Exogenesis Part 4 woooooooooooooo it doesnt work. it's a zip which opens a single file. not .mp3, not .wav, just a normal file. I added the mp3 root but it didnt play.
It does work.
Was listening again today and relised that I like them more than The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I like Showbiz the most(album)

And the original albums sound different from the old, but all is muse.
So I saw Muse last night, and I think Matt was being a bit of a twat. Chris started to play this beautiful piece on the Harmonica as an intro to Knights of Cydonia, and the entire crowd was hushed, and respectful, BUT HERE COMES MATTHEW BELLAMY RIDING A SPOTLIGHT AND DROWNING OUT THE HARMONICA WITH THE CHEERS OF THE CROWD. Also, I think it was at the end of Hysteria, Matt broke into this improv and at first Chris and Dom were going with it, but then Chris just shrugged after five minutes and stopped playing because he had no idea what the fuck was going on anymore. It seemed like Matt was just doing whatever the fuck he wanted while he was playing. Half of the time he wasn't even playing the actual song, he was just improving big chunks of it. tl;dr Matt is a bit of an attention whore
Well yeah. But he is modest about his Piano playing. he say's he sucks. And I'm jealous of you for seeing them. Now I always knew Matt was an attention whore. Just look at what he does compared to the rest of them. He's always got the most impressive parts (at least most of the time) while the others play something cool, but not as great as him. They better not break up over it.

He's the lead, and perhaps the most talented one of the band, but that doesn't really give him the right to hog the spotlight whenever it's not on him.
i still love chris and dom the same as i love matt
Got to see them play in Nashville recently. One of the best shows I've been to. Definitely check them out if you get the chance.
Seeing Muse in Phoenix and Vegas this week.

When Chris came out with that thing I went fucking nuts. I'm sure most Muse fans took note of Chris's harmonica part, even if Matt's guitar part near the end drowns it out mostly. It's to get the crowd riled up for KoC.
In line right now outside US Airways. About 20 people in line with me as I type this, they aren't in the building yet but we'll surely get to meet em'. 8 hours left, 3 hours until they let us inside.
Seeing them tonight in Pjoenix, like Alex. I also suggest you add some of these videos to the OP, OP. Whenever Muse is told to lipsync, they say "Fuck you" in a very special way. The funny thing about the first one is that Matthew Bellamy isn't singing and no one knows shit about it. Chances are it has been, since this thread is 2 years old.
In line right now outside US Airways. Think I should get going earlier?
There's a huge line, I'm about 10th in line inside. Merchendise is selling though
There's a huge line, I'm about 10th in line inside. Merchendise is selling though
thanks for the tip. Rated heart, and am heading to my car :coolbeans:
Free music guys: http://board.muse.mu/salvation/ Gotta register, but that's pretty quick, no?
ahahahhaa
I'm in front row, if anyone is coming, its front left corner near Dom's tower. You can see everything
God damn the show was fucking amazing Half of the air in my area was weed, and I watched through the towers of plexiglass, but it still blew my mind. Silversun Pickups opened for them and said "If you care about your brain, leave now. Because Muse is about to blow it out of your skull" They did :3
God damn listening to "The Resistance" this morning was awesome. It was a good way to stay in bed dreaming semi dreams.
Was in front row, amazing. Matt was playing right above me. Silversun went from meh to fucking awesome in my book too. Giving this thread a bump and adding that Muse is fucking awesome. The next time they're around here I'm going to see them again for sure.
Muse is coming on stage here at Coachella in 5 minutes. [editline]10:20PM[/editline] Just as a tease, I picked up the Exogenesis vinyl. Only 2,000 were made, I believe 400 were shipped off to the US. This thread is never allowed to die. Also, HOLY SHIT NEW N.Y. DATES ANNOUNCED I'M DEFINITELY FUCKING GOING THIS TIME.
Muse FTW. Their new Anti-NWO album = +1 respect
Its 0% Pop, Pop sucks unlike Muse. It's full on Rock. Its very good.
I feel that the term "Rock" has been tainted, for when I think of rock, I think of Led Zeppelin or AC/DC. I think "Rock" is such a generic term. Going through a Rolling Stones Magazine, I saw the "40 Reasons to Listen to Rock." The #1 reason to listen to rock music is the Black Eyed Peas, according to RS. I would say Muse is more of an alternative band that is kind of rock... but I have only heard like, three of their songs.

They're the same people who put Kurt Fucking Kobain in the top 20 (I think even top 10!) guitarists in the world. Rock hasn't been tainted, people have just become dumber. I know some people who call lil' wayne a rockstar for fuck's sake, just because there's some synthtar in his songs now.
I really guess there isn't much to talk about anymore. Maybe some future concerts, but man, I can't put my mind on much.
Undisclosed Desires is stuck in my head. I really like that song, otherwise i don't care much about Muse.
Undisclosed Desires is stuck in my head.
