It'll be chaos or Nids methinks. Something that has big ships/deamons/bio titans for the Ultramarines to hack through and for the new generation of 12 year olds that have become GWs tarket market to jizz all over.
Totally off topic question, but should the eldar be able to fight the Tyranids full stop? Their hive fleet, and to a lesser extent synapse creatures, extend a warp block, that kills psykers and the like. All eldar are intrinsically psychic, so surely going near a decent number would kill them?

If this is straight to dvd...why ultramarines. Why not one of the interesting chapters like blood angels, space wolves or even one of the rogue chapters. Ultramarines are so...normal.
The more I think about it, I wonder who the Marines will be fighting in this movie, and what people's reactions would be to the different races... Orks - OMG They ripped off LoTR! Eldar - OMG They ripped off LoTR with elves in space! Necron - OMG They ripped off Terminator! Tyrannid - OMG They ripped off Alien! Dark Eldar - OMG They ripped off some b-grade horror movie that noone cares about! Or if they featured Imperial Guard... "OMG They ripped off Saving Private Ryan!"
And you definitely know that if they have a scene with Spaces Marines using drop pods they're gonna be like, "OMG DEY RIPPED OFF HALO!"

You know as well as I do that any layperson that's NEVER seen ANYTHING 40K before would have those reactions.
And what do you see most of in an Ork army? ORKS. You see this enormous wave of green-skinned space barbarians and tell the audience "Hey, those are Orks" you're going to get alot of "That's dumb Orcs are from LoTR :downs:".
That's why I'm bringing a big stick with me to the cinema.
There are huge differences between Green Orcs and Grey (Tolkien) Orcs.
What's the difference between Tolkien Orcs and Warhammer Orks? One letter :v: :hurr:
What's the difference between Tolkien Orcs and Warhammer Orks? One letter :v: :hurr:
40,000 years

Unless they're doing the story of Uriel Ventris and his time in the Eye of Terror. That would b pretty BA (especially since it really brings out the true grit and gore of the 40k universe)

Meat train from hell? Scary.
Don't forget the skinless chaos marines born from the giant acetic vagina monster, or the massive cages filled with fat people who get skinned alive.
Whose skins are then put on the skinless marines. Random women who are caught then have chaos babies. :byodood:
I want to see a movie with Nurgle in it, just to see how far Hollywood would go with his description.
I want to see a movie with Nurgle in it, just to see how far Hollywood would go with his description.
I honestly think Khorne and Tzeentch are the only Chaos Gods that can be shown in an R rated movie.
I honestly think Khorne and Tzeentch are the only Chaos Gods that can be shown in an R rated movie.
Khorne would really be pushing it too, he is essentially the dark god of blood and gore after all.
I honestly think Khorne and Tzeentch are the only Chaos Gods that can be shown in an R rated movie.
Tzeentch could realistically be portrayed as anything. Mind you, Nurgle has the... sanest mindset of the lot. Grandfather Nurgle and all that.
Khorne would really be pushing it too, he is essentially the dark god of blood and gore after all.
Khorne would be......interesting.
Khorne would be......interesting.
Khorne is the most generic of the lot. Any of the others would be way more interesting.
I would like to see one with slaanneesh or whatever. But, with the descriptions of chaos gods(and demons) makes peoples brains boil(in the fluff) I think nurgle would be like jabba the hut covered in shit. [editline]05:17PM[/editline]
Khorne is the most generic of the lot. Any of the others would be way more interesting.
Uh huh. Blood gods are every were. Sex,mind, and pestilence(or whatever nurgle is for) gods would be more interesting.
I think a movie based on Tzeentch would be pretty damn trippy/horrific. At least I think so after reading Grey Knights, some seriously fucked up shit in that book.

Just for reference, Nurgle is the god of pestilence and hope, and is the most likable of the gods. Also sentient disease daemon princes. Souldrinkers are the best renegade chapter.
Just for reference, Nurgle is the god of pestilence and hope, and is the most likable of the gods. Also sentient disease daemon princes. Souldrinkers are the best renegade chapter.
Pestilence and... Hope?
Pestilence and... Hope?
He's apparantley actually quite the jovial fellow. It's why he's known as "Papa Nurgle".
Slaanesh would be like a porno haha. I still think Khorne would be the best though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos_%28Warhammer%29#The_Chaos_Gods
Slaanesh would be like a porno haha. I still think Khorne would be the best though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos_%28Warhammer%29#The_Chaos_Gods
Not really, Slaanesh is all about sensations, not just sexual sensations, but EVERY sensation. Noise, taste, touch, smell, sight, everything is over-loaded with every kind of sensation you can imagine until you're incapable of feeling any sensation at all anymore.
Pestilence and... Hope?
He was born of the collected hopes and dreams of a universe. Pestilence because all dreams are doomed to fail.

He's still the god of pleasure! In my mind, it can be a porno.
