WIP of something I'm doing for a girl. Basicly an eye made of nebulas and other cosmic objects. Her eyes = infinity of the univers blabla I want to fuck her.
I'm not sure about the coloring and I raped some things there and here. This will probably end on a 40x40cm fine-art print or in my HDD's abyss.

The size is good, images of space is usually bigger. Or, atleast my collection is.
Since the pictures are just that - natural pictures with natural lights and colors you could simply keep some of the original color of the nebulas if you don't want it all to be too much of the same. Sure, keep it all tinted teal or whatever, but do also exploit that nebulas hold so much (often different and varying) colors.
Seems like a fun project. Should get a phallos in there to express your seriousness about her. To give her hints, as well.
Also I love the grain! Please tell me how you did it.

I've found even the simplest of sprites come to life with detail and feel way more separated from their environment with a small amount of animation, though I'm not sure how much time you're looking to spend working it out.
Even just minor color changes to make the lights look a bit more like lights rather than solid plastic cones, maybe a bit of blinking to show which character is selected, etc.

It's all about the colour choices, right now you have such a wide range of colours it's hard to distinguish what pixel belongs to what. Reduce your contrast and it will make everything easier to distinguish
what happened to that game? the thread is unactive
We haven't gotten that much done in the past week but we're working on it. Nobody's posting in the thread so that's why it's inactive.. It's not as fun working on a game when I don't get any feedback. We've put in pausing, ingame options, sprinting, view bobbing and some new buildings though

Whoah woah, that's a lot of reverb, maybe dial it down a bit.
But I love the song, it's a catchy little tune.
Does written work like poetry have any place here?

thats pretty cool, but maybe you should add a stroke or something that separates the iris from the white part, or whatever, I cant remember the proper names of the eye parts. and maybe make it a little bit more glossy?
Also if you're trying to win a girl, doing this kind of thing won't help much
yeah the iris should be dark around the edge
-nope-

edit: oh sorry most of the initial lineart for the bike chassis and the graphics were traced from reference - it's a present for my dad and i'm not clued up on the subject matter so spending my time doing studies of motorcycles from different perspectives seemed a waste of my time (of which i don't have much)
Hahah, don't worry about the girl that was kind of ironic: I've already won.
Anyway, I agree about the gloss/reflections, it should be more pronounced. Concerning the dark and blurry edge, there's already one but I will try to follow your advice.
Here's my V2 (size reduced so you have a more global view):

I dont know why, but this section is not as blurred and smoothed out into the white part as the rest of the eye

and all in all it still looks kinda pasty, I'd give it a bit more contrast

Buuuut you didn't say that in the initial post until after I posted this. Very convenient edit. :)
