Winnipeg Manitoba. I have to say they are Mechanicly sound. ours went 9000 miles without an oil change. and 140,000 miles on the original spark plugs and wires. Thing was a rock. But ya the body is a different story. also hated the handling. Van felt like it was gonna roll when taking a corner @ 9kph (4 or 5MPH)
No one likes my Jeep >'(
Show a picture of it climbing a 50° rock slope and people will respond.
proof fail we never take cameras. DAMN IT!!!!
A short vid of my BMW, it's completely stock, so don't expect anything special.

I have a 09 Toyota Corolla currently.
Are you from the UK? (I'm assuming as the car in the picture is english) and that in the UK there is no such thing as an '09 Corolla. :S
Are you from the UK? (I'm assuming as the car in the picture is english) and that in the UK there is no such thing as an '09 Corolla. :S
On the contrary there are lots Jaguar dealerships in the US. Where do you think i got mine?
Cool, me too, we should party with our cars. :D
More of us here than I thought. If you live in the north end, I'm out driving soo much You've prolly seen me many times.
I'm from the US. Used Jaguars are really cheap here, they can be found around 10,000 USD.
Yeah, that's just chump change.
More of us here than I thought. If you live in the north end, I'm out driving soo much You've prolly seen me many times.
Eh, I'm a newcomer, so I'm not so sure where this north end is. I'm near Shorehill Dr. if that helps.

Ah. We shall have a Winnipeg meetup. XD [editline]11:48PM[/editline] Except instead of having some sort of gay party, we just drive around in a line of kickass FPers. [editline]11:59PM[/editline] Also, go on Xfire or something.
What are the lines on the windows of the SVX?
The lower half is all that moves when you roll the windows down. Nice because it keeps the wind out of your face.
OO nice cluster. ya I basicly have the top end cluster for my car that doesn't look lopsided. 4 circles looks f'd up you should have seen the PCB in my stuff. you look at some of the traces with even a low Watt iron, they'd melt off. Chea chinese boards FTL!
Yeah, I had the same issue with the old cluster, because I needed the fuel gauge portion off to see how it was set up, got a iron near it, and poof, they seemed to evaporate off the board and melt away...
My name is donut.. and this Is my ride I have no car and dont plan on getting one. Bikes are better.
Looks just like this [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/archive/c/c8/20070728174227!1999-Nissan-Sentra.jpg[/img_thumb] Got that beast for $100. Has working everything, except the air only goes on full blast. Had to spend about $800 fixing the bumper, headlights, and hood though...
Yeah, I had the same issue with the old cluster, because I needed the fuel gauge portion off to see how it was set up, got a iron near it, and poof, they seemed to evaporate off the board and melt away...
And the price of cars now with all these fancy electronics, and they expect us to buy that crap with that kind of quality? My next car's gonna be an old Junker that doesn't even have a ECU.
My name is donut.. and this Is my ride I have no car and dont plan on getting one. Bikes are better.
That stage is called denial.
Not my car specifically, I just have one of those.
Yeah, that's just chump change.
For a car that sells at around 50,000 new, yes, it is.
And the price of cars now with all these fancy electronics, and they expect us to buy that crap with that kind of quality? My next car's gonna be an old Junker that doesn't even have a ECU.
I used to have a few cars without ECU's INCREDIBLY EASY TO FIX ANYTHING! It was all simple and made sense, now, I can't even trace a problem unless I'm told what the problem is. I don't have a distributor cap, distributor, or spark plug wires, it's all done by computer - now how am I supposed to fix that if it breaks? The cool thing about Hondas is the engines, ECU, etc... all swap out like playing with legos, they al fit together no matter what. But the cluster, and circuitry seem to have come from the $0.99 store.
I'm from the US. Used Jaguars are really cheap here, they can be found around 10,000 USD.
Thats equates to £6070. THIS is what you get brand new for that money. http://www.whatcar.com/car-reviews/perodua/kelisa-hatchback/summary/23717-5 <3

I entertained myself for about two days with all that. and I've got a B16 swap ready, but I need to have the head machined. its a bit fucked at the moment.

Just a lot of experience. ECUs, TCUs... None of it really scares me any more. Some paper clips, a screw driver, and an electrical multi meter and I'm good to go on practically any problem. After you deal with stuff for awhile you'll eventually get it.
I can't decide between getting a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution XIII/IX or a AP1 Honda S2000. The evo is probably about $3000 to $4500 more than the S2000 but the evo is a 4-door so I can take friends out without have to drive the escalade. I can take Powertrain and SOME interior components out of a Pontiac Grand prix, or Buick Century etc and they literally just plug and play in my car. It's a cheap and efficient way to build things at the factories.
I don't have a code reader. Just a lot of experience. ECUs, TCUs... None of it really scares me any more. You HAVE to get a code reader for codes etc. But they cheap enough now. But it's still usefull if you get a generic code, you can start back probing sensors still etc.
