Tzeentch is the most powerfull of the four gods BTW
Let me explain this.
Khorne changes warriors into headless corpses
Nurgle changes said corpses into shit
Slaanesh changes the rest of the warriors into corrupted faggots
Everyone serves Tzeentch, one way or another, wether you like it or not. Change rules all.
Is The Emperor like 100% immune to corruption or could he also get affected? I mean obviously the guy wants the Imperium to prevail but still.

And at the same Time everyone doesn't serve Tzeentch because of the nature of himself he also doesn't exist at the same time as existing. He's the ultimate paradox.
Wait... I recall somebody mentioning the film only being 70 minutes long. I'm sure they cant fit all of the information about Chaos Gods in 70 minutes and still have some time for violence
There's probably going to be fuck all about the Chaos Gods, afterall, this is the Ultramarines movie.
Is The Emperor like 100% immune to corruption or could he also get affected? I mean obviously the guy wants the Imperium to prevail but still.
Nope, he's well beyond corruption and well on the way to becoming a god of chaos himself.
Humans seem to be exceptionally prone to corruption, he isn't human, not at all.
lol, if this movie is done right, it's going to be 18+
because of super violence
A TV show for the Tanith first and only... It would be awesome.

Ravenor or Eisenhorn?
Eisenhorn, character and story wise. He's amazing while Ravenor is just a bubble of flesh inside a robot chair.
It'll probably be Orks or Nids or something one dimensional for the opposition though :( Or Khrone :argh:

Well there blew my hopes for The Imperium.
What hopes exactly?
Sounds awesome.

And when that happens the Chaos Gods are in some deep shit (Gork and Mork too if they stick their noses in).
I'm hoping either Chaos or Orkz.

Do Gork and Mork actually exist?

Yep, in the warp they are always picking fights with the Chaos gods. Or better, they pick fight with one Chaos god and then the other three hurry to his back to stab him while he's fighting Gork and Mork.
And Gork and Mork never lose a fight (according to Orks, which makes it not very reliable).
What hopes exactly?
That they wouldn't be corrupted? Seriously now The Emperor might become a Chaos God and then The Imperium will either fight back and probably lose or join him.

well considering the guy's been doing this for ten thousand years and the fact that his mere presence holds the fucking astronomican together, i'm pretty sure that he's not gonna turn over to Chaos anytime soon. not to mention that he doesn't really have a choice to live or die either.

Shut up Q, you're wanted by the FBI for hanging out at disaster locations. But yeah you're right, atleast he's a "goodguy" for now.
Gork and Mork can't lose because they are the ultimate orks, and well: "Orkses is never defeated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!" So they can't lose. And they are gods, so they can't die.

Good Guy depends entirely on which species/faction you belong to.
Good Guy depends entirely on which species/faction you belong to.
Of course, the cabal would rather he died in the Horus Heresy, but now its just in everyones best interests to keep him alive, in case of sensei-emperor.

Yeah, hence why I used the apostrophe.

And of course, if he dies, the Imperium is royally screwed for several reasons.
To put it simply: If The Emperor dies, mankind -might- perish within a few hours though when he gets reborn he -might- fix it all quickly.
I hope they show some Necrons in there.

None of the gods of chaos can die unless you wipe out all the emotions in the universe (I think that's what the necrons are trying to do, but I don't know). This is because they are manifestations of those. And even if they did die there's no time in the warp so they would just strike in the future :psyduck:. And that way, no god can loose in the warp either. If the emperor was reborn as a warp manifestation the best he could do sould be to try to separate the two universes all together. This would stop chaos from leaking into the universe, but would also destroy warp travel and the emperors connection to the human race.
That's why it's Grimdark. Everything's shit and there's no real way out of the shit.
I'm late as fuck thanks to moving and shit, but I seriously hope that CG graphic posted a while back isn't the genuine article. Granted it seems to have that Bionicle look to it, which is what one would expect from the guys who make those movies, but still, it just doesn't look 40K.

Actually, if the Emperor dies, he destroys the warp and the chaos gods with it, and bringing peace to the galaxy.
Emperor = Jesus.

But warp isn't originally bad, just corrupted during the initial Necron invasion.

Uh, Nope, if the warp is destroyed, the Imperum is fucked, no astronominican, no interstellar communication and space journeys take centuries instead of months. If he dies, he'll probably ascend to Chaos Godhood and use his powers for whatever his purposes are.
But warp isn't originally bad, just corrupted during the initial Necron invasion.
Well, sort of, the Warp was originally calm but the War in Heaven (Old ones Vs C'Tan and their respective armies, eldar and orks vs necrons) whipped it up into a maelstrom. Though it is because of humanity and their nature that Khorne arose, some time in our middle ages. Before then it was just filled with predatory daemonic beings, no chaos gods.
The Emperor's death would lead to peace in the Galaxy, it is simple storytelling. GW is too afraid to advance the story cuz if the Emperor died, humanity would be the godly beings they are.
No, it wouldn't bring peace at all. If he died, Humanity is fucked, no astronominican, A webway open to the warp on Terra will be open and daemons will pour forth. Hell, without the Astronominican, you can't travel in the warp without getting lost and as i said, if the warp was destroyed, the Imperium and most of the galaxy would be royally screwed.

Humans can still use the warp for travel, its just they can only make shorter jumps, as it is only the navigators that need the astronominican to make a path. They do need it for the system to system jumps, however.
Goddamnit, all this got me in the mood to play Dawn of War 1 or 2. If anyone has DoW2 and wants to coop, chat me up on steam. My name is under my avatar.
