Ugh, yuck, no. Pornography is made with the intent of sexual arousal. Okay. Who would get off on that? Yuck.
Fuck, people get off of seeing people violently mutilated. Everything is porn to somebody. So how can anyone decide what is and isn't porn? You know, unless it's called Ass Patrol or something. Look nudity is powerful. Always has been. So as you can imagine, it's used by artists to convey a lot of emotions. It can denote power, grace, purity, innocence, vulnerability, and much more. Nudity is one of the most powerful tools in art. So all nudity isn't pornography, yet it is when it's a younger person?

That's probably why everyone's so iffy about child nudity in art.
Because it can be to easily abused. Children can't defend themselves.
These children gave permission and had permission from their parents. If this wasn't the case, than yeah, it could be classified as CP, but since their parents made an informed decision, it can't really be called exploitation or manipulation.

If both parrents tell a child to pose naked it will do as its parents say. Years later the kid might regret everybody being able to see naked pictures of them.

The odds that their parents are art enthusiasts are small; they also spoke to Henson's previous subjects to see if they regretted their nude photos before they made the decision.

I've yet to see anyone complain about that.
What about kids who are forced into sports and end up breaking their bones and shit? I've yet to see anyone complain about that.
Also bad? You cant justify this by comparing it to something that is also bad. That is classified under child abuse btw (forcing children to do a sport) and is a crime.

I like porn guys [editline]07:31AM[/editline]
Something doesn't need to be art to be okay. In fact, that's completely wrong. Some artists intend for their work to push social acceptance boundaries, to be "not okay", according to your phraseology. As to why it matters if something is art or not... Well, there's a difference between a picture and an artwork, an artwork has an intended meaning whereas a picture is just aesthetic.
That is what I meant.
Shoving expired spagettiohs up your vagoo is apparently art. so i guess nudity qualifies as art as well.
Don't remind me. That was so messed up.
Everything in this world can be art. It wholly depends on how you see it.
I believe the stigma on nudity is unnecessary.
So he's a pedo that hides behind "art" card?
The body is a beautiful thing. I see nothing wrong with it, all this shit the goverment and relegion are trying to pull piss me right the fuck off. I seriously believe nudity should be a more public, natural thing.
I hate how America flips out on the whole nudity thing. Is it really that big of a deal?
I hate how America flips out on the whole nudity thing. Is it really that big of a deal?
Except the expo was in Australia. There should be a Godwin's law replacing Nazis with America. [editline]12:06PM[/editline]
So he's a pedo that hides behind "art" card?
I doubt he's a pedophile. He's just appreciating the human body.
I was just talking in general. America seems to flip out on any bit of sex or nudity.
I was just talking in general. America seems to flip out on any bit of sex or nudity.
Like Mass Effect.
I was just talking in general. America seems to flip out on any bit of sex or nudity.
Don't generalize. It makes you look stupid and ignorant.
Exactly. [editline]03:10PM[/editline]
Don't generalize. It makes you look stupid and ignorant.
I live in America, dingus. I've experienced it firsthand.
imo anything can be art, it's just the question of whethter or not it is "good art"

How can you guys go around calling something like that art and not including all porn as art also? What would you say the definition of "art" is?
I came, don't know what this thread is about
People displaying the human bodies for what they are? OH NO! KILL THEM!
I doubt he's a pedophile. He's just appreciating the human body.
Human body of underage girls? Yeah okay
Human body of underage girls? Yeah okay
I saw a teen boy in there too. I also find it an odd coincidence that when reading this thread that "Music is my hot hot sex" comes up in an internet radio.
I live in America, dingus. I've experienced it firsthand.
Hey dingus. You are 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% and probably much less of the human population in America. Your experiences may touch up to MAX 1% of the population. You'll find the exact same people in America and everywhere else in the world. There isn't all that much difference between one first world country and another, the biggest difference comes from eastern versus western region, and then everything else is nitpicky stuff that varies from family to family with morales and culture and such.
protip: anything is art because it is based on perspectives example; you may like it, others may hate it why is it made? because the artist wants to make a statement
