Read some of the books, dammit. Some of them are meh, but a good bit are pretty good.
Hey, WH40k books don't warp in front of you suddently, ya know? [editline]10:03PM[/editline] Is there any ilustration of the Talon of Horus? I'm curious to see how it look like
Yes but the Emperor was an atheist, which makes it kind of Ironic that there is a whole religion based off him.
He wasn't an atheist, because atheism implies denying a god that might exist. He simply told people (by "told" I mean "killed") that there was no point in investing faith in anything but themselves. He refused to be acknowledged as a god because his great campaign across the universe was designed around proving to humanity that they were their own best hope.
20,000 years? You make him sound young. The Emperor has been around since 10,000 BC. The chaos gods are only around 20,000.
We're both wrong. Research has shown that the Emperor cited his own date of birth as the year 8,000, and that he was born in "Central Anatolia". He is older than the Chaos gods, though they couldn't be just 20,000 years old, because that wouldn't make any sense chronologically. I don't think there's ever been official artwork which showed it, though.

Chaos gods were born of the Old One's strife between Necrontyr war and them. Khorne from the bloodshed, Nurgle from change, and Tzeetch just went hey guys whats up.
Sweet [editline]10:13PM[/editline] Cause all the pics of Horus show him wielding a sword and bolter/eletric claw thing The ilustration look like in the description, but misses the storm bolters
Yeah it does. Chaos gods were born of the Old One's strife between Necrontyr war and them. Khorne from the bloodshed, Nurgle from change, and Tzeetch just went hey guys whats up.
The Emperor is definitely older than the Chaos gods, which must mean he's also older than the Old Ones. Tzeentch is Change, by the way, but he probably did just go "hey guys what's up", because he's the least orderly of all of the Chaos gods. Nurgle is corruption and disease.

Then after the vain eldar come along, that tranny Slaanesh comes along.
Actually Tzeentch is the most orderly because absolutely everything goes as planned. Even if it doesn't go as planned, it goes as planned.
This is why he's me favorite.
Dude even tricked his own demon that can read the future into reading the future wrong.
You mean the Iron Hands Iron Fists has a light blue-gray with golden arms painting See, I'm learning :v:
Iron Hands are the first chapter to do it but the Iron Fists are just a derivative FROM the Iron Hands that also do the cybernetics thing. Iron Hands are cooler because of the black and white color scheme though. Also they have seniority over the Iron Fists and all the other chapters spawned from their chapter or whatever. They were one of the first chapters in the Space Marines which makes them even cooler.
Dude even tricked his own demon that can read the future into reading the future wrong.

...Who wouldn't like a deity who sends unstoppable Lords of Change (which can read the future and therefore are practically unstoppable by anything) and then tricks them into killing themselves just for its own enjoyment? I always loved the sorcery aspects of the Warp, and Tzeentch embodies them.
:v:
This, the religion to the Emperor is legit.
He is, for all intensive purposes, a "God King".
But I think the Iron Fists' color scheme cooler. Black and white is cool if used right, but their scheme just plain simple and boring
Any race with any access to the warp were created by the old ones. So the emperor was created by the old ones.
I was thinking of the C'Tan. My apologies. e: OK, never mind. Apparently the C'Tan are even older than the Old Ones. And the Chaos gods gained sentience by the year M2.500, or 1500AD. The end of the Middle Ages. Aha, I read the source wrong. The Emperor was born in 8000BC, not 8000AD. That means he is older than the Chaos gods by a long shot. e2: Never mind, I have no fucking clue what's going on. Apparently "Realms of Chaos: The Lost and the Damned" says that the Emperor is older than the Chaos gods, and also that they are older than him. Obviously, the Lexicanum is wrong somewhere along the line.
He is older than them in the sense that he was always sentient. The chaos gods were a bunch of monkeys while the Emperor was being crucified by the Romans.
Dude... It's the warp Serious shit goes down there, it's confusing you with chaotic waves of oblivion [editline]10:55PM[/editline] ^ That too...
But I think the Iron Fists' color scheme cooler. Black and white is cool if used right, but their scheme just plain simple and boring
To you, black and white is simple and boring, to me it's clean efficient and badass.
He is older than them in the sense that he was always sentient. The chaos gods were a bunch of monkeys while the Emperor was being crucified by the Romans.
The Emperor was both Jesus, Mohamed, Buddha, Merlin, etc.?
To you, black and white is simple and boring, to me it's clean efficient and badass.
Note fragment of my quote: "...if used right..."
The Emperor was both Jesus, Mohamed, Buddha, Merlin, etc.?
Lets just say The Emperor was a bad ass mother fucker who could esplode planets with his mind. P.S: how did he get wounded by Horus? was he like stabbed or did he put so much effort in utterly fucking him over that he almost killed him self?
Lets just say The Emperor was a bad ass mother fucker who could esplode planets with his mind. Horus broke his spine. When Horus made the error of turning his attention away from teh emprah to flay a royal guard alive teh emprah asploded his whole existence.
needs more Imperial Fist artwork
Is that a flying baby?:v:
It was Horus' act of flaying an Imperial Fists Marine (not a royal guard) in such a casual, off-hand manner that made the Emperor realise that he had truly lost his son to chaos. Until then he believed that he could save him and so refused to fight. [editline]04:28PM[/editline]
Is that a flying baby?:v:
With a servo-skull head.
Is that a flying baby?:v:
I'm more worried that Space Bananas are attacking us [editline]11:04AM[/editline] Also, How does the Emperor look like anyway? Google images are confusing

I feel bad for him..he nearly died because his dickwad of a son felt like being a bitch.
Is there any ilustration of the Talon of Horus? I'm curious to see how it look like
The Talon of Horus is that power claw he has. Its the thing Abbadon ripped off him after the end of the Horus Heresy.
I feel bad for him..he nearly died because his dickwad of a son felt like being a bitch.
Horus turned to chaos because Erebus of the Word Bearers showed him the future, Horus thought he could prevent that future by twisting the powers of Chaos for his own uses. Unfortunately, Chaos can't be controlled and Horus became the slave. So no, he didn't just feel like being a bitch.
A Gaunt's Ghosts movie would be way better. Focusing the movie on the space marines leaves no room for character development or complex stories. It will just be mindless violence throughout the whole movie. Which is all well and good, but I think the characters and situations in Gaunt's Ghosts would transfer perfectly to a movie.
