what you made it with
Oh right, watercolor.
EDIT:
I am on a roll right now.
Made this mech-like assault robot.

anatomy man.
yeah anatomy
but your rendering is definitely improving!
So.... I bought watercolour pencils on impulse last week and I don't know what to do with them. I absolutely love watercoulour art.
grind them and sprinkle it over your canvas.
I guess this goes here
Is there any way to change the colour of the lasso tool line in Photoshop, i.e. the line that appears around what you've selected? It's grey and I'm trying to clean up an old black and white photo so I really can't see what I'm selecting at all

Theyre just used to define borders and create fine lines as water colors can be very splotchy. You can also draw with them on water color paper and then with a wet brush softly stroke them to to make them bleed into the shapes you drawn, thus coloring them.
Is her nose really that big?
Kind of, I didn't know whether to idealize it and make it slimmer or just keep it as it is.. always conflicted with this sort of stuff when drawing a portrait.
when water colouring, especially architecture, artist's tape is your best friend.
I've been using masking tape, but the paint seems to bleed through. I'll try to get myself some of that.
Thanks
I finished the bookcover and it's available on amazon for kindle (and on computers and the phone app) so erryone buy it!
Is her nose really that big?
Her nose really isn't that big. The image is foreshortened, so it just makes it appear larger. Take a picture of yourself from that angle; your nose probably look about the same size.
Besides, if she has a big nose, then that would make me Pinocchio or something... :c
Mr.Cthrobot, the stock is way to small.. and work on your shading.
Any tips on how I would go about improving the shading?
Finally got my bear picture back from my teacher

Drew a dolphin for a friend of mine who's been having ups and downs and since Valentine's day is approaching, more ups and downs!

This was an old drawing about 2 years ago I first did for her birthday,

A little bit improvement to show, which I am happy for!
I feel so goddamned useless right now.
Don't know why I'm saying that here, besides the fact I have no where else to say it. Here's a page from my sketchbook.

wish I understood color as well as I understand horse's heads. wish I had a work ethic as strong as my drawings are sketchy. wish I had a steady hand and a clear head.

This is great, you're really improving.
I think the main issue with this piece is inconsistency in a few places.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/h6aF2.jpg[/t]
I've outlined a few parts. If I put a +, that means I think that the part of an aspect of the part should be bigger, if I put a -, it should be smaller. I also wrote down some other stuff there.
And to the above person, I wish you would stop bitching and draw more. :P

Thanks. It's like im not even thinking about stuff like foreshortening and the way limbs bend
it looks pretty much completely unnatural

Art is made by me as well.
learnt some basic perspective things today, so i painted this

I see now that the cast shadow from that thing makes the ground look completely flat
The perspective seems completely off for some reason. The horizon maybe should be a bit lower?
Just another doodle I made.

It's supposed to be Garry. Yes, I realized he almost looks Asian.

That might be because the drawing depicts bat country :v:
