Is the inspiration for your name some Pioneer headunit?
if i told you i would have to kill you
if i told you i would have to kill you
Oh I see [sp]Guys, it's some Chinese headunit, not Pioneer. He's just ashamed of it.[/sp]
Tacked a 4140 homemade spacer onto the remains of my driver motor mount (that I busted last week). I'll finish the season with it and replace it this winter (solid motor mount is a must now)
The inspiration behind my name was the Bradley GT II I would have just used my real name but it wasn't as cool
is the inspiration for your name a printer?
Nope, but it's still bad.
Puttin on that clutch yo. Fuck off flex plate Put the oil in the spigot bearing, and squeeze both ends till oil comes out the sides (yes it will come out the sides its BRONZE!) Ram it in, not too far. Start it with a wood block. All important flywheel, make sure its torqued to specs. Clean it real good. That stick makes it so easy. Clutch cover needs to bolted down too. (bolts onto flywheel) Huzzah!
I hate all of you who can bolt the PP to the flywheel prior to transmission install. I have to do it through the inspection cover and slave cylinder hole, it is a pita
What's that stick? I've always got clutches with the little plastic deal to line the splines up to mate it back to the tranny. did you homemake a spline shaft?
Looks like the handle for a shovel.
Took the Lincoln to the in-law's and got the sheared off bolts removed and re-threaded. Now I can remove the drivers seat and take out the carpet
Looks like the handle for a shovel.
Just some dowel wood turned up. Now doing the pedal box, it's the biggest bitch of all.
Refinished my winter wheel this afternoon, they're better like that than with their previous peeling and ugly corroded alloy finish.
That looks nice as hell man also tore out the carpet, seats and center console. The center console is going to need the mounting brackets sanded and painted because they're rusted so bad. Next we've gotta order the new carpet and install that. But before any of that gets done we need to find out where the hell the water is leaking in from. I suspect its something to do with a gasket on the passenger cowl. A lot of town cars have been reporting the same problem so hopefully that's it.
Started my turbo replacement today, didn't have enough time to finish: Old turbo that will soon be replaced with a shiny new unit: [t]http://puu.sh/4MU2L[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/4MU35[/t]

Worked on the Kingquad 300 some. Basically just doing a good inspection, checking everything over. Removed the cheapo walmart headlights that didnt work, lenses shattered when i touched them. The screws that were on them turned out to be ones that were missing elsewhere. So i put those screws back in the right place. The back rack had one of the frame bolts loose, could tell because it was squeeking. Tightened it up real quick, no more squeek. Right side foot platform that was added on was loose as fuck. Investigated, the main bolt was barely on. Tightened that up, much better. On that same platform, the old owner tack welded a foot platform for a rear passenger. Was weak as shit, accidentally broke it off. Glad its gone, looks much better and theres much more foot room. I also put in a bunch of missing plastic pop things, cant think of the name at the moment. Its slowly coming along. Didnt have time to do the bearings or tierod ends. In exchange for my friend letting me use his garage, i help him out with things. Tonight, i helped him add rock sliders, a rear bumper, and a reese hitch to his Polaris Rzr. He got a pretty good deal on a huge package on craigslist. Ended up getting the rock sliders, front and rear bumpers, reese hitch, solid roof, solid steel doors, adjustable racing shocks, and SS wheels with Terracross tires, bed extender, all from the same guy.
Welp I started my car this morning and had a very unhealthy idle. went up and down from 250-1000rpm's Has done this most of her life sense I've had her but today it was to the point were I will now take off the throttle body and clean it. THIS IS GONNA BE FUN PLEASE GOD HAVE MERCY. [sp]the throttle body is up against the fire wall[/sp]
why not run some techron in the tank and see if that magics your problem? only like $6 or $8 a bottle
why not run some techron in the tank and see if that magics your problem? only like $6 or $8 a bottle
Well... After inspection about 2 months ago my entire intake hose is lined in this BLACK SHIT. On top of that I 1qt of Lucas fuel injector cleaner and spread it into 3 tanks. Nothing ever happened except it got rid of a clink on my top end.
Fluctuating idle, first thing first, have you though about a vacuum leak?
Fluctuating idle, first thing first, have you though about a vacuum leak?
Mostly all OEM lines, so its very possible the 9 million miles of vacuum hoses this bitch has good possibility one of them might be shot. But if I run the car around the block and warm it up it stops. Shit I should replace them any who. [editline]11th October 2013[/editline] I walked back their and gave it my up most best to remove the throttle body. I broke more allen wrenches. I'm gonna have to buy a allen socket wrench based thing it looks like.
Do your vacuum lines, they are probably dry rotted.
Some guys said I wasn't jdm enough but since I am the high king of skyrim I went full jdm with a eGay Towhook PLEASE DISREGARD THE DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY CAR :C :C :C
Vey good, vey good.
That actually doesnt look bad. Is it red? Im partially colorblind and really cant tell if its red or black. I didnt do much today. Spent lots of time driving. I did end up finding some scrap green plastic at a store that recycles things. Paid 30 cents for a plastic silverware tray and a big tupperware lid. The color isnt spot on, but its close enough to not look bad. Ill be using them to finish plastiwelding on the KQ300. Got home, was too late to head to the garage. So i decided to practice plastic light restoration. No before pics, but heres after; [t]http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/6903/1aqi.jpg[/t] Does anyone want this thing? Back when we bought that Galaxie, we found this in the trunk. Think its from an 04 Corolla or Camry.. its brand new, the yellow tag is from a dealership. I wouldnt want much for it, i think i looked up the price and its like $100 new, but i wouldnt need that much since i got it for free; [t]http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/913/5kli.jpg[/t]

Wtf? Did you like take out all the bolts on your car and forget to put them back in or something? Having a few little left over parts is fine, but that's just insane.
I went to a swap meet, dear lord at all the red necks but here's the one that stood out the most : [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/Canon%20T3i/IMG_0022.jpg[/t] wile I was their THERE WAS NOT A VOLKSWAGEN PART ANYWERE NO WERE! So I raged and spent 10$ on rags. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/Canon%20T3i/IMG_0028.jpg[/t] Laster that day I went to a festival and rode in the back of a cop car because I parked my car 2 miles out and it started raining. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/Canon%20T3i/IMG_0023.jpg[/t] [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/Canon%20T3i/IMG_0026.jpg[/t] Thank you nice cop. No one bitch about blurry photos the img stabilizer stopped working on my lens.
