One of my alltime favourites.
Live music for me.
Ehh, it's going to sound stupid, but I usually get it from the national anthem being sung at big matches. Don't really know why, I'm not the most patriotic.
I get it at the Russian anthem.
when skrillex drops the bass :v:
This one gives me that nice spine tingle, but also nearly puts me to sleep:

I really liked the last video in the OP; it pretty much knocked me out because I was so relaxed.
Watching Bob Ross really triggers this for me. He has a fantastic voice and paints so well, the sounds of brush against canvas really help too.
I get this from anything highly emotional or nostalgic, usually good anime and older video games It has to be a revelation in a thought-provoking story or a memory of one (music/soundtracks etc.) or sometimes just something beautiful (eg capture sequences in cardcaptor sakura)
This one does it for me every time.
Doesn't really happen to me, but frission on the other hand.
This one does it for me every time.
that handwriting...

I had no idea what you people were talking about until Bob fucking Ross.
The only one that has ever worked for me
Anyone else get it from this:
Does this do it?
Holy shit yes.
This one does it for me every time.
I wish I could write like that
When stuff comes near my right ear, I get tingly like fuck. Many times I just watch videos for the sound alone. For example this guy. His monotone voice and the sounds just make it really relaxing.
fuck I was going to post bob ross, I don't even care about painting that much I just love his voice and attention to detail. I have his whole "Joy of Painting" series downloaded and I always watch it when I have trouble sleeping, it's so relaxing. Holy hell, there's actually a term for this? Glad to know I wasn't just feeling weird... I stumbled upon this guy's review of the Event Horizon Collectors Edition on YT, and his strange voice + constant fiddling and strange caressing of the case gave me that fucking awesome feeling. Whoa, I always thought I was just crazy! I get them when watching action movie/game trailers. [editline].[/editline]
When stuff comes near my right ear, I get tingly like fuck.
You too!? No way! Except it's my left ear. When I get haircuts, the buzzy noise makes my back jump.
It's cool to know that a few people have discovered more about it through this thread. I know that I was really happy when I found out there was a name for it as it enabled me to find a ton more videos.
To me it always happens when powerful music matches up with meaningful video Every. Time. ' happens at about 1:10 and 1:46 respectively.
I have a really sensitive ASMR case. Certain things that are scratching or making a specific sound will absolutely cringe me and make me freeze up. It also works in the positive way; smooth, sudden, and/or loud transitions in music cause ASMR. I know this is fucking stupid, but the Skyrim trailer is one of the few things I can note that does it for me. [editline]5th July 2012[/editline] One of the vocals that get me.
