People only die once or slowly decay, they can commit hundreds if not thousands of acts of bloodshed and violence in that time span.
But those bodies will decay.
But those bodies will decay.
Which is why all the gods need oneanother in some form to thrive. I always imagined 2 teams, Tzeench and Slaanesh and Nurgle and Khorne.
Khorne doesn't want his victims to feel pain? Rubbish He's the Blood God, God of Hate, rage, violence and bloodshed, while he isn't per say a god of pain (that'd be Slaanesh actually) I doubt he actually gives a shit if his followers feel pain.
Khorne thinks pleasure and pain are stupid, that is why he doesn't like Slaanesh. He just wants the enemy efficiently killed and their blood spilled, not tortured or left to die slowly. It's not rubbish. [editline]04:44PM[/editline] The more time spent torturing the less time spent actually killing.
What they should have done, IMHO is Do aBand of Brothers type TV series based around an Imperial Guard Regiment, Say Gaunts Ghosts, that way then you have plenty of room for relatable characters, plot growth, slowish introduction to the setting for those that don't know and an ass ton of violence.
Much as I agree with your views, I think it'd flop. People today are too obsessed with being 'cool' and too worried about what others may think of them, hell even knowing about 40K was a good way to get abused in my area.
A TV show for the Tanith first and only... It would be awesome. [editline]09:56PM[/editline] Ravenor or Eisenhorn?

What better way to get people pulled in than what would be quintessentially an action packed TV series.
A TV show for the Tanith first and only... It would be awesome.
I never said you didn't know anything about them. And you just explained it yourself, kill quickly and in a mass of numbers. Not torturing them, lighting them on fire, stuff like that.
When it comes to Chaos Gods teaming up, the probability would be Nurgle and Khorne; Tzeentch and Slaanesh. Or am I wrong? I mean sure they are all in one team but they all hate each one another.

[editline]06:30PM[/editline]
He isn't a particularly fussy soul, the actual death matters, not whether it was fast or slow.
but if it's faster, then they can go on to kill more quicker!

They are bad news for Cadia.
Not really, Abaddon really needs to get replaced, he's fucking useless.
Not really, Abaddon really needs to get replaced, he's fucking useless.
He's the only one who's gotten a black crusade or whatever its called. [editline]07:49PM[/editline] dark crusade [editline]07:49PM[/editline] something like that
He's the only one who's gotten a black crusade or whatever its called. [editline]07:49PM[/editline] dark crusade
Black Crusade, and you know how many he's had? Thirteen of those he's won? NONE hell, he can't even get past bloody Cadia and that's where he starts his crusades.
Black Crusade, and you know how many he's had? Thirteen of those he's won? NONE hell, he can't even get past bloody Cadia and that's where he starts his crusades.
Cadia is the most war-based imperial colony. Their freakin PDF are better equipped than the Imperial Guard itself. Who would they replace him with?
Black Crusade, and you know how many he's had? Thirteen of those he's won? NONE hell, he can't even get past bloody Cadia and that's where he starts his crusades.
Well, to be fair, everyone and their dog on Cadia has 15 guns and the training to back them up. And their Kasrs are just fucked up messes of cities.
Black Crusade, and you know how many he's had? Thirteen of those he's won? NONE hell, he can't even get past bloody Cadia and that's where he starts his crusades.
That's because a Cadian soldier would probably make Master Chief shit himself in fear.
That's because a Cadian soldier would probably make Master Chief shit himself in fear.
Not a halo fan, but no, probably not. They aren't THAT badass, they couldn't take on an entire planet of aliens with just one soldier. They are the most trained and most equipped as I stated earlier but they aren't insanely amazing at fighting and able to take on an entire black crusade.
Ok, a squad of Kasrkins.
Abaddon probably spends his time in the eye building up courage, then when he does leave, sees a kasrkin taking a dump and runs home screaming.
People only die once or slowly decay, they can commit hundreds if not thousands of acts of bloodshed and violence in that time span.
The bodies are the deceased decay, the people who commits it must die. Everyone fears death and tries to survive to their best of their abilites, unless they're Chaos, in which I assume when they die, their souls are simply transfered into their god's realm. Even Space Marines tries to survive their best, because they can only serve the Emperor while they're alive. Everything tries to survive, that survival is Nurgle. If Nurgle isn't the strongest god, then who is?

Every act of violence gives Khorne power, whether committed by his followers or by enemies. The name "Khorne" derives from his Dark Tongue name, Kharneth, meaning "Lord of Rage" or "Lord of Blood". He is the mightiest and the oldest of the four Chaos gods, fully coming into existence during Terra's Middle Ages.
http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Khorne Khorne is not just the god of death and bloodshed but general anger, violence, and hate as well.
Khorne
Khorne is just so... one dimensional. Sure, he is the god of anger, but not everything gets angry. And if it does, it feels pleasures, so slannesh gets something from it, and it decays, so nurgle gets that. And if it decays, it changes, so tzeentch.
everything dies
Everything decays. Not everything is killed.
Wait... I recall somebody mentioning the film only being 70 minutes long. I'm sure they cant fit all of the information about Chaos Gods in 70 minutes and still have some time for violence
Wait... I recall somebody mentioning the film only being 70 minutes long.
It's not an infomercial it's made for fans of the game, it's not gonna take the time to explain the chaos gods
Hope so. Most of the time, when they try to explain the history or a series or some shit they didn't create themselves, they usually fuck up and put some non-canon bullshit. It should at least have the Horus Heresy with the Emperor obliterate Horus in the beginning of the film though.
