You're not even a good poster.
Just ordered both Serenity and whole season 1 on bluray and some calvin and hobbes firefly t-shirts and a hoodie. I am prepared to be a hero.
I liked how Halo 3: ODST was like a Firefly reunion.
after listening to yahtzee rant about how joss whedon can only write one kind of character, even if he was bullshitting and arguing for the sake of arguing. like even if he didn't actually believe that, it sorta seems to stand out when i watch it now.
don't get me wrong, i like yahtzee, but i'm not a cocksucker and i can think for myself.
really, beforehand i loved the show. after serenity came out i watched it all on sci fi cause all sci fi did for a while after was play a bunch of firefly. then i just sorta stopped even thinking about it for years. then just now serenity is on like netflix instant or something and i've seen the yahtzee clip by then and i notice he is sort of right, the variance of personalities is somewhat maybe even incredibly narrow.
i just realized this now, why i don't like the show anymore.
Hahaha. Why have I never seen this before?

Matt: "Okay, you hate Joss Whedon. I love Joss Whedon. Your opinion doesn't win just because you're angrier."
Yahtzee: "Yes it does."[/quote]
:v:
Firefly is the only Joss Whedon thing I like, but I don't at all agree on that. It's a huge blanket statement that doesn't really apply to, well, like half of the show. He's just watched some stuff, made huge generalizations that are barely true, and they just sound true because he's defending his opinion angrily.

That's basically how Yahtzee operates.
