Why would someone request a drawing either way?
Either way, another acrylic wip (12''x18''). I dont like how its coming along though... Lots of things wrong about it that would take too long to fix. Camera quality messed up the colors and contrast of course.
did you use a ref?
The sleeves of the coat are pretty big.
I seem to have lost the image I was using for the gear interacting with the clothing fuck.
I guess this counts as creative too since I cut down my Night Desert parka to make it BDU length.
And added pockets.
Sewing is hard yo
Is this a place just for drawing, or can photography be put in here?

Started a picture, but I think that I never complete it. Also, flat textures.

Finish it.

your work reminds me of my earlier work in that your rendering is way way way further ahead than your drawing
there are some really fundamental flaws in your anatomy here that should be fixed before you start painting in the ridiculously fine detail that you're going for. the thing that stands out to me most is chell's giant left shoulder blade and disproportionate man shoulders
also, and i'm one of the worst people for doing this so take this seriously, don't paint, render, and texture one tiny area to the utmost perfection and then move on. i bet you've already got like 4 layers going just for those trousers right? the finished piece will probably look like a collage by the end. this amount of detail could look amazing on a finished piece but i really recommend that you get all the base-colours and value down, then paint in the detail and then do all the textures last
the stuff chesty said is probably the reason you feel like you won't finish it.
actually yeh i started a colour study and i'm sick of it already cos i'm painting it like that

why do i always do that. bleh
bad habit

Something I made in 15 min.
Well, I think it's going from my life paintings. It's easier for me to add details on picture piece by piece, and focus on them, not trying to do a little bit everywhere. And I got all the base-colours in source file, just simply decided that they shouldn't be included in the preview image.
What about the anatomy, yes, she's got problem with shoulder, and I noticed this after making all sketch and decided to leave it for later.
And I think it's also due to the fact that I still can't get used to a digital drawing with tablet from scratch, so for sketch that part was acceptable. But I think to fix it in the process of painting, of course. At the same time i think to enlarge Gordon a little, because I can't accept the fact that Chell is blocking him.
And thanks for the criticism, because it is always helpful.

Just a little sketch of Chell of Portal from a ways back. I've been meaning to take it into photoshop forever now.
Any errors or criticism before I start shopping?
(Ignore the lack of hands, will do that in photoshop)

I don't think that sketch is ready for being touched up in Photoshop. I have seen people here say also that until you get the anatomy correct don't even think about adding clothes or colouring the image. I think that advice applies quite well here.
Random writing for fun:
City in Motion
Two leather shoes, heavily worn with the sock climbing out in several places, kicked the cobblestone of Reddiger Street as a man raced down towards the river. It was slightly windy with the bitter smell of industry riding the air which mixed with the faint smells of coffee from the late night cafes. It was a dark August evening. The kind of evening when the air vibrates around you with extra energy, pulling you to action; when the sky is all too quickly wiped clean of the crimson sunset. It was the kind of evening when the lights in the windows wouldn’t stop you in a rush to mess up your life.
Kirk stopped running at the edge of the river boardwalk and looked up into the spaces between the manufactured overgrowth of brick, iron, and cement budding with electric words; enough to write the history of the world. He could make out the faint metallic shimmer of the steel lattice floating a mile above which made up the GlobeSecure Network. The quiet of night allowed a faint hum to penetrate down to street level; the sound of waves bombarding and tracking each particle in the city. Tonight he was going to kill a man and it was inevitable that at some point he would be captured, but Kirk didn’t really believe he had much choice in the matter. For days he had felt the momentum building in the final stretch of a relay race in which his only position had been the baton passed from hand to hand. Within an hour he was to meet with Dr. Mikael Walitz and stab him with the nanospear resting lightly in his breast pocket.
His chest moving in and out heavily, Kirk shuffled over to a bench saturated in the genuine orange light of a street-lamp and sat down, the boards of the bench creaked lightly under him and somewhere behind him a boat sounded its horn twice. He took out the nanospear and let it twist and turn in his fingers as he inspected it. One prick of the uncovered glowing blue syringe and you could watch your body become like the lazy billows of dust extending down from the busy overpasses which eventually settled on the ground and in the hair and clothing of anyone underneath. Kirk had heard that it was incredibly painful, but that the sensation was so new and odd that some people seemed giddy or excited with the experience; the feeling of your blood growing wings and carrying a message to an infinitely far land.
He raised his head and pushed up the brim of his hat as he heard rubber lightly bending over the stone street. A car rolling slowly, almost delicately, past as if it didn’t know the city never slept; the city’s alarm was always set and always sounding. Kirk glanced down at the chrome rims and saw himself with his face glowing orange and blue, glowing like the city, distorted and warped and perpetual like the city. His face had flashed before him and he had seen the city. He shivered and put the blue syringe back in his pocket. Money had brought him into this situation, but something else had kept him here and now he felt there was no way out; he hated himself for it.
Kirk stood up from the bench and walked slowly along the boardwalk towards the massive transparent black high-rise that housed the employees of Phoebus Corporation. The tower was like a fragment broken off of the sky, each window lit up was a star and Kirk looked up towards the 176th floor where he imagined Dr. Walitz must be finishing up his work for the day, possibly lighting a cigar. He was finished at 11:00 and at 10:55 Kirk strolled up beside the buildings entrance and began to wait with his heart burning cold blue under his jacket.
