Hi, this is super corny but I am in a good mood today and seeing all you guys doing art and being creative and learning stuff makes me super stoked. Keep it up :)

edit: I was in a hurry and I didn't realise the image didn't come up. lemme fix that
this is due tomorrow so any crit? to help get myself some useful crit its important to note: ignore the jaw, connection between body and fin, and the small rotary blade housing as they're not yet painted at all (those bits are still straight from a 3d render). it's also not composed and has no foreground elements. the frame being a square is a requirement. im not a painter :(
Offtopic but I bought this cool print from a painter near the Metropolitan last month and thought you guys might like it. I'm going to be taking some pictures and doing some sketches this weekend in NYC and then do some paintings, maybe in a similar style. Finally have a fan system for the game that works well. What do yous all think? Are the controls too fiddly or do you think that after activating levers a couple of times you'd be comfortable with these controls?
this is what i ended up with
Word of advice for creating atmosphere: Remember that, as light goes through water, it gets refracted and scattered, and less of it reaches you. This is actually true for air too, to a lesser extent. Objects that are farther away usually seem less detailed and are less distinguishable from their background. If you darken the color of the back jellyfish a bit, then you've already drawn all the detailed ones you need -- you can add a bunch of silhouettes in the background and the viewer will assume they are the same. I did this kinda poorly cuz I don't have much time, but here's what I mean: [t]http://i.imgur.com/LhK5O.png[/t] I think Feng Zhu described this in a video with some walking mechs, I'll find that later. Also, good job on the rendering the metal.

Here's a bunch of fractals I did these past few days. Most of them are synced weirdly, but whatever. Featuring music from Daedelus, DJ Shadow, Pest and DJ Signify. I can see that being really difficult and awkward if it is.
I'm so jealous of all the amazing work in here. I took private art classes for three years but didn't seem to improve at all. I've always wanted to be able to portray images in my mind on paper the way so many other artists can seemingly effortlessly. I draw all the the time but it always comes out looking like it did when I was 12. I guess I'm just ranting but I got upset seeing all the amazing works in here :/

Cause private art classes are not really that useful if there is no personal practise done aside, for artistic improvement.
