I just think they are really average.
I think they're really great :D
I was totally into Muse about 2 years ago.. not so much today but I still like their stuff. Origin of Symmetry is their best imo. If you like Muse, you might like Genesis (Albums: Foxtrot, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway) or King Crimson (Red, In the Court of the Crimson King), totally different era but not so different music. :]
I second the King Crimson.
Apparently a collaboration between Muse and the Streets has been leaked. How nice. Also, they announced their new album a while ago, but I think it was unofficial. If it can top Absolution, I will cream myself.

The new album announcement is official now - it's why they're taking a break from touring for a while.
I haven't heard much of Muse, but I've heard at least one of their albums, and I really liked it. I like "Knights of Cydonia" and a few other songs, I don't remember the names though.

I don't think it's as good as absolution or origin of symmetry, but it's still brilliant. Lolballs, double post below.
Ker-bump. Could anyone tell me what Matt is using in the intro to Invincible? I saw one in a shop one time, I can't remember what it's called.
Hells yeah! I was going to bump this thread when I came home from school. Thanks! Also, sorry don't know.
I remember one of their songs being in a Garry's Mod 9 Virus, I think that's when I first heard of them.
The song was Map Of The Problematique. I had that virus too :D
Muse rocks, best band ever by a mile. Citizen erased best song ever! They fucking rocked wembley and glastonbury!
Am I one of the only people that actually don't like them?
Falling Away With You - Not used in concerts, Makes Matthew Bellamy, very emotional.
He played it at the Adelaide concert as a Encore and it was great, i was about 3 meters away from him in the mosh pit and didn't look "emotional".

one of his guitars has a scratch pad on it. you scratch it with your pick and it distorts the sound.

really?
Am I one of the only people that actually don't like them?
Yes you are a a rare and foolish breed indeed.
Well said, Smad. Edit: Either the Music thread has died, or the Muse thread. D:
I'm playing Muse for my as-level performances in music. :keke: Hysteria and New Born. I've pretty much learnt Mysteria in a few hours, and it seems really easy. But a guy last year got full marks with it, so I'm doing it. I haven't looked at New Born yet. How easy is it compared to Hysteria?

New Born, it's not easy either, but same as above. Comparing them is hard, but New Born is harder than Hysteria.
I'm saving up money to buy a kaoss pad.
this has to be bumped. i got a book with muse tabs in it so i practicing them now.
Is it all about Muse or other bands, What book is it?
I can play knights of cydonia, it's actually pretty easy.
I'm going to try and learn the guitar, after a while I'm going to learn how to play Newborn! :D Edit: Muse is the best thing to come out of Teignmouth, it's a shit hole.
it's just called "Muse Absolution" i got another one too "Radiohead Hail to the thief".
I just bought one of their albums, i fucking love them.
good for you.:keke:
