Some quick for daily sketchgroup at CA.org.

CC?
God, this is so bad compared to all the other stuff here.
Hey so I'm currently sculpting sailormoon in her transormation form and I'm wondering if I should give her the signature long ass hair that she has or should I shorten it a bit? Reason being because after I bake her, I don't want her hair getting snagged on anything and breaking off since its clay. Unless I thicken her hair? But I really don't want her to have really chunky hair since she's so mini.
I'm also contemplating on giving her a neck.

I mixed the pink ribbon on her body with a transluscent so after its done, it should be see-through.

First one is beautiful, though I'm squinting to read the details. Could use more contrast imo
Second looks like a wip so I won't say anything as yet
Have you ever recorded yourself working?

i decide to colour in a throwaway drawing.
admittedly, the hobo doesn't look properly positioned in relation to the wall he's leaning against.

You can put a wire support in the clay. You won't have to compromise the size or strength.

I like it, but the perspective is incredibly inconsistent. Maybe lay out a grid when you start drawing?
That's a lot easier done if you're working digital of course, but perspective drawings done traditionally are a pain in the ass so I would recommend it
If you are doing something like this on paper, it's better to just stick to full isometric instead of guesswork

my god those handstyles are awful.

Oh god. That would have been a good idea. But I became so restless and impatient with it, I just hurried it up so I could go to sleep.

Maybe next time.
Should I keep my current avatar

Or this new one I made with ink and colored in PDN?

Your current one will do just fine!

Just finished this, dirty mock up, c&c
i don't like how the world is set to multiply
[editline]16th June 2012[/editline]
and TO seems kinda crammed in there and not too well considered
[editline]16th June 2012[/editline]
and the tracking is too high imo
bebas (i assume) is a condensed font, so it should be kept tight
i like the colour though
I agree with that and also question who's going to wear that design
yeah i was gonna say i dont think anyone would really wear that shirt
[editline]16th June 2012[/editline]
i dont wanna be mean but its kinda lame
I made an intro for my youtube channel today.

All visuals were created within Sony vegas.
Too long. Shorten it to 5-3 seconds.
Nobody likes long intros, and especially not if they are almost rid of any actual content or eyecandy.
Take this for example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cH_HMsNXqYY&feature=g-u-u
The bammo intro is shortened to 3 seconds, the intro speech is 4 seconds and the actual intro/logo is 5 seconds.
That's three things with lots of eyecandy effects in the same time you made your text with a wavey background prance around.
streaming in 15 min

the world isn't supposed to be like that, but that overlapping occured when I set the general opacity lower to "fit" with the shirt model. As for the rest, what do you mean by "tracking"?

I dont know, I see a lot of stuff like this on Tumblr or at the mall, so I gave it a try. Of course it's just an idea.

Yeah I understand. I was just messing around getting used to tools and stuff and half way through decided to turn it into an intro. I wouldn't use all of it if I ever do use it.
I will probably use 0:03 - 0:07

oh right, forgot about that. I'll play around with that
Also, here's something I got while playing with a part of the design

How come we don't get to see the sketching in the beginning though? That's the part I'm most interested in, because that's the part I always struggle with.

honestly, it's because I don't feel comfortable with people watching at that stage, it takes a lot of thinking, and I screw up heaps of times, I just don't want to feel pressured.
