The left side looks pretty fantastic, and I love that central building, but you made the values a bit too muddy on the right building if you ask me
Nevertheless, great improvement going on

Here's a crazy ol' clown that I might use for a logo or something
Could probably use some critique[/QUOTE]
i like the overall shape and design of it, but the linework needs some work, it's pretty raggedy around the edges at the moment
also if you're thinking about using it for logos you need to consider how it scales, right now everything can be made out but if you shrink it to 25% you'll lose the detailing in the teeth and around the eyes
but otherwise looking good!

Lights from electronic/digital bionics.
I haven't ironed out the entire backstory of these dragon images yet, so whether or not these implants are passive physical enhancements (muscular assistment, built-in weaponry, etc) or more oppressive mind-control systems is up in the air right now.
For the purposes of this image though I'm saying that the implants are just simple physical enhancements designed to enhance the alliance between people and dragons.

Well, now that i look at it, maybe expose the tree in background a bit :v:
Well, I went from this design, which i liked but felt was off:

To eventually this one:

Thoughts? And not just "start over it's bad" this time, because I like the feel of it.
... You moved the bench and put the head on a stick like it's a warning sign by orcs.
You didn't actually make any changes, just re-adjust the composition, so don't expect any new feedback.

So composition isn't something that can be critiqued?
Pretty sure it is mate
Well dgg is right, the stick is terrifying. Now it's gone from a Kanye bear to a notorious serial killer case. IMHO adding a few clouds in the background like the original cover would fill the empty space.

Drawing some eyes behind those shades wouldn't hurt either. Might want to also fix it so that the shades are behind the nose. Not a fan of the glow on the text, nor the font if I am to be honest, and it's simply a bit too plain both in elements and color-wise if you ask me. You wanted to keep the feel of the original, right? Well, the original is full of energy and color. That's the feel it conveys. Yours gives me associations to a speech because that's a podium, right? And it's so brown, it's lacking color and abstraction.
Why is it a floating head anyway?

When the critique before the composition change is "I dislike everything about it", then no, I don't think it will get critiqued.
I think you missed the context of my message since he says "Thoughts? And not just "start over it's bad" this time, because I like the feel of it. "

Ohh, I like it. Reminds me a lot of my friends pen work
Composition is key.

Jokes aside though, thanks for the tips mac. I definitely agree on the adding color/abstraction, and the stick was mainly like a "i can't draw a body and don't know what to do so let's see how this works". The whole thing is still WIP anyway. And as for the eyes, i was kind of going with the theme of the other 2, but since this is a cartoon character instead of a human, i'll check out what eyes will look like.
Here's the other 2 to show the whole no eyes/mouth thing. I considered filling in the "shutter" parts so it looks like the other 2, and i guess that's something to try. We'll see.

Just noticed the shades and the nose, though. I had fixed that, but i guess I fixed/saved it on another file or something. Weird.
It's hard to critique the bear one because for me, there's nothing really that I like about it. I don't like the color scheme and it just doesn't seem like it represents it well.
Like another guy said, the original works because it has a lot going on, the illustration and color isn't as bland, and the background looks better because you can tell it's a sky.
Yours doesn't convey the same feeling at all at the moment.

This is nice, has good atmosphere
The perspective feels sort of odd, but it also sort of adds to it so idk if that was intentional
Good stuff
