I do miss the awesome challenges like turning a car into a rocket. It seems like they haven't really had anything like that in the last few seasons.
I thought that particular challenge was totally stupid
Now I can't wait for this episode, love watching them do these kinds of challenges.

Agree? Disagree?
not really
I don't really agree with the order, and I think the 17 year old challenge episode should be somewhere in there

I say the best is either the america, africa or vietnam special.
Bolivia, Vietnam and Botswana are definitely my favourites
Vietnam is the best, because Jeremy was in so miserable in the beginning. I died laughing.
Vietnam as well.
"DARCY!"
No. Just no. The concept of the show is that it seems semi-scripted. I see nothing wrong with that. It's still very funny even when they're trying to be.
I get annoyed by similar 'reviews'. A lot of people were moaning about the E-Type celebration being over-stated. That was the point. They were making up for the lack of publicity and making people proud of a British icon.
I do understand that yes it is obviously scripted, since it has sky-rocketed in popularity granted it's going to change and they are going to trying to entertain the less car savvy people who just watch it for the jokes but I just feel that they have swung too far that way. Also I had no problem with the E-type segment I thought it was quite good mainly because it was something different my issue mainly lies with things like the arbitrary challenge segments and endless supercar tests. I still like the show but I feel they had the best mix toward the beginning of New Top Gear.
Go watch 5th Gear then. If they reviewed family saloons and people carriers it would be boring as shit. It's an entertainment programme not factual.
There is actually an in-between the two extremes of supercars and people carriers you know? Just because it isn't a Ferrari doesn't mean it has to be boring, for example the test Jeremy did 2-3 seasons ago on the Ford Fiesta or the one on the Twingo they were just your standard hot-hatchbacks but they were still entertaining to watch because of the things like the chase through the shopping centre but were still proper tests also with Jeremy giving his verdict at the end.
Anyway that's just my view on it I know most of you disagree. I still think it's a good show, just not as good as it used to be.
You know what? I don't care what Clarkson thinks but I would definitely take that MP4-12c over a 458.
speaking of the mclaren, it looked like some of the footage came from forza 4

I have watch quite a few videos about the 12C mainly because I'm in love with their workplace, it really does look like that, its not from a game, everything is white it's being built in a brand new factory.
I've seen the McLaren Clarkson drove in person. It was at the Festival of Speed in Goodwood.
Never seen anything go around the track that smoothly
BMW 1M

Last episode was pretty meh.
In my opinion.
Is it because it was about cars all the way through?
Yes, because it was all about cars i will never see myself buying...
Yes, because it was all about cars i will never see myself buying...
Well some of those 7k cars were pretty nice.
Well some of those 7k cars were pretty nice.
My idea of a nice car is something both powerful and can go anywhere, this is why i always go with 4X4's

Fuck yeah, challenges.
The fact clarkson and hammond pointed the 7k thing out expect never to find a deal like that anywhere ever again for the next 50 years. Everyone is prob looking now

Just finished watching all of seasons 2-15 on Netflix. It was awesome.
