Muse are a band that make me proud to be British! Easily one of the best British bands there is. I've seen them live twice; once at Birmingham and the other at the new Wembley Stadium where they sold it out! Fantastic live, fantastic in studio; a clear example of what bands should be like. Bliss and Knights Of Cydonia are my two favourite songs, but I love all of them. NO-ONES GOING TO TAKE ME ALIIIIVE!
Also, Apocalypse please.
I like the Muse song that was in Guitar Hero. :D

Nice thread! I recently discovered Muse to their fullest extent and they've soared on my Last.fm and on my mp3 player. I love Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. Much less Black Holes and Revelations, though. I hope the next album doesn't follow that trend. Favourites: Citizen Erased Shrinking Universe Plug in Baby New Born Darkshrines (and just recently) Cave
They get played a lot at 99X
This band is the best. And yes they should be still alive Edit:
Knights of Cydonia. And I will master it on expert, sometime, in the near future.
Too slow i already did :D
Saw Muse at Wembley Stadium. I await the day I go to a gig that can beat that.
God, I never went to a muse concert. I really need to see them.
Come on boys, don't let it die. Has anyone paid MuseWiki a visit? It's great, it has such a massive knowledge base on the most trivial of matters to do with muse. http://www.musewiki.org/MuseWiki. Matt's guitar got fucked over, he split the body in half. It wasn't just a case of breaking the neck from the body. Check it. I've been a fan of Muse since 2001 when they released New Born, it was the first song I'd heard by them and instantly got to like them. I heard Sunburn on a CD at a relative's party and then decided to seek them out and start listening to them more, then I asked for CDs on an upcoming birthday, something I've never asked for before. Until I started listening to Muse I'd never been a fan of music, random radio listenings and other people's CDs just floated around me with me having little interest. Up until a year or so ago, Muse where my only favourite band, at all. If I where to talk about favourite bands, I'd only ever mention Muse, sure I liked other bands and their songs but Muse was my absolute primary. Come not too long ago and I started opening a bit more, accepting The Killers, Foo Fighters, Radiohead and Coldplay as also my favourite bands, but Muse where still very on top. But quite recently I've come across a band called "Aberdeen City" and holy fuck they've gone right to the top of favourite bands, it takes me a while to like stuff but they just went right up there. I kinda feel asthough Muse still kinda are my favourite but only really because of the length that I've liked them, but all I've been listening to recently is Aberdeen City. So I just want to reccomend from one massive Muse fan to probably others, Aberdeen City: http://www.aberdeenmusic.com/index1.php (click on Music, you can download some) http://www.myspace.com/aberdeencity And here's a video that uses one of their songs and has gained a massive amount of popularity, mainly due to the song and that most people hadn't heard it before (the majority of comments have been about how the song was good).
2001 for me too, I had a spare £5 in the record shop so I bought origin of symmetry because it had a good front cover.
OH YES! OH YES! this thread is made of pure WIN! i love muse. Absolution, best album
This new one they're making will be interesting, Matt said it's going to be more electronic/dance oriented. Edit: Ok, I guarantee nobody here can tell me who this man is.
I've only really liked Muse for around a year now, but they've got to be my favourite band, and I doubt that'll change. The only album I had of them was Black Holes and Revelations and I had heard other songs on music channels and adverts such as Hysteria, Time is Running Out, etc. However this Christmas... Kerching! And they're more awesome than I originally thought. Also notice the poster in the background I picked up in the sales.
I saw them here in Finland! GREAT SHOW! :D
Butterflies and Hurricaines is one of my favourite songs by Muse.
However this Christmas... Kerching!
Be sure to pick up Absolution as well! I prefer it to Black Holes. It's quite a bit like Origin of Symmetry.

Well, what genre are they?
Well, what genre are they?
Why does it matter? Just listen, if you like it - you like it.
I saw muse at sheffield and wemberly staduim :D.
Well, what genre are they?
How about you actually read my post? Its Rock.
Saw them live in 2006. They weren't very amazing. Iron maiden beat them.
I don't really like their songs. When you start hearing him breathing inwards after everything he sings, it's the only thing you hear. :geno: Knights of cydonia is nice though.
How about you actually read my post? Its Rock.
Whoa, your post did not say shit about what genre they are, unless you just edited it recently.
Saw them live in November 2006. They were amazing
I fucking love Muse! :excited: I found them a while ago and they are quickly becomming one of my favorite bands.
Muse are the greatest.
Thank you so much for introducing me to Muse.
