Spoiler alert the dog wins
If you think about it, it was bound to happen. If DC would let any of their heroes win the race it would offend the fans of that hero.
If you think about it, it was bound to happen. If DC would let any of their heroes win the race it would offend the fans of that hero.
Wait, i'm actually right? I just said that as a joke.
Wait, i'm actually right? I just said that as a joke.
I don't know. I haven't read the issue but I don't think DC would let anyone win. Or they would have to work together to stop a villain and therefor stopping the race. Or simply be just as fast as each other.
Krypto did indeed won. Kid Flash would have gotten first place anyway.
What's you Guys favourite Comic book character? Mine is mainly Batman but I really like Deadpool. I also Kinda like Peanuts :v:
Galan, the "humanoid" individual who became Galactus. "Okay, our universe is about to end. Guys, lets all gather up on a ship and go right into the galactic core. Oh, cool now I'm a god." That wasn't even his plan, he was only planning to go out with a bang.
Doctor Strange and Hulk are my fav. comic characters.
Who was Doctor strange's enemy that bloobly thing.
I just got back form MegaCon, and I've learned two things. 1) Take a chance on unheard of publishers and comics. Some of the best comics I touched were being sold by their creators in the back booths. 2) Mike McKone is a total bro. I asked him what he thought of Liefeld, to which I got the reply "I thought about getting him 'How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way,' but I don't think he'd get the joke."
I've got a lot of comics from the 80's that my dad passed onto me. He bought a lot of X-men comics.
This is from Teen Titans: Year One I think
I never really Liked teen titans. I could get into it though.
Anyone here a fan of the Sandman Chronicles?
Anyone here a fan of the Sandman Chronicles?
never heard of it.
Anyone here a fan of the Sandman Chronicles?
I probably would be if I ever read them. Niel Gaiman wrote both Coraline and Stardust and those two novells are awesome. I've also heard that The Sandman strains over 75 issues and contains some really epic plots (with conclusions), something I don't see often in comicbooks and that really ticks me off (the comicbooks with never resolved archs, I mean, that the publishers just try to milk for money (Spider-Man's Clone Saga is one of these stroy archs gone horribly wrong)). In other news: I read the Identity Disc 5-issue miniseries featuring Marvel villains Sandman, Bullseye, Vulture, Sabretooth, Juggernaut and friggin' Deadpool. It was good but not great. Nothing I would read if it wasn't for Deadpool.
OH SHIT. I love the sandman chronicles. But it has been such a long time. I think I'll reread them.
You shouldn't be surprised that someone recognizes The Sandman. They did actually surpass Superman at one point in sales. What you should be surprised about is that I'm too young to have ever bought a fresh issue of The Sandman. Or that I live in a country where it never was sold (or I don't think it was sold here in Sweden seeing how the title has no translation to swedish).
Batman looks incredibly different in the last panel. Must be all the black making him look chubby. I hate it.

I'm sure you could order the entire collection and have it delivered to Sweden (your English seems to be good enough to understand it). And you're right, I've dissected the first one and am a fan and want to start collecting them (I've skim read the 2nd one and it is awesome, can't wait to sink my teeth into that one). Also regarding the first issue, its kinda funny how Neil admits they were trying new things with panels and what not and it did make it a confusing at until you reread it 2-3 times. The general mantra I've heard with the Sandman chronicles (and I think its true) they get much better as they progress.

I might be doing this if I find The Sandman to be entertaining.
