I made this out of boredom and had a pretty fun time trolling one of my friends that is a die-hard CoD fan :D
It was all made in Gimp(im on someone elses computer) and so it took awhile, making this my most laborious troll ever
I hope someone else can have as much fun as I did.

Whats up with disagreeing with posemaniacs?
I think its useful. I agree it is different than real life photos but it is directional.

Swans bodies are larger in proportion to their heads/necks. The neck is too thick/long right now.

It's meant to be water, I don't know how to render it well though

Maybe make the water look a bit distressed where it meets the rocks, like you did with the tip of the tail.
The reflected ripples you know?

Water makes ripples or waves (if it has a source of disturbance (wind or something in the water that moves)). Ripples are just lots of thin lines in a circle and waves are just a line that bends up and down.
So just look up images of water reflections and see how it reflects scenery. You'll find a lot of almost perfect or actually perfectly reflected scenery. You'll also see a lot of ripped-apart reflections that has lots of light lines between the ripped flakes of whatever is reflected. Try to simulate that.
One thing you especially need to look up is images of water in caves. Because water does not make jagged edges where it hits the walls. That only happens if the water is splashing up on the wall because of strong wind, in which case you would need lots of bubbles as well.
To give some specifics, the opening of the cave should have the people and rock they stand on reflect in the water because of the intense amount of light falling down there. At least as far as I understand. The waves going over the reflected highlights near the opening of the cave are darker than the reflection, which doesn't look right. First and foremost because the lines are so thick.
Thanks for the informative crit. Yeah it was the fact there was no wind that i didn't want to over do the ripples. I think I just need to up my game and give things more thought as I totally overlooked reflections too. I'll revise it tomorrow :)
A piece I'm doing to say thanks to my 3 favorite senior year highschool teachers.

Wow, after looking at the stuff in this thread I could hear my self esteem drop.
Alrighty, I know these look shitty but me and my friend can't decide which to use for a side project me and him are doing. Rate informative for the first one, rate useful for the second.
