatever he has.
Its a 1968 dodge dart
Installed parts store special power steering pressure hose. Changed a 1989 rubber hose too; was falling into crumbs in my hands. Also removed a broken flush bolt from my throttle body plate. Just sprayed it with PB Blaster and tapped it with a small flathead and it just rotated out so easily. I would have hated to drill that thing
Its a 1968 dodge dart
I love your wart
I got closer to finishing racecar, I put in the dash panel and mocked up all the gauges and the computer mount and shit, and I want to fucking HUNT and KILL whoever made the wiring harness because like none of it is intuitive and half of the wires are too short and shit and its just awful :( I also worked on getting the suspension in order, but I still need a couple shocks and I need to install the jacobs ladder on the rear. Then I'll pull off the body panels that are mocked up and spray them black, then put them back on and go racin'! [editline]29th August 2013[/editline] will have pics of the sexy beast tomorrow!
Looks tidy! Did you get it blasted?
No I've done everything by hand since I'm not exactly wealthy :v: [editline]29th August 2013[/editline] I consider it kind of a birthday present to myself. I turn 22 tomorrow (30th of August).
