Any 13B-REW car is making north of 250hp and weighs the same as your shitbox ford. 1992 Subaru SVX LS-L *currently at 63,000 miles on the dime* AWD H-6 engine producing around or above (isn't stock and I don't have a dyno) 240hp *stock is 236* 3525 pounds (Yea, it's not a shit bucket) Yes, it does actually have partial side windows. It's a lot faster than people give it credit for. Sure yea, if you go on the wiki and find the 0-60 it isn't impressive but they also aren't making use of the high stall on the torque converter. About like if you gently let off the clutch and roll on the gas with a straight stick. You can bring that down quite a bit. I pulled on a 2000 something WS6 trans am up till he let off. In all fairness his car was dumping a little smoke out the exhaust. I also have a 1990 Mazda RX7 and a 1991 Subaru XT6.
I miss my eclipse :( Driving a 91 skylark, got it for free though, all i had to do was replace the front driver side wheel bearing, luckily it was a bolt on so it was easy work. You can deffinatly notice the British 17 year olds from the American 16 year olds, as the British 17 year olds all drive Ford Fiesta's, Vauxhall Corsa's, Fiat Punto's, Pergeout 106's etc etc. (Tiny little hatchback car's with no more than a 1.2 litre engine) It cost's somewhere in the region of £10,000 ($16,504 )a year to insure that Skylark in the UK!
am i the only person who finds this car extremely sexy
No, I searched for 2 years and drove 1200 miles without sleep to get it. Next to some $200k+ supercars it's my favorite car ever made. It could probably keep up with a few of them too:
LS400 from '94. Someone explain to me why people buy fucking cobalts or other shits for about 10k but you get better performance, features, and sometimes safety and reliability, from old foreign luxury cars that cost about 4-5k?

This is my 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T 3.0 Liter V6 Coupe. I got it from a guy on Ebay 30 miles north of me in Baltimore for $5,000 at 90,000 miles and in great condition. These were the Ebay pics from 3 years ago. Since then I have had it repainted all black again with a fresh coat of MAACO paint due to the shitty factory paint that peels from the top down issue. I need to get a more up to date picture of it showing the new debadged sides. 1997 BMW 740i. One hell of a fun car to drive. It's in great condition, only a couple small dings, runs perfectly, and managed to get a pretty great deal on it. Has a 282hp 4.4L v8 if you're wondering.

Parts would hardly be available and would cost a stupid amount. You'd probably be forever replacing parts on old American cars too. Then the cost of petrol, I bet most of the cars in thris thread won't do much more than 20mpg which will really dent your wallet. Cypher. You have a girl's car. The Ford Cougar is the masculine one, the Puma is the femenine one.
I like it even if it is. I couldn't have afforded a Cougar for my first car, I was lucky to get this one at the price it was at.

buy american faggots
Sadly sam.clarke, That old skylark will prolly drive flawlessly till the floors fall out. Anything newer than 1990 on the other hand. Falls apart just by looking at it. Damn American cars, Quality Is not one of the requirements when they build these things now a days. and they getting pretty ugly. and cars here get crappy gas millage because the price of gas is so low. It's cheaper for automakers to make somewhat larger gas guzzlers, and gas is JUST low enough people don't bitch Enough to Change that. Although tis hell of alot higher across the pond, 3.80 USD a gallon is still annoyingly high with piss poor gas millage. I use 40 - 50$ a week in gas, but Im driving 500km a week for work. And with the layouts/Condition of our roads, Tiny cars suck here..... I hit a pothole on the highway, and put my moms car in the ditch cuz its so light.
rofl what the fuck does your piece of shit run? 15's and top out at 90? LOL
It does about 130. Go argue about your box somewhere else. Boxman. [editline]04:56PM[/editline] Shit no that's the 1.7L mine does 112.

Happy car is happy
Is that jealousy I see?
No, you're just a Mazda Fanboy oblivious to the fact that the front of that car is awfully ugly.
No, you're just a Mazda Fanboy oblivious to the fact that the front of that car is awfully ugly.
I'm not a fanboy. I drive them simply because they're a blast to own and drive. And it's not like it's ugly just because you said it was. You speak as if it were fact, but you're just raging because it's different from anything else on the road. You seem to be weak to change, I suppose. I'm not 'oblivious' to anything. Fuck it, you're jealous. [editline]06:51PM[/editline] Does it look better from this angle?
