Anyone know how to disable Windows' double-tap function completely for pen/touch devices. Already tried disabling the service and all of the options but this: still happens in when I draw in anything like paint/java/flash based stuff.
Double tap? I think that is done in the wacom driver software thing. If not I guess it should be in control panel and pen and touch devices. Still don't understand why you would disable it, I always find it handy.

Anyone know some good applications for digital painting on Linux? PS isn't an option, obviously. GIMP has awful pressure sensitivity

If you still want to disable it completely; Go to device manager, and disable Wacom Virtual HID or whatever [editline]16th November 2012[/editline] Then reboot

Could use help with clouds and see because I have no idea how to do it properly..
It looks like a huge wave, it gives an illusion that the water is rising rather than the cliff going further in the perspective because the lines in the sea and I think the cliff tops should follow a steeper vanishing point "line", like the bottom. Usually it's pictured that the waterline is nearer to the horizon and the cliffs are rising from that in steep angle rather than them being flat and the sea in an angle.
I think the angle is fine, it's just not rendered well. The sea isn't at an angle, the cliff is. You tried to concentrate on texture rather than lighting and so your hills and ocean look flat and uninteresting. Can you post the reference?
There's no reference... I really have no idea how to paint an ocean or clouds, I look at images but just can't seem to replicate the wave/ clouds and stuff.
Use references.. that's the only way to learn.

Always welcomed.
This is literally "The Scary Door" from futurama [editline]16th November 2012[/editline]
What do you guys think? I think the issue is that the tonal depth doesn't match the change in scale. The distant cliffs and ocean should be much more faded and shrouded in fog
Thanks for the tips guys, I'll show the progress tomorrow. Is there anything that you do like about the paint? :v:

Is there anything that you do like about the paint? :v:
just because people haven't said explicitly that they like something about your painting doesn't mean it's all bad! generally CC will be more people pointing out what's bad and how to improve rather than saying x y z is good. but w/e I liked the rendering and the palette gave it a nice ""english"" mood
Anyone know some good applications for digital painting on Linux? PS isn't an option, obviously.
