*Imagines the Siege of Troy with spce marines & Trojan Titans*
Which side would be Chaos? From what I remember, Odysseus was a Tzeentchian level dick.
A rather significant update. First actual appearance of rendered models in the teaser.

Those with history of seizures may want to look away.

0:42 to around 0:46 in the video. In the background. Looks like a Tyranid mouth.
Okay, NOW I'm pumped for this.
About time for an update, even though all it was was Space Marine glorification with a bunch of loud noises.

It's actually a bunch of human skulls.

Left hand side, kinda looked like teeth. You're right, now that I see it.
Still, I hope we see the Tyranids in the movie.
Hearing John Hurt talk about something i've been obsessed with since i was 5 is pretty awesome.
YEsterday I had an epic convo with my friend about Warhammer 40k and now I really want to get into it again.
Man, I don't know what's cheesier these days: The Marines, or their new movie trailer.
I never played their games before. Mind telling me who is the good guy?
I never played their games before. Mind telling me who is the good guy?
Depends on your view, I maintain that the Eldar and the Tau are the good guys. But you're supposed to be rooting for the Oppressive, controlling, xenophobic Imperium of Man. And the Space Marines.
I never played their games before. Mind telling me who is the good guy?
There are no good guys:
Imperium = Genocidal Space Nazis
Eldar = Dying race of vain elitists
Tau = Weaboos/Space Communists
Necrons = Kill everything for food
Tyrannids = Kill everything for biomass
Orks = Kill everything for fun
Dark Eldar = Enslave everything
Chaos = Kill everything to kill everything/for fun/for change/kill with sex

As someone once described it to me, "There is no black and white, there is only black and gray".
Tau seems to be the "nicer" of the lot, as they usually offer to let their targeted worlds join The Greater Good to start. Those that don't, though, are exterminated.
Plus they treat other races in their greater good as 2nd class citizens. also:
kill with sex
lol.
I thought the movie was dead. Glad its not.
As awesome as the Ultramarines are, I'd rather see it about the Blood Angels(not blood ravens).
Not a big Space Marine fan but of all the chapters, I felt the Blood Angels captured the perfect image of a Space Marine.

More like Necrons = Kill everything because they can

Ya It's all about what side you agree with.
I do also agree with Uberman about how there are no real "good guys" because the future is such a dark and gloomy place.
I do see the Imperium as the "good guys" in my eyes however, simply because they are human (And because I don't like aliens lol).
Eldar are the reason the universe is so fucked up.
Wait what? Greatest of them all is the Ultramarines? I'm pretty sure the Space Wolves would kick the Ultramarine's asses up and down their planet and still have time to go hunting Krakens on their homeworld.
Well Ultramarines were the first Legion to sucessfully combat Tyranids, correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think you are getting this. Space Wolves before they even get to be giant space marines fight Krakens, and other giant sea monsters. Their entire world is like a giant fault line except for this one tiny place. I believe the Ultramarine world is a city right, not even a super deadly city with anything trying to kill you except that crazy nutjob preaching to the emperor.
Does anyone remember that one imperial guardsman who stood up to Horus?
Man that guy had balls of steel.

I don't understand the problem everyone has with space marines. Sure, they're overused, but that's because they're fucking awesome.

Well you know, except the Tyranid swarms. They can be a right bitch.

Ehhhh. To be honest the game is more cheesy than awesome.
I mean you really have to adapt to a warrior sect actually being called the "space marines".
I mean, are they really the marines in space? Do you really need to specify they're in space? Not to say I don't enjoy the lore myself, but it's still kind of silly.

It's because marines are hardcore motherfuckers, and space is also primarily a hardcore motherfucker, so if you put them together, it makes the hardest-core motherfuckers the universe has ever seen

Don't forget about the Emprah, he was so badass he could probably shoot beams of awesome from his eyes.
