Love Muse. They are electric live. Was lucky enough to see them at Wembley a few years back and it was without a doubt the greatest experience of my life so far.
Blackout has awkward lyrics but excellent instrumental, thus my favorite
How does it have awkward lyrics?
Don't kid yourself, And don't fool yourself, This love's too good to last, And I'm too old to dream... Don't grow up too fast, And don't embrace the past, This life's too good to last, And I'm too young to care... Don't kid yourself, And don't fool yourself, This life could be the last, And we're too young to see...
All i see is someone describing life, love and then you die, if you think about it, it's quite a depressing song.

It can have some awkward first impressions.
Just saw them at the Perth Big Day Out. Pretty awesome, 1 hour and 20 minute show.
One of the few British bands I like. The Resistance was a great album and the Exogenesis: Symphony bit was pretty cool I thought.

Muse is one of my absolute favorite bands. Too bad they wont be on Spotify anymore.
I saw 7 Pounds a few days ago and it had Feeling Good in one of the scenes. Seems more and more movies are using Muse.
Anyone else prefer their first albums to The Resistance?
Anyone else prefer their first albums to The Resistance?
The resistance had some gems, like Exogenesis, GUiding Light, and United States of Eurasia, but it had some really weak tracks too. Absolution is my favorite album.
I heard that when they first tried to record USoE they could not help laughing.
That sounds like the first time I tried to listen to United States of Eurasia.
I heard that when they first tried to record USoE they could not help laughing.
Haha, yeah, it's pretty retarded, in an awesome way.
anyone else fallen in love with sing for absolution? i cant stop listening to it and the music video is awesome for it.
My favorite album would have to be Origin of Symetry. [editline]07:58PM[/editline] Oh damn, what was that film that used Darkshines in it?
I'm really liking their new B Side "Prague"
when i zone out and stare at the optical mindfuck i kind of enjoy the droneyness of it and the underwater feel of the guitars and the buried vocalssss
Going to see them in 2 weeks in Philadelphia, anyone else going?

I think we should get this up and running again.
muse are so four years ago
I don't know weather to get mad at that or take it as some inside joke.
My brother got me into them about two weeks ago and now he's taking me to a concert on Monday, good band.
My brother got me into them about two weeks ago and now he's taking me to a concert on Monday, good band.
Oh you lucky son of a bitch I WANTED to go see them LAST NIGHT, but the tickets all sold the fuck out while I was at work for every fucking sale. Fanclub sold out when I got home from work AmEx presale sold out when I got home from work General public sale sold out 30 minutes after they went on sale, when I woke up. And then I had no money to stubhub the tickets. Fucking shit x.x

[editline]07:58PM[/editline] Oh damn, what was that film that used Darkshines in it?
Yeh, Origin Of Symmetry is probably the best. So many amazing songs, like Bliss, Hyper Music, Plug in baby, New Born etc etc. Has anyone else heard the songs Dead Star and In Your World? Two songs that weren't released on any album, but both have video clips, coz fans loved em so much. They are great songs
Deadstar kicks ass also, take a listen to Glorious which was only on the Japanese version of BH&R.
Dead Star
i saw them in boston last night and holy shit they were amazing. they put on the best show i'd ever seen. silversun pickups were good, but muse just completely blew them out of the water. there was this one drunk guy sitting in front of me who was completely freaking out when silversun was on, and when muse finally came on he kept screaming and jumping around. then he passed out in the middle of resistance and didn't wake up until the middle of stockholm syndrome and spent the rest of the show sitting and using his phone for some reason.

Damn there are so many good B sides that should be on the regular album. Nature_1, Map of your head, shit like that....
