Nope, had to change the driveshaft sleeve because it was broke too..
unbolted whatever you'd call the metal plate that bolts to the floor to cover the hole for the shifter.
and the one of those that covers the hole for the transfercase shifter
and then looked at all the mud and said 'im done for tonight'

PLANE OVERLOAD
Step dad walks into shop " Wha.... Wh. Were did you get all these planes?"
I respond "Uhhhh I dunno they just been sitting around in afew different spots for afew years... Never really touched them."
(3 were missing from that photo because no room to put them)
I wish I had that many planes.
[editline]28th October 2013[/editline]
I do have an EasyStar clone though, and I made a tricopter.

tri-copters and quad-copters are really cool but every time I try and fly one I cant see what side is what and crash it.
And really all I can say about gaining planes on a buget is wait for them to crash.
The orange one some one crashed and I pieced it back together.
The Icon A5 some one fliped it upside down and ruined the reciever, and 2 servo's. He gave it to me cause I retrieved it with my jetski.
The Yak-54 was a insurance win.
The T-28 Trojan Navy edition was some one got it stuck in a tree and I retrieved it after they were gone.
hehehehe Some times I don't play by the rules.
[editline] ithgmh[/editline]
Garage sales and flea markets can also be a huge score
I found both a Blade 120 SR and a Blade CX2 for 20$. (300$ worth of shit)

Orange spraypaint is pretty handy for marking which direction is front (or back, in the case of my tricopter, because there's only one in the back). I don't need to lose orientation to crash though.

I bought a blade CP+ a few years ago for like 30 bucks
In fact, a crash is the reason my tricopter is out of commission right now.

aaaaa I wish I had a heli that could go upside down :(
I'm going to fix my tricopter when I can 3D print a new center piece, which means I have to wait for my printer. I can't wait until I have it working again though.
aaaaa I wish I had a heli that could go upside down :(
I've only gone inverted once and i was scared of crashing so i barely have been upside down. kinda lost interest in it because of how it rapes your wallet when you crash stuff like it.
Doing rear brakes on GF's S13. Using needle-nose pliers to back up the piston into the housing. Pliers slip and stab holes into the rubber seals. Fuck my life local stores are closed and have to special order the seals.
Fork over $50 for a new rebuilt caliper. What. At least her car will have new rotors and ceramic brake pads all around.
On the way to her house, a hater Prius tries to brake check me. My brakes are solid now and I just stop at the knick of time. Aww yeah

Just remember, the guy with the prius probably has full coverage, and unless your in florida you don't have to worry about that no-fault bullshit. But still, you wouldn't want to go through that/be without a car for X amount of time.
We are currently going through the no fault bullshit.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck

And my car is both old AND abused
dp im sorry but that audi was like decent and now its ruined
DP dude, almost every time I see a pic of your daily adventures, you practically always have the whole frond end of your car removed. Is there some fundamental design flaw with Audis that requires such things?
"Gotta add some coolant today, BETTER TAKE THE FRONT OF THE CAR OFF, just in case..."

AFAIK he once removed it to service something, but couldn't be arsed to put it on again when done.
And when he finally got his ass in gear to put it on, he misplaced the bolts for it.

Muh audi is abused and daily driven... to the point I put around 300 miles a day on it.
Annnnnd most of those miles are doing 100+mph

First time I took the bumper off I had to replace a Thermostat.
Second time I took the bumper off I replaced coolant lines.
Third time I took the bumper off I was inspecting the AC issue, from that on I never put it back on due to I was gonna fix it. Soooo a month later I fixed the AC and the bolts got misplaced so I never put it back on.
BUT GUYS THIS ONE WAS NOT MY FAULT
I SWEAR TO GOD I ONLY PUT 93 OCTANE GAS IN IT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AWILE
but anywho figured out the bolts sheered off and the back one flat came out.

(the 2 leading edge holes are were the bolts go threw the compressor)

Those pictures are exactly why my audi is still sitting in its own muck at my shop. Oh Change the water pump? Pull the bumper, headlights, everything else, pull timing cover, etc... then remove 18,000 bolts attaching the pump to the motor. Not symbiotic. Not fun. That was just one thing. Now that the engine is sitting there.... busted, it can stay that way. It jumped timing and well... it's an interference...
Started a new center console today. Made the new version way simpler. And it just holds two drinks. Later it will house the three gauges floating above it and a small 5" gps screen.

It's 3/4" MDF with a wrap of 3/8" ABS plastic that goes all the way around and shapes to the hump. Carpet will drape off the sides like the old school consoles these A bodies used to have.

I would fucking love to figure out all you have to replace after valve-piston contact.
I would fucking love to figure out all you have to replace after valve-piston contact.
Pretty much any expensive part that isn't the block.
Easier to nab the engine from a similar car that's been rear ended and dumping it in his derelict one.
