Wait, Top Gear in the US is different than Top Gear in Europe? [editline]3rd November 2010[/editline] Oh well that sucks, I was looking forward to it too, hearing how good it was and all.
LOL to the Species
Well, They got Stig from a farm where they "breed" Stigs, So guess that he is not entirely human under the helmet

I really don't care for top gear US. No one can replace Clarkson, May, and Hammond. Harmony.
I'm giving Top Gear USA a shot. It has the potential to be a good show and I really hope it is. But from the start there are 3 things wrong with it. 1: No matter how good it is Top Gear will always be better. 2: I can't imagine TG without Clarkson, May, and Hammond. They really do make the show. 3: Unfortunately, it will probably be 'Americanized'. It starts on November 21st so fingers crossed I guess.
There is literally no show that keeps me as interested as top gear.
It will be a sad day when they stop making TG.

Taken from Wikipedia:
The show's presenters are professional racing driver Tanner Foust, actor and comedian Adam Ferrara, and Rutledge Wood, an automotive and racing analyst.
oh boy a racing analyst! Have fun america!
I'm not going to watch Top Gear US. I'll just watch Top Gear re-runs.
Taken from Wikipedia:
Tanner Foust? Oh, this should be pretty awesome i think, he used to race (maybe still does) with Travis Pastrana and Ken Block
Maybe it would have been better if they named it something else, because it'll always live in the shadow of the original.
Think of it this way: TG is like Coke (or Pepsi if you insist) because it's classic and you never get tired of it. TG: Australia is like Diet Coke: associated only by name but not nearly as good. Fifth Gear is like the off-brand Cola you buy at a supermarket: even though they may seem the same to some, only the true connoisseurs can appreciate the original. Then there is TG: America. That is like Coke Zero or Pepsi One: it may look the same and taste the same, but it doesn't have the same formula for success like the original does.
Except Fifth Gear has no relation and never claimed to be like Top Gear. [editline]4th November 2010[/editline] Also, James May presented TopGear in 1999, never knew.

clarkson looks funny in the <1992 episodes
Yeah his hair is so crazy.
it's probably just like top gear australia a.k.a terrible
Top Gear Russia works ok, in its own weird Russian way, but I still think Top Gear US will be a disaster. [editline]4th November 2010[/editline]
oh boy a racing analyst! Have fun america!
No, he's a NASCAR analyst.
"Hysterically some stigs think they can write books but thats never a good idea." Video of the Stig farm along with the new stig. http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/stig-farm-exclusive-2010-11-5
I love the crack at Collins in that clip.
Tanner Foust? Oh, this should be pretty awesome i think, he used to race (maybe still does) with Travis Pastrana and Ken Block
Tanner Foust is gonna be worse than the nascar analyst because every time they go to do anything involving driving a car he will immediately try to drift it.
Watched the Botswana episode for the first time in ages last night. Just awesome. OLIVERRRRR
Adam Ferrara is an acclaimed comedian, currently starring on the Emmy-nominated hit FX show Rescue Me and recently appeared opposite Kevin James in the theatrical feature Paul Blart: Mall Cop. A regular comedian on various hit talk shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, The View and Rachel Ray, Ferrara has been dubbed "hilarious" by Entertainment Weekly and is a two-time nominee for best male stand-up by the American Comedy Awards. Adam's favorite car is a Pagani Zonda F Roadster.
I feel sorry for you America.
America gets a hold of another great show from across the pond and.... ....RUINS it At least The Office isn't so bad, and if they even think about re-making Black Books I'll rage
America gets a hold of another great show from across the pond and.... ....RUINS it At least The Office isn't so bad, and if they even think about re-making Black Books I'll rage
Don't most people consider the American version of The Office to be superior to it's UK contemporary?
They've ruined TG though. Nothing can amend this travesty.
No doubting that. Didn't they attempt this earlier in the decade too? That failed miserably.
