Yemeni origin, now a spicy staple in Israel due to Jewish Yemenis immigration. Not a hot sauce, but a mash. This thing is amazing when combined with cream cheese, but will destroy you if you put any more than a light drop.
I've just tried the Tabasco Habanero sauce, and I've got to say, this is much better than the regular. I really like the mango flavor to it, reminds me of Amba.
I once drank half a bottle of tabasco.
Wasn't that bad in the end, I love the taste.

speaking of which, I started replacing my usual skhug additions with Arisa and Filfel chuma, Filfel chuma tastes nearly like arisa only not as spicy and has a more mashed texture than the rugged one arisa has
Arisa:

Filfel chuma:

Wow, the Habenero sauce is so good, I literally put that shit on everything
Today, I made a hot sauce from ketchup, mustard, vinegar, Sriracha, and Worcestershire.
It was delicious.
A guy I work with makes his own sauces with Bhut Jolokias or ghost peppers or whatever. He brought some with him once for everyone to try, all I did was dip a french fry in a little and I was drooling and my mouth felt almost numb for 15-20 minutes.
Once we did a hot sauce competition in which we had made a type of chocolate lava cookies, but with a super hot sauce inside (I think it was a concotion of crazy jerrys & nandos extra hot for texture)
You can also get substances "hotter" than pure capsicin too, like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resiniferatoxin
My supply of Tabasco has been replaced by this stuff:

It sucks it's not even spicy, at all. This thread has made me curious to try some of the really spicy ones.
I just got a hot sauce 5-pack for christmas.
My bottle of Original Death Sauce finally arrived by mail!

And....
meh.
I mean, don't get me wrong, the flavor is amazing, but I expected much more of a punch. Maybe i'm just too used to it.
But as I've said, the flavor is pretty solid, my favorite so far, but don't expect too much of a punch- It's just the right ratio of spice for flavor. If you want something meaner, you might want to order something a bit higher on the scale.
As for me, I'm ordering Sudden Death as we speak.
Wow, looking at this thread makes me feel like a pussy for only enjoying Frank's Red Hot sauce.
My gripe with some of the hotter sauces out there is the longevity of the burn, I really like it initially but I don't enjoy deep-throating fire for 2 hours afterwards.

Picked this up at the super market last weekend, pretty enjoyable in my opinion.
Hottest sauce I've had in a while, Rates at 180,000. My little brother said he could take the heat, so I gave him a droplet of it and he ran out the room screaming.
I'm such a big hot sauce fan, I love to try any home made stuff, but my go-to for Mexican dishes is Pico Pica

Tabasco is my morning hot sauce, the vinegary taste is nice in the AM.
My friend bought 2 bags of dried ghost peppers and we each ate one.
We very nearly died.
Now I have 2 bags of dried ghost peppers and nobody wants to eat any.
If anyone wants, I could mail them a few as long as they record themselves eating it and I can put it up on youtube.

BTW, might want to update the OP with this:
http://www.scottrobertsweb.com/scoville-scale.php
It's a much better list (it's more detailed and has pictures) that compiles a variety of different hot sauces, peppers, extracts and their tested Scoville heat rating, from sweet bell peppers to Blair's 16 million reserve.
Quite handy if you want to order a sauce online, it'll give you a clue about how much pain you'll have to endure.
I was talking to my mom about chili a while back and she mentioned how they had a cook-off at a school event (she works at a school). Some dumbass thought it would be a brilliant idea to use a substantial amount of pure capsaicin in his chili. An unfortunate judge tried the chili and had to be taken to the hospital.
Wow, there are some stupid people out there
I mean, most pure capsaicin comes with clear warning labels against this very thing happening
So, as a previous post on this thread stated, I ordered Blair's Sudden Death from eBay a couple of weeks ago.
But for some reason, I got this instead-

Yup. Blair's Ultra Death.
After some thinking on whether I should open this or not, I eventually just said "fuck it" and decided to try it out.
Just a drop the size of a pea on a tortilla chip was enough to set my mouth on fire like no Tabasco bottle can.
After that, I wanted to test my mouth a bit further to see how much I can take, so I poured about a little less than a 1/3 of a teaspoon on a chip and tried again.
I've heard that people say this sauce tastes like shit. I don't know what they're talking about, because I don't understand how you can taste anything while your mouth and throat are on fire.
In terms of taste though, It's not that bad for an extract sauce, nor is it very runny (I love my hot sauce to be as fluid as ketchup). I would advise any novice out there not to try this if something like Tabasco feels anything more than soft to you. I would also recommend to try something lower on Blair's scale (like Original Death or After Death) before trying this one.
In summary-
Heat- At 800,000-900,000 SHU, this is fucking hot. As in, 1/2-a-teaspoon-in-a-pot-of-chill hot.
Taste- Pretty good for an extract sauce IMO, but because of the small amounts you need to use it in order to bare the sauce, it's not really there.
Texture- Thick, with chunks of pepper in it. Excellent for spicing up chili.
If I had to give it a rating, it would be 3.5/5. Taste is impressive for an extract, but the heat is just too much.
A guy at work had a bottle of this stuff last week.

I dipped the tip of a plastic fork in the cap, yes the cap not the bottle, and put it on my tongue. It felt like I had a blister in the back of my throat for nearly 20 minutes. It also smells and tastes awful.
I had a death wish on Saturday.
Normally I hate hot sauce and all things related, and a wimp when it comes to the stuff.
But I just had to ask for the hottest stuff they had. It was 8,100,000 scovilles.
If you're considering that mega hot only for a dare shit it's worth it but holy shit that was awful.
After reading most of this thread I'll stick with my Sriracha, thanks. :v:

I don't even know why you would want to use anything like that
I mean, with a few drops of ultra death, I managed to make an entire pan spicy
With that kind of stuff, a drop will kick my ass, and it probably tastes like shit too
What's the point if you can't moderate it
Yo! I heard you guys like cooking! Well it's time to man up because even I don't like spicy food and hot damn, hot sauce is just so damn awesome I can't help myself! Let's start with
some classics! You heard me right! CLASSIC
The hottest one I've ever had was The Source... It's fuckin hot! One bottle lasted me for a whole 6 month deployment; just about every enlisted Marine and Sailor on board tried it and suffered. I also used it every day in VERY small quantaties. This equals about 2,000 or so people that got to suffer from this one little bottle! One little drop can burn a bunch of people's mouths if they just barely dip their fork into it to put on their food. I think seeing that many people sweating and freaking out was well worth my $110. Right now I've downgraded to Da Bomb: Final Answer. That shit is still really hot too!

I don't know why anyone needs a thing that strong. I'd imagine more than a drop or two would pretty much make anything spicy extreme.
