Another concept piece for the internship: Free Lancers
they are generally flagged with the color orange and white armor
Really sketchy at the moment but I hope it gets the general design across.

More to come. Btw thanks to Nidhogg for the pencil sketch brush~ it works well as a texture brush after a few modifications.
That pose on the right can't get more awkward. Also, right pose's left leg looks very odd.

Pretty good, however.

Lol, I guess I need to work more on creating natural looking poses. It gets a bit repetitive and boring having to draw characters in one stance all the time.
I'll try to look for references for the left leg since my visual library isn't enough to conceal the bad anatomy.
Their appearance is very nice but it looks like you rendered underdeveloped sketches, since the anatomy is pretty dodge and the action pose is just so confusing

gotcha, I'll work on the design more to fill some areas then.
Can you clarify the pose's confusion? I want to know where I went wrong unless drawing that pose was a complete mistake to begin with.
Note: I think I know why the pose is off and I'll make the changes asap. Thanks for pointing it out or else I would've missed it.
The rendering is absolutely spot on, though.
did a better version of my last drawing:

think I'll probably try selling that next week.
Its the middle of the night and I'm bored out of my skull. Decided to draw this.

baron samedi! cool
finished this

it's stylized- exaggerated in scale (it's my styyyyyyyle!). i wanted a ginormous uzi.
same goes for the eyes' tiny irises
I really like it, except the hair; compared to the rest it seems a little unfinished. Can't really fault anything else at all though.
it kinda looks like she's wearing a big mask of her own face, like her face is sticking out too far forward or something
i like the rendering though, the skin is done very nicely
the tiny pupils make it look like she's having a sudden realization, or is shocked, or something similar, i'm not sure if you were going for that but i don't really see the point in that
and the text on the left is almost white on white which makes it hard to read the first time
rest looks good though!

thanks. ye, i'm really clueless with hair, so I just ran over it with some rake-y brush and called it a day. gotta look into that.

oh. yes. i see that now. thanks.

thanks! i had, and still have, a lot of trouble with skintones and such, so im glad to hear it didn't come out all too bad :)

yeah that was the point. hence the title. she's in total shock, because while all she wanted to do was to sing some Abba, someone or something has taken control over her left hand, and is currently killing everyone at the karaoke bar!!!!!
thanks!
eh, felt like I was doing this foreeeeeeever, I thought it'd look better

may upload a better photo when there's some decent lighting, if I think it looks any better in the morning
I really dig that
Thanks dude. I really like some of the mark making, but the decoration around the eyes and the wings kinda throw it off. Maybe I'll give it another short tomorrow.

It feels like if you're gonna skew the perspective on the gun so much then the rest of the picture ought to be way more skewed as well. It seems like it should all be much more extreme and exaggerated. Her pose and proportions just seem so bland compared to how exciting the gun is.

And thanks! C:
So, I just saw Dark Knight Rises last night. I don't normally geek out too bad, but holy jeez was it awesome. I'm a big Alan Moore fan, and I love how dark the franchise is. Anyways, I decided to do some fan art. I love Adam Hughes' Catwoman, but I also like this design.

It's a WIP. I tried to draw Hathaway as best as I could but something is still off...
Also, mask or no mask?

So remember the gooey balls?
File got corrupted?
No, I just glitched the image, then started cutting and pasting stuff around.
here's the color version, just out of curiosity

Why are you doing that?
sometimes you get interesting stuff. I personally like glitch art
Glitch art can be cool. But you're just randomly doing it with a work you didn't intend to be glitched.
There is nothing interesting about the dripping balls as they were since they were monochrome. Trying to glitch something uninteresting with only two colours won't really work very well.
Glitch art is usually applied to photos and paintings because they have a lot of colour information to fuck around with and manipulate.
Couldn't sleep this night, so I scribbled this.

the lips look weird
well snip then.

I'd buy a t-shirt with that on it for sure.

It is not an Uzi!
It is an Ingram MAC 10 if anything :D
