What kinda speakers??
Pioneer?
Sooo today I got a new plane in the mail.
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/IMAG0282.jpg[/t]
Assembled it and shit took.... 5hrs because friend was over and we were bullshitting.
I just got done like 30min ago and wanted to do a test flight (night) So I told my friend to hold a spot light to it wile I fly under a street light.
I launched it, it did two barrel rolls to the left and nosed into the ground. Result 1 broken prop.
So I threw my spare prop on it and tried again I was thinking I did not get to the controls in time to counter act the torque roll of the plane.
So I relaunched it and about this time I saw it pitching left I gave it full right aliron and she still did a half of a roll and crashed into a fence. Result 1 broken prop and a sheered off left wing.
No more 8x3.5 props in stock...
Ima have to throw a tantrum if I can figure this shit out. IT SHOULD FLY STRAIGHT
AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGG
So I spent half a day trying to figure out how the hell to remove my gas tank to replace the fuel pump.
I just gave up today and I'll try to finish tomorrow. I have to wait on my replacement fuel pump anyways.
Fixed plane.
Gave it some fucking overkill servo's (Hitech 82MG's) and some overkill pushrods.
Played magic on the motor.
Now it flies. Went to local hobby shop bought a 8x4 prop lasted for afew flights untill the fence got the best of it.
T______T
I need to get me a fucking 3.17mm PROP SAVER.
And tomarrow Ima go fly my bigger one in the middle of nowhere with my wittle generator to charge my battery's.

So basically the cheapest you could get locally that wouldn't crumble apart like the stock papercone speakers?

Well if the internet is local, then yes.

It has a motor, wheels, spoiler, and optional lights.
Sounds like a car to me.
Plus theirs not a devoted RC thread in maker mates, their was a random one some were in GD but Ive not been able to find it.... Plus we do have a few RC Hobbyists here in GD so w.e

You could always make one. I am sure people would be interested in it in there, but I am sure if you continue posting in here no one would mind.
Also I put this on:

There must be a way to access it through the trunk/rear interior area?

Why not? They're festive, and halloween just happened. Skillertonz!
Dissapointed in the lack of cool 12" subwoofer grills available, and I did not want a chrome one that looked like a 24" rim...
SO...
I made one.
Busted out a piece of scrap 14 x 12" pvc board.

Planned and laid out the design and made a nearly perfect pentagon and star (Pentastar logo) that fit over a 12" (total diameter of sub) circle.
Then started cutting.

Cut off the sides a-la tablesaw

Found a weird piece of aluminum that I cleaned up, then cut into 1 1/2" sections to space the grill off the face of the subwoofer.

Test mount to a piece of plywood...

Cleaned the whole thing up with 320 gritt to bring the white finish back. I'll refine the shape later - since it's not perfect, but it's fine for now. May paint it later. Not sure.

I had that one once... it was a little like 2 inch long egr vacuum line that had completely rotted out, lol
I had that one once... it was a little like 2 inch long egr vacuum line that had completely rotted out, lol
I wish it were that simple. My egr system it a bit complex, it uses not only the valve but a solenoid valve and sensor combo along with vacuum lines. The ecu basicly uses the solenoid valve to regulate the EGR valves vacuum amount and if the ladder is not working right the egr sends the ecu an "I'm not opening enough" code.
The EGR valve is fine, it's the stuff that controls it that's finicky. And it's a pain because vatozone only sells the solenoid and you gotta wire up the connector yourself.

90 bucks isn't TOOOO insane a price for such a small part, it's just I don't have the cash atm and I have to order it. :suicide:
Nagged some 3000k 35w HID's in my fog lights (Hate all you want :v:)
Normal left, hid right.

Itd look a lot better in white if you ask me. But ive got color issues anyway, cant see for shit at night when using yellow headlights. Switched to my considerably brighter white lights, and i can see much better. Even up close where my old lights did fine looks 10x better to me.
I havent done much lately. Cheap ass air compressor is having issues, ive been working on that. It is an oiled one, and the plastic oil drain plug/sight hole broke. The head came off the threads.
Tried a glue/silicone fix, didnt work. Tried a plastic welding fix, didnt work.
Ended up melting plastic into the drain hole. Works okay, lose maybe 1 teaspoon of oil every few days. Before, itd piss out 1 qt in 10 minutes.
I emailed the manufacturer on Saturday, no response yet.
If i dont get a response before too long, ill talk with my dad. Its only $120 for a 2hp 8 gallon compressor, and $150 for a 2.5hp 10 gallon one. I only use it to fill tires, but its nice having the option to use an air tool if i really needed to
My headlights are white as you can see, they are what lights up in front of me. The color range of them is 5000k, gonna switch to 4300k soon, both of them are as white as you can get and have the optimum light output you can get.
Fogs are of as an appearance thing and they are useful in night snow falls, pretty much it and it those situation, yellow is the perfect color to see under snow/fog. Thus my pick as 3000k, 3000k are less "bright" than 4300-6000k, but as their purpose is to be used during fog/snow, makes them perfect. No reasons in having super bright fogs, they're not gonna be helpful.
The halogens I had in the fogs were just too dim, with the tinted fog lights, now it's perfect with the 3000k, not too bright, but brighter by a lot than what I had, plus they look better.
So my set up is ideal (Even thought I'd rather do a retrofit in the low beams with some morimoto h1 projectors, but I don't really have the will to put 300$ for that.)
Okay so I write estimates for a pretty large body shop here. Last week I wrote a 28,000 dollar estimate on a 2014 Porsche Cayanne Turbo S with 1900 miles. It needed 75 different parts in total, no biggy, order them from porsche right? So a week later they deliver, them in the back of f-150s. not a nice box truck then unload it. Once they're done unloading they leave. From there I proceed to check in parts; turns out we're missing two, one of the new frame rails and some clips, no biggy again I'll call them and get them to send them back out. So i call the dealer, turns out one of the 900 dollar 4.5ft long frame rails FELL OFF THE TRUCK and got ran over by a semi on the way to our shop. why didnt the driver tell us that? andddd they sent me another one, it was the WRONG FREAKIN SIDE. On top of that they're dicks; bitch please we just dropped 15 grand in parts in your dealership. Next time we'll order from out of state.

Ahh, i see. Back when i had foglights, i used them when going threw the woods. They had a lot wider beam than my headlights and helped light up the closer bushes.
Bright fogs would help with the way i used them
3000k's are still way way brighter than halogens (Look at the comparison picture), but for my use yellow is better than white (From my experience in the midst and fog while going to work in high altitude.) That and I like the look better of yellow fogs versus white. So I'm pretty happy of these lights.
But headlights must be white for me, which is why I go 4300-5000k for my HID's, since they're the brightest.

Oh that's weird... have you checked junkyards? maybe they would sell you the whole thing and probably for way less than 90 bucks, lol. Or maybe if there are any communities for your car, since I know it's pretty common for people to just entirely delete the egr system...
