How am I trolling? 10 hours is fucking short, I could beat that in a weekend. 60 dollars down the toilet.
I'm not some rich asshole making 100 grand a year, I like my games to last more than a single weekend.
What? Dragon Age took me over fifty hours, and I neglected to do a lot of shit. I didn't even know that it was possible to beat it in ten hours.

I heard it was 40-50 hour game time, which is what I consider short.
9-13 hours is pretty good for a linear game
Your standards of game length are too high, hell I thought that 50 hours was a shitload of time, I mean that is several weeks of time for me.
thats 2 days....
shit, I play games for like 2 hours max. Then I ether go do something else, or play a different game.
plus, I don't play games every day.
That's near a month or two for me.
DA:O is a good example. I got it like mid-November, and finished it last week. I took a break from it for about a month; but that's still 3 months of gameplay.. :geno:
Hmm I guess no one agrees.
I guess you guys all have short attention spans and can't focus on one for more than a few hours.
I'm happy with a campaign that's 15-30.
But sweet jesus, spending somewhere around 8 hours(at least) in Orzammar just had me going, "Holy shit... When do I get out of here?"
Of course I'll never finish that game because shortly before the [sp]Landsmeet in Denerim[/sp] my hard disk started acting up and all my saves got deleted.
I'll replay that 24 hours of play when pigs engage in positions from karma sutra while flying through space.
i was kinda sad when codmw2's was very short beated it on regular in 6 hours
If you want a good long campaign, play any of the three STALKER games.
Took me nearly 80 hours to finish DA:O on the first play-through. Still haven't done anything.
Oh and the days I've wasted with Fallout 3 and Oblivion...
Time well spent!
Storyline and re-playability has made leaps and bounds over the early 2000s.
Remember Time Splitters 1, where the storyline was just 9 arcade maps strung together with no pretense of continuity? Finished under half an hour....
Almost every franchise has attempted to expand their narrative. COD is no longer on that oh-so-familiar beach, GTA has given you a reason for your mayhem, and Metal Gear Solid became a saga, just to name a few.

shit, I'm happy with a game that's 6 hours long, considering it's damn good. I enjoyed every minute of MW2, even though it was short. Considering all the times I've replayed it, plus spec-ops missions, the campaign turned out to be just fine IMO.
50 hours, is short? No.
Bioshock 2's 8 hour single player is short.
WoW, longest game time ever....EVER!!! Seriously tho I thought it was pretty long.
thats fuxinmg loooon nnngngg
