Very simple. Your drawings look as if they are zoomed in on. Try to use the extra space that you have to put in more detail. I love pixel art, and this piece is pretty epic, but you might wanna add a but more detail while maintaining the clean style that you have already achieved. Also, the clouds look sorta messed up. The shading on those need some work. Now for the request. Try to do some swamp-ish environment with those red/yellow/orange gas bubbles. I can't explain this further, but feel free to ask. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline] Just take a look at now that it got thumbnailed in my post. Much, much better. Also, the perspective on the houses makes me happy inside. Fix the weird thing in the upper left corner. I can't even tell what it is.

Guess it didnt work out huh? I will bring these hints to use next time i create something similar and, for the request, send me a pm with a bit more detail. Im not really following you with the gas bubbles in question. Thanks!

[t]http://i.imgur.com/vM4SG.jpg[/t] I was playing with this paperclip while reading an article. After a while, I looked at it, and said to myself ironically "What a piece of art!". I threw it on the table and there I noticed the dollar sign in the shadow. Now I know for sure, that I am a true artist, because the God of Art spoke to me this way, saying I would make loads of money with paperclip twisting.
Well that's one way a hipster would put it...

Made this over the course of a few weeks. (no, im not that slow, i just worked very little on it.)
Social criticism of how the corporate world is made up of cheap pieces of shit bent to hell and back to suck out all of our money.
Speaking of stories, it actually reminded me of that one where a guy started with nothing but a red paper clip and traded his way to a farmhouse somewhere Lesson: there's more worth behind the small things we perceive as worthless Yes, the nobel prize of art for me, thank you

Can you animate pixel art much?

Thinking of designing a new avatar; what do y'all think?
Thinking of designing a new avatar; what do y'all think?
Uh......... Just do it?
Hopefully I'll still remember your name but I'll probably forget who you are because I almost always recognize people by their avatar, instead of their username. It's been nice knowing you :)

I made this because I couldn't find the original album art. I'm not hugely experienced in photoshop, this only took me about a minute. Still, C&C? Also I don't think it was an EP but still.
He's easy to remember because he's got a question mark on his name. Also, at first glance the wrappings on the feet blend in too much with the tree he's standing on, making it look like his feet are grabbing the branch backwards and from behind. But other than that, really cool style. I like the design of the character and the colors area really nice.
Does anyone who have a sketchbook know if you should put something over each sketch like a paper or whatever that wont smudge the drawing cause all my old drawings end up getting smudged on the opposite paper and i hate it. Im trying to keep this new sketchbook clean

Everyone else trying to improve is constantly starting new drawings and paintings and gradually getting better, but the majority of things I see from you are cartoon doodles expressing how difficult you are finding progressing, and every once in a while redrawing one of your things. If you really are trying to improve I'm not sure you're going about it very well
Not really sure where to ask this, but if I want to use Photoshop to make someone look like they're underwater, what would be the best way to get that wavy hair effect?
I know I've said it before...but I LOVE Bic pens.
