Shape of the cloak don't got no flow
both in terms of silhouette and the shading that gives form to the cloth

Ink in progress. Debating whether I should do the marker pass. Thoughts?
I thought that the markers looked neat.
i just got my Bamboo tablet today, this is the first thing i drew:
Made some sock suspenders yesterday:

Doesn't really fit in with my sketchbook stuff so it's not in
there.
I kinda like them but I think they'd look better if the suspenders were off-centre with your shins
my god those handstyles are awful.
probably late in replying.
but when you say hand-style, you're referring to my style of hand drawing or the way i draw hands?
So what else programs to use on Windows other than Photoshop? Just for plain sketching.
More likely free since I am still learning, don't want to spend a fortune on something that i only use every now and then.
Gimp

handstyle usually refers to "graffiti handrwiting". so maybe he's talking about the tags on the wall

Try out Paint Tool Sai, seriously worth the small amount it costs
Trying to make a full size energy sword from Halo. It started out as a papercraft model, then I filled it with spray foam, coated it in resin, and then put auto body filler on top of it. Next step is to sand it down nice and smooth, detail the hilt a bit with a dremel, and then paint it.

and for a size comparison...

Don't fuck it, continue. I like it.
I like the second one best
I think the problem may be that I'm not distinguishing the difference textures.
The body is meant to be really smooth and reflective, the legs are just meant to be metallic, and the black/dark grey parts, aside form the glass eyes, are rubber.
I MUST GO TO THE MOUNTAINS AND TRAIN.
I think the shape of the thingy is the best in the second one

The third one just looks like something from the teletubbies combined with a toilet seat. It's scary.
The second one looks more stylized and has a better shape.
Also, try to stick with a few colors and mix them so it has an atmospheric feel. I just learned how to do this and it's helping a lot.
